Rio wakes to the sound of banging coming from outside the hut.

He jumps to his feet, almost falling off of the bed.

"What is it?" the servant asks, rushing over to the door.

"It's me," says a familiar voice. It sounds like the old man.

The banging continues and Rio looks under the doorway revealing a pair of feet.

Rio looks towards his servant with an angered expression.

"Ugh, You can't even kill a weak old man!" He rages in his mind. "Just let him in already."

Rio's servant bows his head to Rio and lets the old man in while Rio hides behind the door.

Upon entering the room, The old man stares quietly at Rio's servant, eyeing him up and down. Rio notices this and gets a bad feeling.

The old man remains silent, simply walking around the room, When suddenly his body begins to tremble. His mouth opens wide as Rio can see teeth forming inside. Turning to face the servant once more the old man's eyes flare up.

Before Rio could think, the old man pounces on top of his servant, pinning him to the ground.

Get out of my home! The man shouts as his fist flies through the air fast enough for Rio to hear the wind move around it. The old man slams his fist through the servant's head causing the his hand to break away from the impact.

The old man pulls whats left of his hand out of the servant's face leaving a pool of water that quickly mixes with the servant's blood as it flows across the uneven flooring.

Rio is taken aback by the old man's strength and blood thirst, but is even more taken aback by his lack of care for his hand. The man didn't show any signs of pain after having his hand crushed against the floor. And what was more surprising, was his lack of blood. Despite the heavy injury, the old man didn't shed a single drop of blood.

Suddenly a new mission appeared in Rio's head.

"Alberoths survival challenge: Survive within "The Rain".

[Reward: Dependent on how well you survive within the event]

[tip: Idleness will not be rewarded.]

Rio let out a wide grin.

He was undoubtedly afraid of the possible dangers within the event for a mission to have been granted. But on the other hand, his curiosity to see what the effects of the Rain really looked like on the inside made him more than happy to accept.

"Since idleness is frowned upon, I guess I should get right into the action" He thought to himself while running out from around the door.

Before the old man can notice his presence, Rio grips his leg and rips it off.

Water gushes from the wound as the old man falls on his back.

Rio runs up to the old man and bites down on his neck.

With one swift motion he rears his head back taking the old man's jugular vein with him.

Water rushes out of the old man's neck and pools around the two of them.

The old man's body begins to deconstruct into one large puddle on the ground.

Rio quickly steps away from the puddle fearing what could happen if he stayed in it.

Fortunately for him, the puddle  of water didn't seem to carry any of the anomalous traits that it had while taking the form of the old man.

"This shouldn't be too bad."

Rio begins making his way out of the open doors and enters into the streets.

The storm rages above and a mass of people block his path.

Bending down, Rio dashes towards the mass.

[Outside Clear water]

"Squad C to Vector, Tracks have been spotted at a nearby Ravine. along with his foot prints, there are also hoof prints. We suspect that these are the same ones we saw at the old church. Those Control bastards are still up to no good. Even with how things are now!"

"Vector to Squad C, Are you sure that you saw both of their prints together?"

"Affirmative sir."

"Hmmm, Things might not be as simple as we initially thought. Where do the tracks lead."

"The track seem to head in the direction of Clear Water."

"Dammit, let's hope they haven't made their way inside before the thunderstorm started. Ugh, Why did it have to be June now!"

"Vector to HQ, We have a bit of a problem. It seems that someone from Control, has managed to summon another anomaly. Their tracks were seen making their way towards Clear Water. I believe that they may be hiding within the town."

"HQ to Vector, Have your team stand by on the outskirts of town. We will begin deploying reinforcements. If They are truly hiding inside, we will be prepared to sniff them out once the anomalous event ends."

"Copy that"

Gaius states bluntly as he looks over Hiro. Hiro shakes his head in response. "I might not have gotten much sleep, But you will see the impact of all of my efforts soon." Hiro explains confidently. Gaius narrows his eyes slightly before responding. "Cockiness is not an attractive trait, But I will allow you a bit of pride if what you say is true.
