"Miss Jackson, don't misunderstand, I'm here to apologize." The bald man led two followers into the house.

First, he glanced instinctively at Junior and Timothy, fear evident in his eyes, then he knelt down to Wallace's family. "I'm sorry, everyone, for what happened yesterday. Please don't take offense..."

"Get up and talk!" Rosemary took a deep breath before continuing. "Tell me, who went to see your boss? What caused such a big change in your attitude?"

"In response to Miss Jackson, no one went to see our boss," the bald man said after getting up from the ground. "Our boss attended a special meeting in the city last night regarding demolition. The authorities emphasized strict scrutiny of compensation issues, and fearing a backlash from homeowners, our boss made this decision."

"Then why did the neighbors come to thank us?" Rosemary pressed on.

"There's a clerk in that department who said he knows your family," the bald man continued after a slight pause. "He warned our boss to provide some additional compensation to homeowners to prevent trouble." With that, he took a bag from one of his followers. "Here's fifty thousand compensation for Miss Jackson and your family. If you want to sell this house, we'll buy it at market price. If not, you can stay here temporarily until the area is officially demolished. I'll find you a temporary place to live, and when the new houses are built, you can move back."

"Is this for real?" Harley asked.

"It's only right! Miss Jackson, if there's nothing else, I'll take my leave!" The bald man left the bag on the floor, bowed once more, then hurried out the door. He didn't want to stay a minute longer, fearing he might say something wrong. Once outside, he felt a cold sweat drenching his back.

"They really gave fifty thousand to each household?" Sylvie asked, looking at the bag with joy. She had just reluctantly refused the money from the neighbors, so she still felt a bit regretful! Seeing that they also received fifty thousand, she felt much relieved. At the same time, she looked at Junior with complex eyes. Although she couldn't be sure if Junior's acquaintance had anything to do with this, he had indeed helped. And they unexpectedly received fifty thousand!

"Timothy, did you go to see Thaddeus Lucas last night?" Rosemary asked after a brief thought, turning to Timothy.

"Huh?" Timothy blinked, then shook his head vigorously. "No! He's the big boss. I wouldn't dare go to see him!"

"Neither of you ever tells the truth!" Rosemary scolded Junior and Timothy.

"Daddy, Laurel wants to be lifted high. Daddy, lift Laurel high," Laurel said, snuggling in Junior's arms.

"Alright!" Junior nodded with a smile and lifted Laurel up with both hands.

Nelson Estate, West of the city.

Stetson, the head of the Nelson family, sat in the hall of his villa, holding a cigar, his face dark.

Ever since the incident with Ira Nelson, his mood hadn't been good. What troubled him even more was that he had mobilized all the family's resources to investigate the events of five years ago, to see if the Dutt family had any remaining members, but so far, there had been no news. Additionally, the person who had killed his son at the Crown Hotel that night had disappeared without a trace, leaving him unsure who to seek revenge on.

Soon, footsteps were heard at the door.

Armani, his brother, entered quickly, dragging a thin, blood-covered man with him, blood still oozing from his mouth.

"Stetson, we've got a lead!" Armani threw the thin man on the ground and looked at Stetson.

"Speak!" Stetson's eyes lit up.

"This guy got drunk at a tavern a few days ago and accidentally let slip some important information." Armani pointed at the thin man. "Five years ago, he personally witnessed Wallace's eldest daughter Rosemary saving someone. If all goes well, that someone should be the sole survivor of the Dutt family!"

"Hmm!?" Stetson's eyes narrowed as he looked at the man and asked sharply, "Are you sure it was Rosemary?"

"Yes... yes..." The thin man struggled to speak. "Rosemary... she's the number one beauty in Eastoria. I... I could recognize her at a glance..."

"Where did you see her save someone?" Stetson continued.

"Just... just on the street next to the former Dutt family’s villa..." Blood continued to trickle from the man's mouth.

"I... I saw her... she helped a man covered in blood into a taxi..."

"What did the man look like?" Stetson asked, taking a puff of his cigar.

"It was too far, too short a time, and the man's face was covered in blood, so I couldn't see clearly, but I knew it was a man..."

Phew!

Hearing this, Stetson exhaled heavily, his eyes slightly narrowed. "So, there really is a survivor!"

"I... I've told you everything I know, please... please spare me. I promise I won't say anything..." The thin man spoke again, coughing up more blood.

Crack!

Before he could finish, Armani stomped on his chest, the sound of bones breaking echoing.

"Second brother, are you sure the person at the Crown Hotel that night wasn't from the Dutt family?" Stetson glanced at the corpse on the ground and asked.

"Absolutely!" Armani nodded vigorously. "I know all the people from the Dutt family, and that person was definitely a stranger!"

"It seems that the remains of the Dutt family must have climbed up to someone powerful!" Stetson nodded slightly.

"Yeah!" Armani nodded in agreement. "Big brother, it's simple. I've already found out Rosemary's address. Just grab her and we'll find out!"

"Good. Leave this to Leroy McCormick!" After taking another puff of his cigar, Stetson added, "Tell him personally to handle this. The fewer people who know, the better!"

"Alright!" Armani nodded and dialed a number on his phone.

Ronald was utterly blindsided when Junior and Archangel boldly murdered Razor right before his eyes. It had been a long while since anyone dared to challenge him in such a brazen manner. His eyes flickered with an icy menace as he radiated a powerful aura. Staring coldly at the duo, he spat out each word with icy precision. "Very good, you guys are damn impressive!"After his comment, he turned to address another middle-aged man, "Mr. Baker, you've seen it with your own eyes. The Darkmoon Legion is out of control, murdering innocents! I trust you'll see justice done today."Kenneth Baker nodded in agreement before turning his attention to Junior. "You guys from the Darkmoon Legion are really crossing the line, showing zero respect for the law. Who's your boss? I want him here, now!"Archangel couldn't help but sneer. "And who the hell are you, moron? Seems like you think you're a big shot.""How dare you!" a man in civilian clothes behind Kenneth interjected angr

The buzz-cut man pointed furiously at them. Before he could finish, a swift breeze swept from Junior's hand. A split second later, a severed hand dropped to the ground, blood gushing out."Ah..." The bald man screamed in agony."Shut your mouth or I'll kill you first," Junior said icily, then glanced at the man on the ground. "You, were you the bastard forcing Rosemary and the others to come here and drink?""You prick! You crippled my arm! I'm gonna fucking kill you today!" The bald man seethed, struggling to his feet. Before he could finish, Junior flicked his wrist. Instantly, the bald man's body burst open, leaving nothing but a mist of blood. Razor a

"Huh?" Archangel paused, a hint of disbelief in his voice. "These assholes really chose death!"Junior grabbed his phone and tried calling Rosemary. But all he got was a voicemail message. The chill emanating from Junior spiked, his gaze turning icy as he ordered Archangel. "Pull up the street cameras, now!""Got it!" Archangel whipped out a specialized Darkmoon Legion smartphone, quickly accessing the surveillance with a few taps."It's that club up ahead." After scrutinizing the footage, Archangel pointed towards a club at the street's end."Get some backup and seal off this street, pronto!" Junior commanded as they made their way to the club, his voice brooking no argument. "Tonight, we're not letting anyone off the hook, no matter who they are.""Right away!" With a nod, Archangel sent out the order. In no time, the message mobilized a thousand soldiers clad in embroidered uniforms, converging on Eastoria City's pedestrian zone. The rapid respo

However, Junior completely ignored him. He turned around and walked towards the parking lot."You bastard, I'm talking to you. Didn't you hear me?" Joe chased after him angrily."Get lost!" Junior said in a deep voice."What an arrogant asshole!" Joe frowned. "I'm gonna teach you a lesson today."After saying that, he raised his hand and was about to smash Junior.Just then, four off-road jeeps screeched to a halt, and over ten men in casual clothing stepped out with serious and tense expressions."Dad!" Joe shouted when he saw the man in the lead."Joe? Why are you here?" The man in the lead was Joe's father, Adler Tyler."Dad, you came at the right time. There's a guy pretending to be a soldier here," Joe said as he walked towards his father. "I asked him what rank he had, and he shamelessly said that he didn't need a rank!""What?" Adler turned to look at Junior. His body trembled, and his face was filled with horror. Then, he quickly

"Joe!" Stacey frowned slightly and looked at Junior. "I'm sorry, Mr. Anderson. Joe didn't mean that. Don't take it to heart. He...""I meant what I said!" Joe interrupted her. "I can't stand people who love to pretend. What do you mean you have no military rank? Other than recruits, all soldiers have military ranks. This is common sense. And he's obviously not a recruit. How can he not have a military rank?""Mr. Tyler, please mind your words." Rosemary was slightly displeased. "If my husband says he doesn't have a military rank, then he doesn't. He has no reason to lie to you.""Miss Jackson, I'm trying to help you here." Joe looked at Rosemary. "All soldiers have a military rank. He definitely isn't a soldier if he doesn't have a military rank. Don't be fooled by him! He might even be stripped of his military rank because he violated military discipline!""Joe, what's wrong with you? Can you shut up now?!" Stacey felt embarrassed, and her tone became colder. Th
