Chapter XIX (Vax and his Concealing Exorcism Spell)

Dryle scrutinized Damion closely, squinting with inquisitiveness. He observed that Damion's body was emitting steam. "Hmm? Is he..."

Following that, he picked up Elijah from Larion and laid him on the floor. From his hands, he cast a two-layered exorcism circle. He then aimed it right at Elijah and looks at Damion and gives a mocking query: "Certainly, the accursed angel dwelling in your mind does not perceive any worth in the importance of your friend's existence, am I right?"

A brewing light was then radiating from the exorcism circle in his right palm, which astonished Damion.

"Should I kill this friend of yours?" Dryle added, grinning.

Damion was infuriated. His eyes were glaring in anguish at Dryle for threatening Elijah's life. The emission of steam from his body intensified. "Stay away from Elijah. You bastard!"
