Asher only took a guard who drove the car, not listening to Isabella would make her feel bad, so he decided to take Romeo along with him.

While he sat behind with the gun pointed at Rex’s thigh, his body trembling profusely as he kept his eyes on the road. A cold sweat broke out on his skin. Unsure of what to say or do, he knew it was over for him.

But what he couldn’t understand was how he and his brothers were taken down by one man, all because they underrated him.

When they arrived at the expected location, Asher pushed Rex out of the car and instructed his driver not to step out. He even informed him to stay hidden, to avoid being caught.

The driver nodded, and without hesitation, he drove toward a hidden spot. He watched as Asher pushed Rex forward. At first, Asher thought he had been taken to a slum or a warehouse, but that was far from that; he was brought to a residential mansion downtown.
