Chapter 31

Back in his dormitory, Henry lay on his back on the bed. He was about to fall into a snooze when the door was pushed open. Berry walked in.

Berry rushed toward Henry and settled by the edge of his bed. “Are you alright Henry? I hope Mathew didn’t do anything to you?”

When Mathew followed Jean and Henry outside, the boys were restless and when he returned, he just grabbed his things and left after asking his boys to keep an eye on Jacob’s team.

Jacob and the others were watched by Mathew’s boys so they didn’t dare to move. It was after Mathew left the bar that the boys were free.

Henry sat up. “I’m fine. I swear I’m fine.”

“How did you escape? And Jean? What happened to her?”

Suddenly, Jacob and Dalton walked in, bearing worried expressions. Jacob sighed in relief when he noticed that Henry was in one piece.

“Jean is fine. I escorted her back to her dormitory.” Henry said.

His roommates noticed that he was very relaxed so they felt at ease.
