Jordan stared at the text displayed on the translucent, floating screen, he was completely baffled as to what it meant, he was quite sure that what he was seeing was unlike anything he had ever seen, even though he doesn't have the full memories of his previous life.

"What is this screen in front of me about? what is happening?" he wondered, his eyeballs moving frantically.

But there was not even a single clue as to what he was seeing neither an answer. No one could understand what he was trying to say, nor see the translucent screen with the written text displayed on his view—and every time he tried to speak, only the sound of a baby's gurgle emerged, meaningless and faint.

Host current state: zero percent.

Host current level: zero percent.

Host abilities: None

Host stored items: None

“Host is advised to adhere to the system rules, accept missions, and execute them successfully to level up. As host continues to gain more levels gems, more skills and cultivation abilities will be granted.”

Another message appeared on the translucent floating screen, and Jordan read it within his mind, completely lost as to what the text implies.

The words "cultivation" and "leveling" only deepened his confusion.

“Nothing is making sense to me right now, the screen, the word Leveling, the word cultivation, entirely everything I am seeing is getting my mind running insane,” Jordan thought to himself in frustration.

Just then, the translucent screen suddenly vanished from his view like a light that snapped blank.

“Where did it go, where is that thing floating in mid air?” Jordan wondered, still puzzled.

At that moment, the servants finished cleaning Jordan and were about to take him back to the room. The door swung open and the both servants walked in, only to notice Fiona desperately pressing Laura’s chest with tears gushing out from her eyes. Fiona's lips kept muttering words that the servants couldn't hear neither understood, but their instinct told them something was wrong.

“Wake up, Laura! No, you can’t die now. You’ve been looking for a child for more than twenty years, and now that you’ve finally had one, you're choosing to die? No, I won’t let you die!” Fiona spoke through clenched teeth, tears streaming down her cheeks like water gushing from a rock.

“Wait a minute… Everything is beginning to make sense to me now. Does this mean I’ve been reborn into another life? Because I can't really understand the woman over there and Me trapped in the mind of a child. no it's impossible, something like this can never happen, reborn into another life is impossible,” Jordan pondered in thought, and it was then he began having some flickers of memories inside his head, but he can't really tell who's memories it was.

“And that woman over there… She's not breathing. She’s dead. Does this mean the woman who gave birth to me has died?” Jordan added in thought, still watching dumbfounded through his wide brown eyes.

Jordan watched Fiona desperately knead Laura’s chest. The servants who were holding Jordan became speechless and her hands were already trembling.

“Go call King Julien. He needs to know about this!” Fiona ordered sharply.

The other servant, standing behind the one holding Jordan then nodded quickly and moved toward the door. Just as she was about to open it, the door slammed open, hitting her hard on the head and sending her sprawling to the ground, she held her forehead and at some point she saw stars.

“There’s no need to call me. I’m already here,” a deep voice announced, one with supriosity and royalty, his aura was different and unique making the servant bow their heads. Jordan tried to turn and look who it was, but he couldn’t. His tiny, newborn body refused to obey.

A tall man stepped into the room. The crown upon his head shimmered, and his long, regal cloak floated as if carried by an unseen wind. His very presence exuded a palpable aura that shook Jordan to the core, Jordan felt an energy, something he couldn't explain.

“Who is that man?” Jordan wondered. The sheer force of the man’s aura left him baffled.

“King Julien, your wife is dead,” Fiona announced, and king Julien stepped forward.

“Where is my son?” Julien asked sharply, ignoring Fiona's words.

They were plenty, more than two hundred, as though they were going to fight a war. Thus, all this while, Lucia never knew how strong Jordan was; she only knew of him being a good person. The specific part where they were was far from the main kingdom, so even though they want to fight, the kingdom would be too far to be affected. Finally the armies were standing tall in front of them. They created a long stretching line, making escape impossible. Their hands

They were staring at each other and both were angry. On the other hand, Mato and Sage were just standing; they all understood what was going on and the best way to survive it was if they stayed together."Where could that foolish boy have gone to?" Sage thought inwardly, his eyes darting around. And just then, the batch of guards which Michelle had sent to go check on Jordan throughout the city returned. But their faces weren't showing anything near good news that they had seen him.One of them spoke. "Sorry boss, but we can't find him anywhere.""What do you mean you can't find him anywhere? What sort of rubbish is that?" Michelle raged at the men. And just then, Canyon’s men could be seen running past them, desperately trying to reach the border where the water gate could be opened. Thus, Michelle doesn't know what was happening yet, and this curiosity forced her to ask, "What is happening?"She was facing the guards when she asked, and one of the guards replied, "They are looking f

  • Making Things Visible

Canyon's eyes blazed with rage and the next thing his eye darted to was the old woman who was already on the ground, almost dying. He gripped her by the shirt then dragged her up; there he pinned her on the wall and stared down into her eyes as he asked darkly and coldly, "Where the hell is she? This time I'm gonna kill you."The woman didn't say anything; her eyes were closed, already passed out. Canyon saw her of no use again and killing her won't make any difference. With that, he narrowed his eyes and threw her like a rag doll to the ground."Fuck, all this was a waste of time!" Canyon gritted his teeth with a loud shout, and just then one of his guards came into the living room to inform him about something. But just before the man could talk, he sent spikes of sharp ice blasting through his throat, and in that instant the man fell dead. The rest of the guards' eyes instantly widened with disbelief. They didn't expect that to happen all of a sudden, though they knew how brutal Ca

  • Having Being Said

The old lady’s fists clenched even more. If it was her in her pride, she could have snapped this bastard's neck, but now that she is in her 80s, she feels like she wouldn't be strong enough to do such strong feats anymore. But if things get to their worst, she doesn't mind teaching this stubborn brat the lesson of his life.Canyon sniffed the air, then he lowered his gaze down before turning to the old lady again. "I'm not going to repeat myself. Where is my bride?"The old woman had taken too much of the insult, and with that, she is not going to let things slide. With gritted teeth, she murmured, "This is the last warning I will be giving you. You better back down while you have the chance, or else."Canyon paused, a sneer carving onto his lips. "So who is going to make me back down? You? In your prime, you? You are nothing more than a weak lady now, so you better back down, or I will help make your death easy."Canyon had so much courage that he dared face a well-recognized woman i

  • The Brutality Of A Fool

Jordan was offered a seat and a meal to eat. He stared at the meal, his spoon spinning on the plate. Before him was Lucia; she seemed relaxed and was eating. In front of Jordan was Lucia’s grandmother; she was just staring straight at him.The woman was very old. She had white eyelashes and eyelids, and she had wrinkled skin with her eyes a little bit closed like she couldn't see properly."So what exactly has brought you here, Lucia?" the old woman was staring straight at Lucia as she asked. Lucia sighed, "Grandma, it's father again. He wanted me to marry that bastard of a person."Thus, her grandmother had already figured it was part of the reason she had come, and at the same time she knew if her father found out about what she did—escaping from her matrimonial room—it would be a crime, and he won't take it easily on her.The old woman took a deep breath. "You know, your father will send guards here because here would be the last place he will suspect you to be, so I don't guarante
