Jordan stared at the text displayed on the translucent, floating screen, he was completely baffled as to what it meant, he was quite sure that what he was seeing was unlike anything he had ever seen, even though he doesn't have the full memories of his previous life.

"What is this screen in front of me about? what is happening?" he wondered, his eyeballs moving frantically.

But there was not even a single clue as to what he was seeing neither an answer. No one could understand what he was trying to say, nor see the translucent screen with the written text displayed on his view—and every time he tried to speak, only the sound of a baby's gurgle emerged, meaningless and faint.

Host current state: zero percent.

Host current level: zero percent.

Host abilities: None

Host stored items: None

“Host is advised to adhere to the system rules, accept missions, and execute them successfully to level up. As host continues to gain more levels gems, more skills and cultivation abilities will be granted.”

Another message appeared on the translucent floating screen, and Jordan read it within his mind, completely lost as to what the text implies.

The words "cultivation" and "leveling" only deepened his confusion.

“Nothing is making sense to me right now, the screen, the word Leveling, the word cultivation, entirely everything I am seeing is getting my mind running insane,” Jordan thought to himself in frustration.

Just then, the translucent screen suddenly vanished from his view like a light that snapped blank.

“Where did it go, where is that thing floating in mid air?” Jordan wondered, still puzzled.

At that moment, the servants finished cleaning Jordan and were about to take him back to the room. The door swung open and the both servants walked in, only to notice Fiona desperately pressing Laura’s chest with tears gushing out from her eyes. Fiona's lips kept muttering words that the servants couldn't hear neither understood, but their instinct told them something was wrong.

“Wake up, Laura! No, you can’t die now. You’ve been looking for a child for more than twenty years, and now that you’ve finally had one, you're choosing to die? No, I won’t let you die!” Fiona spoke through clenched teeth, tears streaming down her cheeks like water gushing from a rock.

“Wait a minute… Everything is beginning to make sense to me now. Does this mean I’ve been reborn into another life? Because I can't really understand the woman over there and Me trapped in the mind of a child. no it's impossible, something like this can never happen, reborn into another life is impossible,” Jordan pondered in thought, and it was then he began having some flickers of memories inside his head, but he can't really tell who's memories it was.

“And that woman over there… She's not breathing. She’s dead. Does this mean the woman who gave birth to me has died?” Jordan added in thought, still watching dumbfounded through his wide brown eyes.

Jordan watched Fiona desperately knead Laura’s chest. The servants who were holding Jordan became speechless and her hands were already trembling.

“Go call King Julien. He needs to know about this!” Fiona ordered sharply.

The other servant, standing behind the one holding Jordan then nodded quickly and moved toward the door. Just as she was about to open it, the door slammed open, hitting her hard on the head and sending her sprawling to the ground, she held her forehead and at some point she saw stars.

“There’s no need to call me. I’m already here,” a deep voice announced, one with supriosity and royalty, his aura was different and unique making the servant bow their heads. Jordan tried to turn and look who it was, but he couldn’t. His tiny, newborn body refused to obey.

A tall man stepped into the room. The crown upon his head shimmered, and his long, regal cloak floated as if carried by an unseen wind. His very presence exuded a palpable aura that shook Jordan to the core, Jordan felt an energy, something he couldn't explain.

“Who is that man?” Jordan wondered. The sheer force of the man’s aura left him baffled.

“King Julien, your wife is dead,” Fiona announced, and king Julien stepped forward.

“Where is my son?” Julien asked sharply, ignoring Fiona's words.
