Ethan walked out of the hotel, he didn’t know why he almost lost his control.
The cold wind cooled him down, he took out his phone and first added Sierra to his blacklist—he didn't want that woman bothering him anymore.
Then, he made another call.
"Elsa, it's me."
The person on the other end was Nova Corporation's CEO, Elsa Logan!
She was someone everyone in the city wanted to curry favor with. Rumor had it that the mysterious owner of Nova Corporation was extremely low-profile, so all company decisions were made by Elsa.
Therefore, anyone who maintained a good relationship with her had no shortage of opportunities to get rich.
However, at this moment, the high and mighty female CEO spoke to Ethan in an extremely respectful tone.
"Boss, is there anything you need me to do?"
Ethan replied casually, "There's a business banquet tomorrow, right? Remove Sierra's company from the guest list. And from now on, don't invite them to any company events again. She's no longer our business partner."
"Our new partner is Morgan Tech. Their CEO is Alice Morgan, you can inform her about this."
Elsa was momentarily stunned. She knew Sierra was the boss's wife, so now...
But as a competent subordinate, she never questioned the boss's private affairs. She respectfully replied, "Understood, boss. Will you be attending tomorrow?"
Ethan thought for a moment and answered, "Yes."
"As a VIP, as usual?" Elsa asked.
Ethan fell silent. In the past, he rarely attended Nova events, and even when he did, it was only as a VIP. But now, perhaps it was time to step into the spotlight.
"Boss?" Elsa called again after a few seconds of silence on the line.
"Just say that the owner of Nova Corporation will be present tomorrow," Ethan said calmly, but to Elsa, this was explosive news.
"Boss… are you planning to reveal your identity?" she asked in shock.
"I haven't made a final decision yet. Announce it this way for now. I'll decide tomorrow," Ethan said and hung up.
Ethan had just gotten into a taxi, planning to rest at a hotel for the night, when he received a call from Alice.
"Ethan!! Was it you who helped me? Just now, Nova's CEO Elsa personally called me and invited me to attend tomorrow's banquet! She said Morgan Tech will be the new business partner!"
Alice was so excited that she completely forgot she was supposed to be pretending to be drunk. She pressed Ethan eagerly, because the only one who could have helped her was him.
Ethan showed a faint smile. Alice was a lively and cheerful girl—her happiness was contagious.
"For Samantha's sake, I'll help you this once," Ethan said with a smile.
"Then can you go to the banquet with me tomorrow? Please!" Alice said.
Ethan had already planned to attend the banquet, so he agreed without hesitation.
Alice was overjoyed. After hanging up the phone, she rolled around on the bed in excitement—she probably wouldn't be able to sleep tonight.

The next day, at the Nova Corporation banquet venue, Alice arrived early in a dazzling gown, anxiously waiting at the entrance for Ethan.
"Good evening, Alice!"
The sudden voice startled her. She turned around and saw Ethan.
He was dressed in a perfectly tailored suit, looking incredibly handsome. Alice's cheeks turned slightly red.
However, before the two could exchange more than a few words, an annoying voice suddenly interrupted.
"Ethan? You followed me all the way here? I knew you weren't over me yet!"
Ethan frowned and turned around. Sure enough, it was Sierra.
Clinging to her arm was a slick, flashy man—clearly her lover and Nova Corporation's manager, Marcus.
Seeing Sierra, Ethan said with disdain, "Where did this annoying pest come from? Totally ruined my good mood for the day."
"You!" Sierra was furious, but she didn't dare cause a scene here. Instead, she growled under her breath, "Don't tell me you're actually here for Nova's banquet!"
At that moment, Marcus chuckled. "Darling, maybe your trash ex-husband came to apply for a waiter job!"
"You're probably right. Trash like him is only fit for that kind of low-end work," Sierra mocked with a sneer.
Their words infuriated Alice. Displeased, she said coldly, "Why do I hear dogs barking at such an upscale venue?"
"What did you say?!" Sierra snapped angrily. She turned to see who it was—and was shocked to find it was her rival, Alice.
"Well, if it isn't the loser Alice. I heard your family's marrying you off to Carl. Guess you've finally managed to latch onto a rich man! What, now you're trying to seduce someone else here?" Sierra mocked.
She spoke so confidently because for the past few years, she had consistently outperformed Morgan Tech in the business world.
But Alice didn't get angry. Instead, she smiled and gracefully wrapped her arm around Ethan's.
"I'm here with my date," she said calmly. "We're attending Nova Corporation's banquet together."

Elsa went silent. “…Galaxy?” she whispered. “What is that?” Ethan’s voice stayed calm. “Galaxy,” he said, “is the true power. The real base. The main body behind everything.” Elsa felt her breath shake. “I… I have never heard of it,” she said softly. “What is the Galaxy Consortium?” Ethan paused. Then he spoke slowly. “Galaxy,” he said, “is the most important consortium my family has ever had.” Elsa’s voice trembled. “Your… family?” she asked. “You mean… the Storm family?” “Yes,” Ethan replied. “The Storm family built it. And we have controlled it in secret… all this time.” Elsa’s eyes widened. “All this time…?” she whispered. “So… even when the Storm family fell… Galaxy still lived?” “Yes,” Ethan said gently. “It went into the dark. It hid. It stayed quiet. No one knew it was ours.” He took a slow breath. “And now,” he said, “I will wake it up again.” Elsa clutched the phone tighter. “So… Nova is not alone,” she said softly. “No,” Ethan answered. “Nova is

Ethan’s heart skipped. “Something important?” “Yes,” she whispered, “and it can’t wait.”Ethan felt a chill run down his spine. “Elsa… what is it? You can tell me.”There was a long pause. Then, her voice came, barely above a whisper. “Ethan… the Watson family,” she said. “They found out. They know you are linked to Nova.”Ethan said nothing. He stood in the dark road. His hand froze around the phone. His eyes grew cold.“…They know?” he asked at last, his voice low.“Yes,” Elsa replied. “They know.”“How?” Ethan asked. “How did they find out?”Elsa was quiet for a moment.“I… don’t know,” she said. “I checked the files. I checked the staff. I checked every call. There is no trail. But… they know. I am sure.”Ethan let out a slow breath.“I see,” he said softly.Elsa bit her lip.“I’m sorry,” she whispered. “I tried to hide it. I tried to cover it. But the Watson family… they are watching us. They sent men. They asked questions.”Ethan stayed silent. The night wind passed over him.

Ethan walked down the quiet road. The night air was cold, but his mind was steady. He thought about Norwish City… his past… and the long path ahead. His phone buzzed in his pocket. He stopped and took it out.A message. It was from John Hadel.Ethan opened it.A short text.“This is the contact of the acting commander of the Storm Group. You will need him.”Below it was a name and a number.Ethan’s eyes softened. He let out a slow breath. Then he typed back a reply.“Thank you.”He stood still for a moment, looking at the screen. Then he pressed the call button. The phone rang.Once.Twice.Then a rough, cautious voice answered.“Hello? Who is this?”Ethan spoke calmly.“My name is Ethan Storm.”There was silence on the line.No sound. Not even breathing. Then the man spoke again, but his voice shook.“…Storm…? Did you say Storm?”“Yes,” Ethan said. “I am the last one.”A sharp gasp came through the phone.“I… I thought the Storm family was gone,” the man said quietly. “I thought ther

A long breath escaped John’s lips — something between shock and admiration. For a moment, he simply looked at Ethan, his gaze deep, thoughtful… and filled with something rare. Respect. Finally, he let out a quiet, incredulous laugh. “My God,” he murmured. “You… truly are your ancestors’ heir.” He shook his head slowly — not in disapproval, but in wonder. “To think… strategy of that scale… foresight of that depth… at your age…” His voice softened — almost reverent. “You are a genius, Ethan Storm.” Ethan didn’t smile. He simply bowed his head slightly. “I’m not a genius,” he replied quietly. “I’m just someone who refuses to let the world fall.” John’s gaze warmed. “That,” he said gently, “is exactly what makes you one.”Ethan lingered for a moment, watching John settle back into the pillows, his breaths slow and steady. “I… have a lot to do,” Ethan said finally, his voice calm but purposeful. “Preparations. Plans. I should leave you to rest for now, but I’ll remain in cont

Ethan nodded slowly. “I know. That’s why I won’t fight them as a Knight.” A faint spark of stormlight pulsed beneath his skin. “This strike won’t be righteous,” he continued coldly. “It will be surgical. The Watsons believe themselves untouchable because they operate in shadows — hidden deals, hidden creatures, hidden masters. I’ll expose them… not to the world — not yet — but to their own foundation.”John’s brows tightened in confusion at Ethan’s last words. “Expose them… to their own foundation?” he echoed. “What do you mean?”Ethan’s gaze sharpened.“I won’t charge at the Watsons with swords or declarations,” he said quietly. “That’s what they expect. Demons thrive in chaos — they’re prepared for open confrontation. But what they cannot withstand… is controlled collapse.”John watched him closely.Ethan continued.“I’m going to rebuild what the Storms lost,” he said. “Not just a house… not just a banner… but an organization — one that strikes from the shadows just as they do. But then — He straightened. His expression sharpened. And a cold, focused determination settled into his gaze. “…Good,” he said softly. John raised a brow. “Good?” Ethan’s lips curved into a faint, hard smile. “It means they built something,” he said calmly. “And anything that’s built…” Lightning flickered behind his eyes. “…can be dismantled.” John stared at him — a shadow of awe passing through his expression. Ethan’s voice turned low, steady, resolute. “I won’t rush in blindly,” he said. “If they’re everywhere now — business, crime, government — then striking directly will only alert them.” He crossed his arms. “I will take them apart slowly. Quietly. Piece by piece.” His thoughts sharpened like blades. Break the crime networks first. Expose the financial channels. Undermine the political puppets. “And while I tear down their influence…” Ethan continued, voice hardening… “…I will search for my family.”Ethan’s eyes hardened as the realization settled.“The Watso
