That morning, while leaving, Asher never bothered informing Mason or anyone about where he was going. He stepped out without his car, going to the gate entrance, where he saw a Black Range Rover parked outside.

He thought it was Don Francisco’s men, but was met with a familiar face, Vandy.

Asher’s brow furrowed in surprise to see him waiting for him.

Vandy walked towards Asher and tilted his head in respect, “Mr. Mancini,” he called out with a low tone. “I am worried, About you. I heard you met with Don Francisco the other day; he is planning on taking you on an unknown adventure; I can talk with Francisco, and he will listen to me. You don’t need to take such a risk if you don’t want to.”

Asher looked at him for a moment; at first, he was surprised that Vandy knew about it, but at some point, he remembered the man’s occupation, and it was possible for him to have spies among Francisco’s men.
