Chapter 42

Henry’s heart skipped a beat and a bad premonition suddenly hit him. It was very likely that Chelsea had been caught by Mathew. Henry turned to Dalton with a clenched fist. “If Mathew dares hurt Chelsea then he’ll get the miserable death I promised him.”

Dalton was anxious. “Did Chelsea get kidnapped? We need to reach Berry. Maybe he was able to find her.”

Henry pulled out his phone. “I’ll call Berry.” He then dialed Berry’s number and placed it on speaker. The phone kept ringing but there was no response.

Dalton’s fear heightened.

Henry frowned and dialed the number again but this time, he was informed that Berry’s phone was switched off. Henry had no choice but to imagine the worst-case scenario. Not only Chelsea was caught but Berry too.

When Dalton learned that Berry’s line was no longer accessible, he began to tremble in fear. He dared not imagine what kind of harm Berry and Chelsea would suffer at the hands of Mathew.

“What should we do, Henry?”
