Asher was mute; he knew they wouldn’t believe him if he said it out, “How I saw it shouldn’t be the issue here; what matters most is helping you.”

He claimed it was feeding on me, using me to sustain itself and that something needed to be done. He offered me the treatment and told me that the main treatment would cost me a lot; it might include everything I have.”

He couldn’t tell why he was hit, but he knew better than to offend Vandy. “Do you know who you have offended,” Vandy roared. “You had better pray he doesn’t want you to be eliminated because I will gladly skin you and have your body fed to the vulture.” Stewart trembled not just in fury, but in fear and confusion. “Who is he, and why is Vandy acting that way?” “Could the young man be his boss?” “Is he a millionaire in disguise? Is he from this city?” “Please, forgive me. I might have done

Asher stood unfazed. He knew Chris was trying to play a trick on Stewart, but he was making the wrong choice. Why use him to shift the attention?Stewart raised his brow as his gaze met with Asher. “Vault, that sounds like a child's bedtime story.”“Oh, no. Mr. Stewart. Legends say it holds remnants of the ancients, the kind of power that can turn a man into something more. You can also find marks where diamonds are located. It's a rare object.”“How am I sure it is real, and you are not trying to trick me,” Stewart asked with his eyes darting from Asher to Chris.“It's real, the man there can tell. If not he wouldn't have purchased it.” Chris muttered.Stewart took a step forward towards Asher; his expression was cold a

“Alright.” Asher said, “Fifteen thousand right.”The vendor nodded his head in agreement; he smiled, knowing he had tricked Asher into believing the stone was real.
