Captured trespasser

“Kid, you can fly right,” Lucifer asked.

“Yes” Damian replied, as Lucifer posed the question he attempted to summon his wings but to his surprise he failed, he suddenly remembered the system message indicating he was no longer an Angel.

‘Maybe I really am no longer Angel’ Damian thought to himself.

“Good, come on, let's go” Lucifer said.

“I can’t believe I didn’t think this through” Damian said as another thought came up, he proceeded to sit in the sand facing the beautiful ocean, he was finally observing his surroundings, the waves were gently crawling towards the shore drenching the sand, the rhythmic sound produced by it’s movement were comforting, the ocean appeared to be sparkling as the rays of the setting sun reflected upon it, many thoughts flowed through Damian’s mind on how far he had gone and the mistakes he had made.

“Think of what?” Lucifer questioned from the inside confused.

“Coming here, to this world without any resources at all” Damian answered Lucifer’s question, chuckling to himself he didn’t even have a place he could rest, he wondered how things were going to turn out for himself.

“During my time when I was a god…”

“Good thing you used the right words” Damian cut Lucifer’s sentence short.

“Tch! When the gods brought the matrix and the humans became advanced there were people who called themselves travellers or adventurers” Lucifer said.

“So” Damian said a single word sounding uninterested with what Lucifer had just said, it mattered very little to him.

“The adventurers made their income by going around different planets on missions or taking up quests set up by others for a given price I’m unaware whether such concepts still exists but it’s a start, plus who knows where the so called ‘Immortal god’ hid my body parts” Lucifer said raising his voice in anger around the last part.

‘Hmm’ Damian thought to himself he should have known Lucifer still had his interest in mind, he wondered where to head off to or the next step to take from where he was.

“You hear that?” Lucifer suddenly asked.

“Hear what?” Damian asked as he stood up and tried to listen attentively but he couldn’t pick up any strange sound only the crashing sound of the ocean waves resounded in his ears, annoyed that maybe Lucifer was playing a joke he ignored him and continued on his thoughts, the Angel’s have an organization on earth he could simply go there for resources with his title but then he would be easily found.

“Beeping sounds” Lucifer said this time with a tone of urgency “Leave this area at once” Lucifer alerted.

“Just stay silent and don’t disturb…” before Damian could finish a small explosion went off as his vision suddenly turned white and ringing sounds began to play out in his ears.

The next moment  he regained his sight and hearing he was in a strange white space, not a single person or thing could be seen, it was difficult to tell where exactly the space was since everywhere appeared the same.

“Where is this place?” Damian said placing his hand on his head he was feeling a slight headache.

“You’re a strange one kid” Lucifer said annoyed he had given a warning.

A few moments later a holographic projection of a man in an all black uniform appeared.

“Where…” Damian was about to ask the figure.

“Who are you?” the man in black asked, cutting Damian’s words short.

“Kid, you must be insane to think you hold the cards after being abducted” Lucifer said laughing at Damian from the inside while a frustrated look could be seen on Damian’s face as much as he was interested in the Demon king’s history he never expected the anything like this as soon as he came to the humans world

“I ask again who are you…we’ve crosschecked our database and you link to no one of importance… and for you to teleport directly next to our base with a vast amount of energy can consider you a threat and also a trespasser” the figure said to Damian, his tone more serious.

‘Next to their territory, seems Lucifer teleported to the wrong place’ Damian cursed internally before eventually letting out a sigh even on the Angel island trespassing was a great offence not even one could go to the castle.

A couple of moments passed by with no one saying anything “I don’t have time to waste on you, when you are willing to, you will speak it’s not like you’re getting out of here” the figure suddenly said it’s tone appearing frustrated before immediately disappearing just the way it appeared.

“Kid let’s go” Lucifer voiced out, he seemed to be uninterested in remaining there.

“No, not yet I’ll like to see what happens next” Damian said wondering whether he could gather information or at least something on where he was.

“Fine then, just don’t call for help later on” Lucifer replied annoyed before going silent.

[Hell Flames – Level 1]

Damian called out the ‘attributes’ option in his mind and was shocked with what he saw. It appeared even his angel abilities were gone, he tried activating some of his skills. ‘ They still work, at least some of them’ he had a confused look on his face about what was happening.

“Are you ready to speak on information about yourself” a figure appeared in the room and asked, Damian had no idea how long had gone by, days, maybe weeks, the only thing that helped him in his estimation were the few visits by other officials bringing a tray of food, but with the figure in front of him now he recalled it was the same figure that appeared the last time.

“I actually expected a more frequent visit, how long had it been?” Damian asked, more concerned with how long he had been there.

“ It seems you have no answer, we shall go on straight to the test” the figure said disappearing again just as quick as he appeared he seemed to have expected different words from Damian.

“No wait” Damian wanted to call out but the figure was already gone.

“Prisoner 123 battle against prisoner 122 begins in two minutes” a robotic voice echoed.

In a  spacious dark room multiple screens could be seen all around with footages of different people in different white spaces multiple officials sat in front of different screens monitoring the activities, two figures stood behind them all staring at the screen with the tag '123’ at the bottom right corner, In it a boy with yellow hair and touched of read around could be seen.

“Boss are you sure this kid stands a chance, I mean we haven’t seen him use  any ability unlike the others who retaliate before giving up” one of the two voiced out with a hint of pity 

“Sometimes you have to push the prey to the predator to know what the prey can do,” the one referred to as ‘Boss’ replied.

“But…” 

“And if the prey doesn’t have what it takes…it becomes food” the boss interrupted his subordinate.
