Chapter 1
Chapter 1
The dark sky thundered heavily as flapping of wings and heavy breaths could be heard. The sound of desperation followed the wind.
Two figures could be seen flying through the forest in the darkness of the night as the ceaseless raindrops fell on their battered bodies.
A male and a female. On the arms of the female laid a crying child encased in golden light and fire.
In hot pursuit behind them were winged armored warriors, armed with swords and scythes.
“We have to move faster dear” “We mustn't let them get to us.” The male spoke.
“I won't let them take my child away from me.” The female replied, ember-like tears sliding down her cheeks.
“Go ahead of me.”
“No!! I can't leave you here.”
“Go!! I'll be with you soon.” After a brief kiss, she ran away, never looking back.
In no time, the man was surrounded by his pursuers.
“So imprudent of you to leave your lover all alone and face us.” Their leader said. “Kiel, go after her while we deal with him.”
“As you wish.” Kiel replied as he fled towards the woman's direction.
“What do you want with the child, Drallion?” the man asked, frustration evident in his voice
“His existence is a menace to the universe and letting him live will only spell doom on us all.” Drallion explained
“We were ordered to bring him back with us.”
“Bring him back?” the figure asked. “Since the divine law states that all abominations must be killed, why were you ordered to bring him back?
“That's all you need to know since you're dying today. Surrender now or your death shall be painful.” Drallion threatened, unsheathing his weapon, prompting the rest to do the same.
“Come at me when you're ready.” the man dared, manifesting a sword from his divine auras.
One of them launched himself at his target, moving with the speed of sound. But his attack was effortlessly read and evaded, and in a swift counter, he was beheaded on the spot.
They stared at the headless carcass, their expressions a mix of fear, surprise, and rage. Ambivalence flickered in their eyes as they grasped the reality of their formidable opponent.
“Anyone else?” he asked, tauntingly.
“"You've gone far beyond the law!" Drallion shouted, seething with rage. "You won't go unpunished for this."
Their leader made his move, then the rest followed, charging towards their target all at once, hoping to subdue him with their numbers.
Clashing of swords and screams of agony filled the air, drowned by the endless downpour.

The woman ran as fast as her legs could carry her, maneuvering her way through the tall trees, her wings wet and damaged. The baby, surprisingly now asleep, unaware of the ongoing chaos.
A glimmer of hope arose in her heart as she caught sight of a cottage roof ahead.
With newfound energy, she ran till she collapsed in front of the small house, catching her breath.
Startled by the noise, a woman came out of the cottage, curious to know what was going on.
On seeing the feminine figure lying on the ground and the baby beside her, sympathy flooded her heart as she rushed to help the stranger to her feet.
“Help me.” “Please save my baby.”
“Why? “What's going on?” The woman asked, seemingly confused.
“There's no time to answer.”
“They're coming for my baby.” She replied, tears streaming down her cheeks.
“Y-your tears? T-They're on fire?!”
“Who are you?”
“What are you?”
“Who's coming?”. The woman fired a barrage of questions, taking a few steps back on noticing the dark wings. Scared for her life
“Please, there’s no time to…” her words were cut off as a sword slid into her heart from behind. She collapsed to the ground, blood pooling around her.
A gasp escaped the woman's lips as the scene before her left her petrified. Kiel walked towards her, his blood stained sword ready to take an innocent life.
“I would've told you not to speak of what you just saw, but you humans are stubborn creatures.”
“So it's best I take matters into my own hands.” Kiel grinned evilly as he slowly closed the distance between the two of them.
The woman closed her eyes, ready to accept her fate as she knew she had nowhere to run.
A sword sliced through the air, followed by a heavy thud. Another gasp slipped from her lips as she opened her tear-filled eyes.
Kiel’s headless body lay still on the bloody ground.
Standing above him was a man, mortally wounded and bathed in blood. His sword dripped with the blood of his executioners.
Tightly clutching his stomach wound, he limped towards his dying lover and held her hands, aware that death was closing in on them.
“You know what we have to do.”
“Yes I do.”
They placed each other's hands on their child under the woman's fearful gaze as they poured the remains of their energy and life force into him, temporarily sealing his powers.
“From now on this child is yours.”
“"Please raise him as your own and give him the motherly love he deserves."
“His powers won't be sealed for too long.”
With shaky hands, the terrified woman took the sleeping child from his mother.
“For how long will I keep him with me?” The woman asked.
“Keep him with you for as long as you can… until fate takes him to where his destiny lies.”
Using the last bit of power left in him, the man created a portal.
“You have to go far away from here.”
“This place is no longer safe for you.”
With tears in her eyes and sorrow weighing heavily on her heart, she stepped into the portal, having decided on where to go.
Just before it sealed shut, she cast one final glance at the child's parents—hand in hand, smiling gently—as their bodies slowly dissolved into a mixture of white and black ashes.
“What’s his name?”
“His…” He couldn't complete his statement as the harsh wind finally carried their ashes away.

Confused and momentarily thrown off by the sudden shift in formation. He moved to pursue, but froze.A searing pain tore through his left shoulder, foreign and biting, almost alien in sen

Celestial Hybrid Chapter 81
Innate Ability/SkillAn innate ability is a power that manifests when a being awakens its essence. It is neither learned nor acquired, and is inimitable by nature. It exists as part of their essence, always present even when inactive. When activated by will, it manifests naturally, without spells or techniques. An innate ability is exclusive to its owner; it cannot be copied, stolen, or truly replicated. To lose it is to lose a part of oneself.Though each is unique, innate abilities are broadly divided into three types:Offensive innate abilities define how a person attacks. They alter the nature of damage itself, turning even simple strikes into overwhelming force. These abilities do not create attacks, but transform them, ensuring the bearer’s offense carries a signature no enemy can ignore.Defensive innate abilities govern survival and resistance. They protect the bearer from harm, influence, or erasure, often activating when danger arises. Such abilities make their owners diffic

Celestial Hybrid Chapter 80
Even from where they stood, the Septet could feel the murderous intent radiating from Eryxil.“Such hostility… from a single weapon?” Remael’s voice trembled, a shiver crawling down his spine.Lirien twirled Eryxil with lethal precision, each rotation reflecting his control, taking slow, deliberate steps forward.“The Awakeners are extensions of our very being,” he said, voice smooth, dangerous. “When we are angry, they burn with anger. When we are sorrowful, they weep. And when we are murderous…” He paused, eyes scanning the group with gleeful malice. “…they are utterly, deliciously murderous.”He gestured toward the group, Eryxil’s edge gleaming with a faint green light. “Concentrate your energy into your voice and summon the true forms of your Awakeners.”The group hesitated, uncertain of Lirien’s intentions, but curiosity won out. Who wouldn’t want to grow stronger?Remiel watched as they drew energy through their lungs, the Drakhael’s words echoing in his mind: “Only in the hands

Celestial Hybrid Chapter 79
A figure hovered high above the chaos, watching silently. It was Nalaz — the same who had guided the Septets into the cave — but now, his form was a startling contrast to the burly old man from before. He appeared younger, his muscular frame wrapped in a shimmering blue robe. Veins of multicolored lightning coursed across his skin like living currents. With a deliberate stroke of his beard, his radiant blue eyes flickered with anger… and something far darker lurking beneath.“My castle, Ederev and Emrys, reduced to rubble and sand,” His deep voice rumbled, calm yet laced with menace as his eyes crackled with lightning. “If not for his orders, those demons would’ve tasted my wrath,”He watched as David and the trio launched the coordinated strike, their movements precise and desperate. A proud smile tugged at his lips.“They’re well aware of the one-sided nature of this battle,” He mused, amusement threading his voice, “yet they still fight to protect their own.”“How astonishing.”~~~

Celestial Hybrid Chapter 78
Few minutes ago Phlegethon Within a gigantic blue castle, the Sinlords gathered around a fountain of flowing black water. Its surface shimmered like a dark mirror, reflecting Remiel as he drew closer to the altar. Scowls carved across their faces as they watched in silence.Only Radamus lingered apart. He hovered lazily in the air, slouched upon a floating throne, sleepy eyes half-lidded. Disappointment simmered beneath his drowsy gaze, hidden behind a languid yawn and a posture that spoke of bored inevitability.“So… our pawns failed again,” He murmured, a languid yawn interrupting him. “How tedious. It appears the Seraphborns continue to exceed our expectations.”A blazing fist crashed into the fountain’s rim, liquefying stone on impact as the castle trembled. “Insufferable! Infuriating!” Arcanon bellowed, heat warping the air around him in relentless waves. “Those wretched lizards have made themselves a recurring blight on our designs.”A soft, lilting giggle echoed across the ro

Celestial Hybrid Chapter 77
For what felt like an eternity, the group stood rooted to the spot, stunned by what lay before them. The weapon they had only heard of in whispers. The sword the elder deities themselves spoke of with reverence. After thousands of years, they were the first to lay eyes on it since the war — since the age of the Drakhael and Zyren’s original wielder, Remiel’s father. The crushing pressure finally lifted, allowing them to rise unsteadily to their feet.“So this is the legendary Zyren,” Emriel said at last, amusement threading his voice. “It… kinda looks rusty.”“Bold of you to say such in front of that,” Ragna muttered, never taking his eyes off the ominous, blazing slits watching from the darkness behind the altar.“SILENCE!”The voice boomed across the chamber, shaking it to its foundations. The crushing pressure followed again, slamming them down to their knees as if the air itself had turned against them. Their bones trembled against their will, mocking all the power they had fought
