Chapter 1
The dark sky thundered heavily as flapping of wings and heavy breaths could be heard. The sound of desperation followed the wind.
Two figures could be seen flying through the forest in the darkness of the night as the ceaseless raindrops fell on their battered bodies.
A male and a female. On the arms of the female laid a crying child encased in golden light and fire.
In hot pursuit behind them were winged armored warriors, armed with swords and scythes.
“We have to move faster dear” “We mustn't let them get to us.” The male spoke.
“I won't let them take my child away from me.” The female replied, ember-like tears sliding down her cheeks.
“Go ahead of me.”
“No!! I can't leave you here.”
“Go!! I'll be with you soon.” After a brief kiss, she ran away, never looking back.
In no time, the man was surrounded by his pursuers.
“So imprudent of you to leave your lover all alone and face us.” Their leader said. “Kiel, go after her while we deal with him.”
“As you wish.” Kiel replied as he fled towards the woman's direction.
“What do you want with the child, Drallion?” the man asked, frustration evident in his voice
“His existence is a menace to the universe and letting him live will only spell doom on us all.” Drallion explained
“We were ordered to bring him back with us.”
“Bring him back?” the figure asked. “Since the divine law states that all abominations must be killed, why were you ordered to bring him back?
“That's all you need to know since you're dying today. Surrender now or your death shall be painful.” Drallion threatened, unsheathing his weapon, prompting the rest to do the same.
“Come at me when you're ready.” the man dared, manifesting a sword from his divine auras.
One of them launched himself at his target, moving with the speed of sound. But his attack was effortlessly read and evaded, and in a swift counter, he was beheaded on the spot.
They stared at the headless carcass, their expressions a mix of fear, surprise, and rage. Ambivalence flickered in their eyes as they grasped the reality of their formidable opponent.
“Anyone else?” he asked, tauntingly.
“"You've gone far beyond the law!" Drallion shouted, seething with rage. "You won't go unpunished for this."
Their leader made his move, then the rest followed, charging towards their target all at once, hoping to subdue him with their numbers.
Clashing of swords and screams of agony filled the air, drowned by the endless downpour.

The woman ran as fast as her legs could carry her, maneuvering her way through the tall trees, her wings wet and damaged. The baby, surprisingly now asleep, unaware of the ongoing chaos.
A glimmer of hope arose in her heart as she caught sight of a cottage roof ahead.
With newfound energy, she ran till she collapsed in front of the small house, catching her breath.
Startled by the noise, a woman came out of the cottage, curious to know what was going on.
On seeing the feminine figure lying on the ground and the baby beside her, sympathy flooded her heart as she rushed to help the stranger to her feet.
“Help me.” “Please save my baby.”
“Why? “What's going on?” The woman asked, seemingly confused.
“There's no time to answer.”
“They're coming for my baby.” She replied, tears streaming down her cheeks.
“Y-your tears? T-They're on fire?!”
“Who are you?”
“What are you?”
“Who's coming?”. The woman fired a barrage of questions, taking a few steps back on noticing the dark wings. Scared for her life
“Please, there’s no time to…” her words were cut off as a sword slid into her heart from behind. She collapsed to the ground, blood pooling around her.
A gasp escaped the woman's lips as the scene before her left her petrified. Kiel walked towards her, his blood stained sword ready to take an innocent life.
“I would've told you not to speak of what you just saw, but you humans are stubborn creatures.”
“So it's best I take matters into my own hands.” Kiel grinned evilly as he slowly closed the distance between the two of them.
The woman closed her eyes, ready to accept her fate as she knew she had nowhere to run.
A sword sliced through the air, followed by a heavy thud. Another gasp slipped from her lips as she opened her tear-filled eyes.
Kiel’s headless body lay still on the bloody ground.
Standing above him was a man, mortally wounded and bathed in blood. His sword dripped with the blood of his executioners.
Tightly clutching his stomach wound, he limped towards his dying lover and held her hands, aware that death was closing in on them.
“You know what we have to do.”
“Yes I do.”
They placed each other's hands on their child under the woman's fearful gaze as they poured the remains of their energy and life force into him, temporarily sealing his powers.
“From now on this child is yours.”
“"Please raise him as your own and give him the motherly love he deserves."
“His powers won't be sealed for too long.”
With shaky hands, the terrified woman took the sleeping child from his mother.
“For how long will I keep him with me?” The woman asked.
“Keep him with you for as long as you can… until fate takes him to where his destiny lies.”
Using the last bit of power left in him, the man created a portal.
“You have to go far away from here.”
“This place is no longer safe for you.”
With tears in her eyes and sorrow weighing heavily on her heart, she stepped into the portal, having decided on where to go.
Just before it sealed shut, she cast one final glance at the child's parents—hand in hand, smiling gently—as their bodies slowly dissolved into a mixture of white and black ashes.
“What’s his name?”
“His…” He couldn't complete his statement as the harsh wind finally carried their ashes away.

Celestial Hybrid Chapter 65
“What? How are you moving?” Seryth’s voice wavered, disbelief breaking through her composure. “Even the Darkbloods would struggle to withstand that… aside from Dravok and Vaelthar.”The Ether Twins — Ignis and Igna — trembled against the ground. Then, as if stirred by a shared will, they rose, weightless and humming with latent power.Scylla stood tall amid the swirling mist, utterly untouched. “Guess I’m built differently.”With a fluid motion, she formed a hand sign. Ignis ascended above her, its core blazing with intensifying flame. “Ars Magia Aetheris — Ignis Abyssum!”A small black void bloomed on the hilt, and from it erupted torrents of flame — devouring the air itself. The inferno spread fast, burning through mist and atmosphere alike as the temperature spiked violently.Seryth staggered back from the heat, but Scylla gave her no reprieve.“Flammae Divisae, Insequimini!”The twin blades, Igna and Ignis, shuddered — then blurred and multiplied, splitting into a dozen mirrored

Celestial Hybrid Chapter 64
Scylla and Seryth clashed with furious precision, sparks of fire and mist scattering with every strike of their blades. Scylla brought both Ether Twins down in a blazing arc, but Seryth’s wings unfolded like a shield of scaled emerald — the impact rang out like thunder, sending Scylla skidding backward across the scorched ground.Seryth’s eyes gleamed. “Demon Magic Arts: Mist of Paralysis.”Her twin daggers dissolved into smoke as her scaly hands pulsed with an ominous green glow. Then, like a living plague, a dark mist poured from her form — coiling, whispering, spreading faster than breath.Scylla leapt back, but the fog was relentless. It swallowed the air around her before she could react. She inhaled once — a mistake. Her movements faltered. Her armor’s flames flickered weakly, sputtering out as stiffness crept into her limbs. Her blades slipped from her grasp, falling to the ground with a metallic echo.“Wh–what is this? I… can’t move…” she managed, eyes wide, breath shallow. “

Celestial Hybrid Chapter 63
The fight between Scylla and Seryth — now in Scylla's form — raged on with neither of them relenting until… one of them faltered.“Arrrgh!” Seryth growled, clutching her chest as she staggered backwards. Her glassy skin came into view as her weapons reverted back to its previous form. “What did you do to me?!” Scylla stood before her, catching her breath as her slightly battered armor burned brighter with her ether flames. “Can't you guess?! She asked, mockery laced in her tone. “I thought you demons were smart?”Seryth noticed the strange symbol etched on her skin. It didn’t hurt, but it felt heavy, wrong. She turned sharply to Scylla.“What is this?”Scylla crossed her arms. “That’s the Ethercurse Mark. You were so fixated on stealing my power that you didn't even notice it.”Seryth frowned. “It stops you from stealing my power,” Scylla said flatly. “The mark doesn’t do anything while you’re yourself. But the second you try to transform into me, it activates. Instead of adapting

Celestial Hybrid Chapter 62
The land itself trembled as if trying to flee the chaos that unfolded. With an ear-splitting shriek, Astragon — David’s thunderbird — took to the skies, its colossal wings crackling with arcs of raw Chaos Lightning. Every beat of its wings birthed purple-black storm clouds, and from them rained bolts so vast they split the earth open like fragile clay.Bloodfang roared back in fury, molten flames bleeding from its hide. The monstrous behemoth slammed its claws into the ground, molten blood gushing from its wounds and igniting into a blazing wall of living fire. Its roar shook the battlefield, every breath dripping with rage as the barrier surged higher, fueled by its unquenchable wrath. Lightning and fire collided, detonations shaking the battlefield, scorching soil and sky alike. Then the twilight surged. Umbraleon, Seran’s stag, thundered across the ruined earth, spectral afterimages bending reality in its wake. Its antlers glowed with the twilight’s paradox light before releasing a

Celestial Hybrid Chapter 61
A figure emerged from the haze, each step leaving the ground blackened and rotting. His armor was a grotesque carapace of writhing brown, mouths gaping open, gnashing at the air like starving dogs. In his grip, a massive scythe spun in a lazy circle, gleaming with the promise of ruin. He leveled it at the one before him, tone disturbingly calm against the horror of his form.“We’re both demons,” Vorvain said, a crooked smile twisting across his face, hungry and unending. “So why waste time fighting? Come closer… let me savor your essence as I devour you.”The figure opposite him chuckled, the sound like fire cracking in a forge. His demon-draconic armor shimmered with black scales veined in molten red, flames crawling across him like a second skin. The wind tore through his black hair, sending it wild, while his eyes — burning crimson — locked on his foe. At his side, a double-bladed scythe hovered, humming like it was laughing with him.Emriel tilted his head, grin sharp and mocking.
