Chapter 8

"What system is my next job? Is there no more work?" asked Othniel.

[ Your next job mission is quite difficult! You must have a clean heart and an unruffled attitude. ]

Then the writing for the job Othniel was about to accept appeared.

"Destroy the Wo Lang Sect?" Othniel was immediately surprised, of course, as the Wo Lang Sect was the oldest and most feared sect by the others.

"Is there a problem with that Sect? Why would the system tell me to destroy the Wo Lang Sect? There must be something hidden," Othniel said. Othniel decided to accept, because even if she refused, there would be risks.

"I must first get to know the leader of the Wo Lang Sect," she continued.

Othniel then picked up her cell phone. He started searching the internet, but there was no complete data on the internet. 

"It turns out that the leader of the sect is very secretive about his identity. The information only says that the leader and founder of the Wo Lang Sect is Luae Can. But the address or other identities are hidden." Othniel sighed. Who else should he find out through?

"I can't possibly choose a private secret, since I don't even know the Sakte leader yet," he continued in a low voice.

"I will choose personal data and try to persuade Abelard to become a king." After selecting the personal data option, soon the system monitor screen displayed the personal data of the Wo Lang Sect leader.

Othniel read carefully and tried to understand every word that came out of the system.

"He lives in the Sylus Aemru Mountains? And has 15 wives?" asked Othniel in surprise. Othniel knew where the Sylus Aemru Mountains were; it was located in the country of Maldev, but the place was very remote.

As far as Othniel knew, the mountain was uninhabited, but it was inhabited by Luae Can and his wives. Luae Can had three children from among his 15 wives. Two boys and one girl.

Othniel had finished reading all of Luae Can's personal data. Then the system screen reactivated, saying that if he failed to make Abelard the King, then he would get a disgusting skin disease.

"Oh my! The work of the system does not allow me to fail," said Othniel frustratedly.

"But if I had chosen the 10,000,000$ from the system, it would have been taken away by Sehena if Sehena had known I had money. Never mind! I can't complain; I must be able to complete one job after another from the system." Othniel intended to go to Abelard's house, but it seemed that Abelard was already sleeping because it was too late. Othniel did not want to disturb Abelard and his family.

"After leaving the religious court, I'll go straight to Abelard's house tomorrow," said Othniel.

Elsewhere.

James and Sehena were together at the nightclub; they were replying about Othniel.

"So the asshole who helped Elizabeth was Othniel? Your useless husband," James growled. 

"That's right. I didn't realize that Othniel was an expert in traditional medical science inherited from his grandfather. If I had realized earlier, I would have forced him to help you. He would have always obeyed my orders, but now he's so big-headed," Sehena said with an annoyed look on her face.

"I suspect that Othniel killed King Felix because he knew that King Felix was your father," she continued.

"If it was your husband who killed my father, I would have killed him myself!" James looked furious. His hands were clenched into fists until his fingernails turned white.

"Othniel is very good at making poisons and antidotes. You know that King Felix died from poison," said Sehena.

"Bastard!" shouted James.

"I have to kill him, Sehena!" Sehena tried to calm James down by rubbing his back.

"Calm down, dear; we can't kill Othniel right away now that Elizabeth is protecting him. We have to find an interesting plan to kill Othniel slowly," Sehena said.

"It can't be like that, Sehena! I'm not a patient person. He killed my family," James snapped.

"I will have some of my men kill Othniel," he continued.

"But now I don't know where Othniel lives. He doesn't live at home anymore," said Sehena.

"Tomorrow I'm going to court to divorce Othniel; you can have your men kidnap Othniel, then kill him." James smiled when he heard Sehena's suggestion; he was not wrong to choose Sehena as his girlfriend.

James then pulled Sehena to sit on his lap and hugged Sehena's body.

"Thank you for always being reliable," said James as he kissed Sehena's lips.

"Of course I have to be reliable," she said as she put her arms around James' neck.

"Let's go to our room," said James as he carried Sehena's body to the VIP Club room. 

Othniel couldn't continue sleeping; he was still thinking about whether his work mission would succeed. This time Othniel thought it was very difficult.

"I was only given time by the system for three days? If I fail to make Abelard the King, I will get a disgusting skin disease for 7 months. Can Elizabeth help me?" muttered Othniel.

The next morning, Othniel did not go to court; he decided to go to Abelard's house. He found out that Abelard was now working as a fishmonger in the market.

"Excuse me, can we talk for a while?" asked Othniel with a pleading look.

"Othniel!" Abelard approached Othniel; they then chatted in a fairly quiet place. Abelard left his wares with his close friend first.

"I was very worried when I heard the news of Felix's death; did you kill him?" asked Abelard, to which Othniel nodded.

"And I came to you to ask you to replace Felix," said Othniel.

"I thank you in advance for helping me avenge Felix, but I can't be king. I am very comfortable living like this with my little family," Abelard replied.

"But your son will be happy when he finds out who you really are, as will your wife." Abelard chuckled softly, then patted Othniel on the back.

"You're wrong Othniel, it was my wife who asked that we remain ordinary people. She doesn't want to make more enemies while living in the palace as a queen," Abelard explained. 

"So your wife already knew?" asked Othniel. 

"I told her when I heard of Felix's death; even when I intended to invite her to the palace, she refused firmly. Moreover, you know that Felix had two wives," said Abelard with a chuckle.

"What about this? Will I fail to persuade Abelard?" Othniel said to himself.

"If I tell Elizabeth who you really are? Surely Elizabeth will support you. Please do me a favor and become the King of this country," said Othniel while pleading.

"I can't, Othniel! Many people know that I'm just a fishmonger and suddenly become king. That would make the people revolt, and what about Felix's two wives and their children? They might not accept it either," Abelard refused.

"My life is already quiet with my small family; I don't want anyone to disturb my family. I learned from my past; when I obeyed my parents' wishes to become king, I got a disaster and made my wife and son miserable," Abelard explained while raising his voice.

"I must get back to work Othniel," he continued. Abelard then left, leaving Othniel, who was still looking pensive.

"Should I tell Abelard about the system?" said Othniel in a low voice.
