These three were the results of Ye Chen and Wang Erbao's journey of exorcising demons and rescuing people.

The two had killed eight Spirit-level Wraith Demons and rescued more than a dozen people, although most were scared out of their wits.

Actually, some of the students had combat strengths not far from Ye Chen's, possessing the ability to fight Spirit-level Wraith Demons.

Spirit Rank represented the lowest level among Demons, equivalent to Martial Apprentices of the Human Race, serving similarly as cannon fodder in battlefields.

However, these greenhouse flowers had only learned about the cruelty of Demons from textbooks; encountering them in person left them panicked.

As a result, they were easily defeated by the Wraith Demons.

Only these three behind them, who were of unyielding talent, had the courage to come forward and lend a hand.

"One, two, three, four, five, and two even bigger ones, dealing with a teacher.

"This fight seems tough...

"Why are you all looking at me like that, with such weird expressions?"

Ye Chen asked with a puzzled face, looking at the ghostly-staring Wang Erbao and the others.

The four looked at each other, and Wang Erbao asked softly:

Ye Chen corrected first, then vaguely added, "I don't know, maybe, it's a special talent?"

Wang Erbao shrugged, and seeing that Ye Chen was unwilling to explain, he whispered, "What's our next move?"

Ye Chen focused intently to observe the situation ahead, and said with a gesture of his hand, "Let me look a bit more, think a bit more!"

In the square, five Spirit Rank Wraith Demons were supervising and suppressing over ten students crying and wailing as hostages.

Not far away, two Foundation Establishment teachers were incessantly entangled in a fierce battle with two even more robust Wraith Demons, each towering over four meters tall!

Whenever the teachers were about to inflict damage on their opponents, the Wraith Demons guarding the hostages would grab a student.

Extending their claws and placing them on the students' necks, they forced them to cry out, distracting the teachers in the field.

One of the teachers seemed oblivious to this, but the other frequently glanced towards the students, leading to a distracted and deteriorating stance.

What Ye Chen intended to do was to sneak up with the four including Wang Erbao.

They would suddenly attack and kill the five lesser Wraith Demons and free the students.

Then, they wouldn't need to risk any further, just surround the two bigger Wraith Demons and ambush them when the opportunity arose.

Just wait for the teachers to finish them off.

'The plan is set!' Ye Chen made up his mind and after whispering among themselves, they split up to execute the plan.

Ye Chen waited until the five Wraith Demons' attention was drawn by the two teachers.

With a flash, he hid behind a statue near the trapped students.

The other four each silently entered the area from different directions, not needing any signals.

The moment Ye Chen appeared, he saw one of the hostages, a student, looking at him with a face full of surprise!

Ye Chen was startled, and quickly before the hostage could make a sound, he placed his finger to his lips, signaling for silence.

The hostage hesitated, then slowly nodded, forcefully suppressing the joy on his face.

Ye Chen sighed in relief, waited for another gap in the attention, then suddenly sprang from behind the statue, aiming for the next spot.

But just as he was about to reach his intended position, the hostage bit his lip, face contorted in ferocity, and suddenly stood up!

Yelling "Help! Help! Save me!" he sprinted out of the crowd and rapidly towards Ye Chen!

The five lesser Wraith Demons were startled, immediately spotting Ye Chen, with two of them roaring and charging towards him!

The remaining three Wraith Demons immediately extended their claws, forcing the rest of the students to huddle together.

...

"Damn it!"

Ye Chen was almost spitting blood from anger!
