Before he could even regain his balance, another attack struck—one invisible to Ranu’s eyes. He only sensed a massive surge of energy moving toward him.

Ranu quickly dodged again, leaping two steps to the side. But suddenly, a powerful blow smashed into his back, sending him tumbling across the ground repeatedly.

A faint cough escaped his lips, followed by a trickle of fresh blood from the corner of his mouth. Forcing himself up, Ranu wiped the blood with the back of his hand.

Before he could fully stand, yet another unseen strike landed squarely on his chest. Fortunately, he managed to cross his arms in front of him just in time, sensing the overwhelming energy coming his way.
