The wind howled like a living thing, clawing at their bodies as the platform quaked beneath them. Naomi dangled over the edge, her hand slick with sweat, her grip slipping inch by inch from Ethan’s grasp.

“Hold on!” Ethan shouted over the deafening roar of air. His fingers strained as he braced himself against the glass edge, feet sliding dangerously close to the drop. “Naomi, I’ve got you!”
