Chapter 23

Jacob was the kind of guy that always loved to steal the show. Berry knew that the only company he might have tonight was Henry and if he refuses to show up, he’ll be forced to hang around Jacob and his girlfriend who always wanted to be the center of attention.

When Henry turned around, Jacob’s phone began to ring. He lifted a hand to Henry to give him a moment. He quickly responded. It was a video call from his girlfriend.

“Hi, babe!”

She flipped her hair and began to throw a tantrum. “You know what babe, you better watch out for your dorm guys and ensure they look good. I don’t want you showing up with them wearing cheap clothes around you and also looking very ordinary. You know I’m hosting tonight’s social gathering, right? Everything has to be perfect.”

Henry and the boys exchanged glances.

She continued. “And for that Henry, he better not show up if he’s going to come here smelling like trash. We heard that he’s suddenly rich but some of us are so sure it was a prank.”
