Chapter 9

[You cannot tell anyone about the system. Or you will lose what you have gained. ]

"Does that mean I can't tell Albert about the system?" Othniel ruffled his hair. He was already too dizzy to think of a way to get Albert to agree to become King.

For 3 days, Othniel had always failed to persuade Abelard. So inevitably, Othniel had to accept the risks of the system.

"Where is your husband, Sehena? Did you guys actually get divorced or not?" asked James irritably.

"Did Othniel deliberately want to play me?" Sehena growled.

"He asked for a divorce from me himself," she continued.

"It's useless! He won't come. Let's just go," said James.

They finally left because Othniel didn't come.

Othniel had accepted his current situation; he had to wait patiently for 7 months to cure his skin disease.

Othniel's cell phone rang. Othniel looked at who had contacted her.

"Sehena? Gosh, I forgot. I promised to divorce her, but I just didn't come. She must be angry and misunderstand me," Othniel said. Othniel decided to take Sehena's call.

"Sehena says I'm a coward? And thinks I still love her?" said Othniel with a chuckle.

"I told her the truth—that I was sick. But she still doesn't believe me," she continued.

Othniel decided to come to the religious court at Sehena's request. Othniel wore a jacket, hat, and mask to cover his skin disease. If people knew about Othniel's illness, they would be disgusted.

"Teleportation system." A few seconds later, Othniel was already at the religious court. Othniel just went straight inside.

Actually, James and Sehena had ordered their men to block Othniel from all sides. From the direction leading to the court. James told them to become traffic police so that they could spot Othniel.

"Shit! Why do my men say that for two hours, your useless husband hasn't arrived? Did you tell him to come to the court now?" James was very annoyed.

"I told him to come to the religious court now, and he agreed to come," Sehena explained.

Suddenly Sehena's cell phone rang. She read the message from Othniel. Othniel said that they were officially divorced. Othniel also sent a document of their divorce papers.

"Othniel can divorce me so easily? And the religious court immediately agreed without any process. Did Othniel pay a lot of money?" Sehena said to herself. Of course, Sehena did not accept Othniel's actions. She wanted Othniel to always be under her control.

"Look, Othniel is already in court. He has managed to divorce me. He must have used Elizabeth's money." Sehena showed the evidence that Othniel sent to James.

"Are my men so incompetent that this man can get away with it?" James growled.

"You just calm down; I already have other plans. You just wait for good news from me," said Sehena, trying to calm James down.

"Alright. I'll wait for your good news," said James with a small smile.

Othniel was forced to accept Sehena's party invitation. Othniel really didn't want to come to James and Sehena's engagement ceremony, but if he didn't come, Sehena would definitely misunderstand and think that he still had feelings for Sehena.

"Elizabeth," called Othniel. Othniel looked at Elizabeth, who was sitting alone without enjoying the party.

"Mr. Niel?" asked Elizabeth.

"Yes, I am." Othniel smiled a little; apparently Elizabeth still understood him. Even though Othniel was very private. Othniel did not wear formal clothing such as a suit; Othniel certainly used a hooded jacket as well as a mask and sunglasses. Othniel didn't care what other people said about his appearance.

"Mr. Niel came to James' engagement ceremony?" Elizabeth looked closely at Othniel, looking at Othniel's appearance, which was quite strange because Othniel was not usually covered like this.

"Is Mr. Niel alright?" she asked.

"I'm sick, so I'm wearing clothes like this. I don't want the others to catch it," Othniel replied.

"If Mr. Niel is sick, why come to this party?" Elizabeth was worried.

"Just a cold," Othniel said with a chuckle.

"Sehena is my ex-wife after all. If I don't come, it will lead to misunderstandings," he continued, which made Elizabeth surprised.

"Sehena is your ex-wife?" Othniel only replied by nodding his head.

Othniel and Elizabeth seemed to be enjoying their conversation. Elizabeth actually did not expect that Sehena was Othniel's ex-wife.

The engagement ceremony had already begun. Sehena and James were already on stage. Neither Elizabeth nor Othniel paid any attention to them.

"Here before me, Sehena apologizes. To my ex-husband who is here, thank you for coming to my engagement ceremony. I want to tell you all that my ex-husband was the one who killed King Felix with poison. He was unhappy that I chose James over him." Elizabeth immediately stopped Sehena's words.

"What do you mean, Sehena?" snapped Elizabeth.

"Don't just accuse someone," she continued.

"I'm not making accusations! My ex-husband is an expert in making poisons and antidotes," Sehena replied.

"Guards, arrest that man!" shouted James. Some of James' men immediately attacked Othniel; Othniel, of course, immediately fought back. But Othniel's hood and mask fell off.

"Oh my, how disgusting." The people at the party exclaimed.

"No wonder Sehena prefers young Master James," someone said. Some even vomited when they saw Othniel's skin disease.

"Is he Mr. Niel? Why would he be that disgusting?" Elizabeth said in a low voice.

"I will prove to you, Elizabeth, that it was not me who killed Father, but that lowly man!" Elizabeth was silent. She still couldn't believe what had happened.

Othniel managed to defeat James' men and left using the power of teleportation.

"Sehena, James! You will pay for everything," Othniel growled.
