Jordan stopped after noticing the darkness From a nearby alley where the lights had failed. And two men suddenly emerged from the darkness, moving slowly and deliberately toward him, like a lion mirroring its prey.

“Who could they be?” Jordan thought to himself, confused and puzzled.

“Please… I don’t have anything, be it cash, an expensive watch or a full bank account stuck with money. Am just a broke guy who got betrayed by love,” Jordan stammered, heart racing. But it seems the men approaching him cared less as expected.

All Jordan had left was ten dollars. He’d been paid fifty and spent forty of it on the necklace he bought for Sophia.

Jordan turned to run—but two more men appeared behind him. Now he was surrounded with no way out.

“We’re not here to chat or debate with you, if you know what is right, you better do the needful,” one of the men groaned, making Jordan snap. “Hand over everything you’ve got before we act harshly towards you,” one of the men demanded, stretching his hands toward jordan.

“I swear, I have nothing!” Jordan pleaded.

Before he could react, one of the men grabbed him from behind and started searching his pockets. After stroking his hands towards Jordan's pocket he found a hidden ten-dollar bill starched like a ball.

“Please... please, that’s all I have,” Jordan begged, clutching at the money. He tried to wrest it back, but the man pulled out a gun.

“Let go—or I’ll shoot.”

Jordan froze. Too late, he realized the danger.

The gun fired.

A lacing sharp pain exploded in his chest. And then he gradually collapsed to the ground. His vision began to blur. He lifted his trembling hand to his chest and suddenly noticed a pool of blood soaked in his fingers. He’d been shot—twice in the chest and there was no chance of survival because the hit was at a vital point and very severe.

“Is this blood, am I being shot, am i actually dying?” Jordan thought to himself, his eyes blinking in disbelief, his breath gradually seizing.

Jordan's gaze set upwards and the only thing he could see was the night sky, the stars fading into the haze of his vision.

And then—nothing.

Somewhere else in the kingdom of Sinclair, another world entirely, The desperate cries of a woman in labor echoed through the palace hallway like a thunderstorm breaking from sky to sky, the tension hardened and heart beat raising uncontrollably. Servants gathered anxiously at the door, whispering prayers for a safe delivery.

“Laura, keep pushing! If you stop now, the baby could die. You have to try!” urged Fiona, the palace nurse, her white gown stained with sweat. She gently stroked Laura’s hair gracefully as she encouraged her to try her best.

And then the cries increased as Laura pushed harder.

“Yes, that’s it. You’re almost there—just a little more!” Fiona urged desperately, her voice Louder than before.

Moments later after the successful labour, Fiona held a newborn baby in her arms. Her expression softened as she looked at the tiny, wriggling baby body with a warm smile that brightens her heart with expectations.

“It’s a miracle,” she breathed softly. “A baby boy. The true heir to the throne is born, the one who will carry on with his father’s legacy and strength.”

Fiona then brushed her fingers over the baby's soft, dark hair, her hands moving towards his cheek.

Just after her hands moved from the baby's cheek, the newborn opened his eyes—wide, curious, alert. Fiona froze, stunned. A baby’s eyes shouldn’t open this soon, and yet his gaze moved around the room with eerie awareness.

Where is this? Where am I? a voice echoed inside the child’s mind.

Though his mouth couldn’t form the words, the thoughts were unmistakably his—Jordan’s, who was shot dead on the chest.

He had been reincarnated into another different world entirely.

Who is this woman staring at me? he wondered.

He tried to move, but his tiny body wouldn’t cooperate, he wasn't in control of the body he was reincarnated into. Instead, a soft cry escaped his lips as the newborn began crying.

Somehow, Jordan remembered. The gun. The pain. The darkness that engulfed his blurry eyes before everything went into nothingness.

“He's so adorable when he cries,” Fiona cooed. “Take him and clean him. Bring him back for feeding,” Fiona then instructed the servant beside her, and just then two servants stepped forward and carried the newborn baby away.

Fiona turned to Laura—but something was wrong. Her chest was still, there Wasn't any sign of life present.

“No...” Fiona whispered under her breath. She rushed to check Laura Impulse, but nothing was moving, she wasn't breathing.

“Could she be dead?” Fiona murmured, her eyes widening in disbelief.

Meanwhile, Jordan was placed in a small, round, wooden basin filled with clean water while the servant who took him washed him gracefully and gently. As the servants were getting Jordan cleaned, something unexpected happened.

A translucent screen appeared before his eyes, floating in midair. Only he could see it and this got him stunned.

What is this? he thought to himself, eyes widening.

The screen displayed a message in text he could easily understand:

The flames were in form of round blazing balls, slicing through the air with intensity, and when hurled they came like barrages, but thank goodness there wasn’t any hit that seemed to make impact with the cliff holding the other end of the bridge.Enchantress reached where Jordan was and without a word she rendered a brutal striking slap across his face.Jordan flinched, his eyes immediately changed back to normal.“What the hell do you think you are doing, let’s get going now..” she yelled like an angry mother and Jordan, admitting the pain, refused to protest, he ran alongside her towards the other edge of the bridge. When Jordan was staring deep at the water, and when the spell caught up to him, he seemed to see faces, not only faces but fascinating things, like glowing creatures that seemed to be made from the heavens. Though it’s obvious that it was the spell hallucination catching up to him.The lion after seeing that the barrage was doing the job, began blasting fire balls dire

  • Crossing The Bridge

The attack cut through the air, but in those seconds the lion countered it with a blast of flames from its mouth. He scratched its claws on the ground, and lifted its torso, and in that moment, wild swirling flames began to contract inside his mouth, he targeted its mandible toward the python and began to spread out a large amount of flames. The python coiled its massive body on the ground as it dodged the brutal approach of the flames, and when it got any chance, he sprouted out its spikes, but the lion kept deflecting it with his flames, melting it in whole. When the python tried to do a sneak attack, the lion saw through its tricks, and in that moment, he leapt into the air and while in the air, he blasted out more flames, the flames were in a barrage of balls, giving little opening for the python to escape and the attack ended up impacting its body. This weakened the python and before the python could recover and stand, the lion landed on its body and grabbed the python’s head.Th

  • Two Giant Beast

The lion gazed at the python in a furious glare. The two forest beasts had been in a fight for over thousands of years, and facing themselves head on at the moment was no different from their previous fights, it’s just like they are continuing from where they had stopped.Jordan grabbed tight on his blade, as he also stared straight at the lion. The lion was as massive as the snake.“This fight is gonna be brutal, thank goodness I turned the python into my slave, if not how the hell can I be able to fight this thing head on.” Jordan thought inwardly, then gently turned his gaze to Enchantress, and after seeing she was focused he shifted his gaze back, and in that moment he recalled one thing, the exact words his system had told him which is, as far as his will power is strong and keeps pushing he will make the python evolve to its last form, which is the dragon.I have to keep my will power strong, no matter what, if I want to get over this. The thought crossed Jordan’s mind as he sta

  • Challange For Challange

  • With One Punch

The lady narrowed her eyes, with a sigh as countless complaints from Jordan rained down at her, and with a blast of some words she showed finished him up. “Shut the fuck up, you boy.”She then sighed again and continued. “Speaking of using my floating magic to make us float forward the river, as I had said before, that is fucking impossible, because anything of cultivation that’s recognized while crossing the river will be attracted to the river essence, and that will be our end, because along down that beautiful clear crystal water is death. Don’t forget, if you die here, you die wherever you are.”“Huh... Then what are you trying to say... You have mentioned earlier that the bridge you want to do instead guarantees safety, so what makes it justifiable that it won’t be our sudden death as well?” Jordan asked. The lady passed, then gently dropped her lifted hands, and so the wood that was floating mid-air gently dropped to the ground with a heavy thud. She turned to Jordan once more.

The situation was more to explain, and wide to understand. The most interesting part was that his taste was to slay as many as possible. The lady stared at Jordan as he ran his hand gently around his cheek while staring up to the sky. And just then her voice cut in. “This isn’t the time to think about what I had said. We have to get going before dark falls. As I said, this entire forest is a death sentence.”As she spoke those words, she continued walking towards the wood, that was piled up into the sky, and Jordan kept wondering what exactly the woods were going to be used for before he saw her chipping it down with blasts of flames so strong that one blast could cut down a tree. The forest was full of different creatures, deadlier than the python Jordan had faced, and at night came the main brutality of the things.Jordan had a lot of questions to ask, but at the moment, what he had to do was stick to the witch’s words. He stared in her direction as the worked together, and when she
