The whole audience in the stadium were still giving out their passionate enthusiastic screams until Nakamura sensei worked out into the arena ground with a mic.

[Welcome to Stratton Dojo Representative tournament]

The whole audience kept giving out more screams at the stadium until Nakamura sensei smiled and spoke again.

[ As you all know the purpose of this tournament is to pick out our one and only Representative out of our Powered Humans students. So how about we give a round of applause for our very own students.]

Clap clap clap...

The whole audience in the stadium clapped immediately as they showed all their enthusiastic support.

[So I’m going to announce how this tournament goes so please fighters listen carefully]

Now the noise of the whole arena seemed to had subsided a bit as Nakamura sensei was about announcing the procedure for the tournament.

[Okay the Representative tournament is made up of three rounds. The internal threat, the external threat and the fearful threat.

 1. The internal threat is the first round where all the students fight their opponent wearing the same Gi colors as them. The four best winners from each of the three Gi colors moves to the next round in other words we want four red Gi students, four blue Gi students and four white Gi students going to the next round which is..

 2.  The external threat. This is where all the four winners from the different colored Gi ranks gets to fight the other ranks. Only the two of the best Winners will go to the next round.

 3. The fearful threat. This called the fearful threat because all the good things in this tournament lies after this round and you have to beat your worst fear which is your opponent in order to get these good stuffs. The winner among the two finalists will be our Dojo Representative in Demons Battle.

But you see the thing is...There’s been a change of plans]

“Huh?”

“Oh shit”

“Even in this moment he’s..”

“What’s going on?” Gabriel inquired from Sora. It turns out there was a distress among the lined-up students in the middle of the arena Ground after hearing Nakamura Sensei last statement.

“Nakamura sensei said there’s a change of plans. Nothing good ever comes out when he’s say those words. In other words the gameplay we were expecting before...

[The expected gameplay is not going to happen! There would be a new gameplay and  a new rule!]

“A new gameplay?”

“We are all done for”

Most of the powered humans students were reacting in distress. They were all feeling intense anxiety as they all heard Nakamura sensei’s words.

“Nakamura sensei is one tricky teacher when it comes to his exams. He always try to put us in an extreme situation where we are at our limits. His exams are never easy. So brace yourself Gabriel.  From here henceforth it’s boom boom chao “

Sora said as he alerted Gabriel of the situation.

[Let me rephrase it. We are doing a Double man match up battle. This is how it’s going to be. We have a total of fourteen white Gi students, six blue Gi students and ten red Gi students. We are going break all of you to a different teams made up of two fighters.]

‘Huh team work. I guess that’s not so bad’ Gabriel concluded in his mind as he heard Nakamura sensei.

[ Each Teams are to fight each other. The last Team standing wins.]

“Team work? Oh wow that’s better”

“That makes it more easy”

[Hahahaha... I guess you’re all thinking that it’s gonna be easy now but you’re all mistaking... ]

“Huh” 

[Yes it’s a two man team but it’s not that easy. The fight time between the two opposing team is fifteen minutes but if a team member gets knocked out before that time, a time count of four minutes start. The team having only one man left needs to defeat the other team before that four minutes runs out. If that four minutes runs out for that team left with only one man, that one man team loses.]

“Now I see. Nakamura sensei can be a devil sometimes.”  Sora said as he chuckled in a sarcastic manner.

“Normally a two man team will be advantageous but the consequences that comes with losing a team member makes this team play more harder. You don’t have to only look out for yourself but you have to look out for your team member as well” Gabriel concluded

“I can see you get it too. Like I said nothing good ever comes out when Nakamura sensei sounds like this. So now It’s either you look out for your team mate while fighting together or you defeat the opposing team by yourself in a matter of four minutes”

[Alright you guys all understand now. How about you see the list of all the teams.] Nakamura sensei gave a smile as the screen displayed the teams. He was really enjoying the sudden change of atmosphere for the Students right now.

Immediately the listed teams were displayed in the arena big screen.

“Wow we’re in the same team!” Sora said in an enthusiastic manner while wrapping his arms around Gabriel.

“ Huh yeah.”

‘I see Team A is Daniel’s team’ Gabriel pondered as he recorded Daniel’s team in his mind. It wasn’t just him that was wary of Daniel’s team right now, all the other students were wary of Team A.

“Oh shit Daniel is in team A. I really hope I don’t fight against Team A.”

“Yeah that would be like a big loss”

“If I’m going to fight them let it be later. I don’t  want to meet him in the very beginning of the tournament”

All the students muttered in distress as they became wary of team A.

[Now that we’ve shown the individual teams. Let me show tournament pattern then.]

“Huh Daniel’s team is fighting first.”

“Team K are totally screwed.”

“How about Team M?”

“Team K isn’t going to survive against Daniel so they are screwed too.”

Mutterings from different people was heard from the whole stadium as they gossiped about the current situation.

[ Alright we will begin the tournament with the first fight. Team A vs Team K. Your fight starts in two minutes! ]

The rest of the powered humans students climbed up the stadium as they took their seats. They were all seating in a reserved seating spot in the stadium.

There were four students currently remaining in the arena Ground.

 They were Team A and Team K members.

“Hey Daniel?”

“Huh?”

“ I know you’re strong but we’re not planing on  backing down without a fight. We’re going to give you everything we’ve got!” A Boy in a Red Gym outfit said to Daniel in a challenging manner.

Even if the boy was the one throwing a challenge towards Daniel, it was very obvious that he was the weaker person among both of them.  He was already trembling before Daniel.

“Huh? Wow I like your spirit Kelly. For that reason I’m gonna give you everything I have too at least to pay respect to my fellow red Gi student.” Daniel said with a Grin.

The two teams both walked a distance away from each other in the arena ground as they stopped and turned around. 

They were already staring at each other with aggressive instinct.

“Hey Daisuke right?”

“Ye..ah” The opponent of Daniel answered him. Daniel’s opponent was the guy Sora fought against during the practice match.

“What’s your ability?”

“It’s flames”

“That’s very nice which means you can do ranged attacks too.”

“Yeah”

“Okay all you have to do is back me up. Leave the whole offense to me.”

‘Huh can he really take the whole offense? Well I’ll just have to follow him. After all he’s the best student in the he powered human section’

“Okay!” Daisuke answered Daniel in an obedient manner.

[Alright are you ready?]

Immediately the commentator’s voice was heard again shiver went through the whole body of the team K fighters as they assumed their fighting stances.

[Start!!!]

*Swish*

Immediately the start signal was given the red Gi Students appeared in front of Daisuke.

“What the hell. He’s fast” Gabriel commented from his seat while watching the fight with total focus.

Daisuke was in shock as he immediately saw Kelly in front of him. He wanted to counteract Kelly’s incoming attack but it was already too late. Before he knew it...

*Bam*

Immediately a sound was heard. Kelly flew upwards out of the fighting ground as hit the wall.

“Shit. How was he able to-“ 

Kelly words didn’t come out completely due to the pain he felt when he collided with the wall.

“It’s so painful. I’m not sure I can move anymore. The white Gi kid won’t be okay. I have to-

*Bam*

“Kwaaak”

Kelly turned his eyes towards his right side to see his white Gi teammate falling to the ground. The white Gi kid was already unconscious.

“Hey Kelly! There’s one flaw to this Double Man match up. Each team would go for the opposite team weakest member...So predicting your movements wasn’t hard.” Daniel said with a Grin on his face.

‘Shit I can’t lose now. The tournament is only just beginning. Come on get up! Get up!’ The red Gi student who was lying down on the ground tried to will himself to stand up but he only felt his consciousness fading away slowly until..

[We have a Winner!!!]

‘Shit!’ Kelly screamed in his mind as his consciousness finally faded away. Kelly fainted with a displeased look on his face. He was conscious enough to hear the announcement of his loss before he fainted.

[Team A wins!!!] 

 The whole crowd screamed at the announcement of Team A flawless victory.

Daniel stood tall and proud in the arena ground as he heard the enthusiastic scream of the Audience.

‘He took out the whole Team k in less than one minute. Even when Team K also had a red Gi student in it.’ Gabriel was shocked at how fast the fight came to an end.

‘Even if him and the other red Gi student from Team K were of the same rank, it was clear that there was a very large gap in power between them.’

‘So this is Daniel Ross. Now I understand why no one wants him as an opponent...’

‘He really is terrifying’
