...from the inside out, piece by agonizing piece."

Kael didn’t waste a nanosecond. The Chronos-Guard's temporal field was fractured, its movements still jerky from the destruction of the minor temporal anchor. He didn’t just move; he surged, a violet-gold blur, the Celestial Void-Lance humming with murderous intent. His mind, now a sprawling network of the 'City Master Code', saw everything: every energy conduit, every hidden temporal nexus, every weak point in the ancient Foundry. The 'Prime Ember' wasn't just a furnace; it was the heart of this temporal nightmare, and it was connected to everything.

"Anomaly attempts direct assault. Inefficient," the Chronos-Guard intoned, its clock-face whirring back to full speed, brass hands blurring. It raised its multi-jointed arms, the air around Kael shimmering as it tried to re-establish its Temporal Lock. The Void-Hounds shrieked, phasing back into coherent reality, ready to lunge.

"Inefficient for you, maybe," Kael snarled, ignoring the Void-Hounds for a split second. He slammed the Celestial Void-Lance not at the Chronos-Guard, but into a massive, dormant conduit pipe running along the Foundry's central pillar. This wasn’t just a pipe; Kael's new knowledge screamed at him it was a primary temporal regulator, feeding directly into the Prime Ember.

CRACK-SHATTER-ZAP!

The Celestial Void-Lance, empowered by 'Reality Rend' and Kael's absolute will, tore through the reinforced metal and the intricate temporal runes beneath. A blinding explosion of blue-green energy erupted, showering the Foundry with static and superheated fragments. The entire pillar shuddered, groaning. The Chronos-Guard let out a synthesized gasp, its clock-face freezing, then spinning backward rapidly, before slamming forward again with a CLANG! Its temporal field around Kael completely evaporated.

[Primary Temporal Regulator 'Foundry Heartline' destroyed!]

['Chronos-Guard, The Clockwork God's' Temporal Field Stability: Critically Compromised (8% and dropping!).]

[Host's Temporal Abilities fully restored!]

"You... you fool! You destabilize the entire Prime Ember! You doom this timeline!" the Chronos-Guard shrieked, its synthesized voice now laced with genuine panic. Its precise, fluid movements became frantic, its brass gears grinding. The Foundry itself began to tremble violently, as if a colossal beast was thrashing in its death throes.

"It was doomed the second you started running it like a damn battery farm!" Kael roared back, his eyes blazing with fury. He had seen it in the Architect's assimilated memories: his mother, Ember, wasn't just in stasis; she was linked, a living key, stabilizing the Prime Ember's chaotic temporal energies. A gilded cage, a living power source for the Council's temporal meddling.

The Void-Hounds, no longer benefiting from the Chronos-Guard's stable temporal field, flickered wildly, phasing in and out of existence, confused and disoriented. Kael didn't give them a chance. With a devastating 'Void Step', he reappeared amidst them, the Celestial Void-Lance a terrifying blur. Each strike was precise, aimed at their destabilized temporal anchors, turning them into shimmering dust.

SHING! KABOOOM!

Four Tier 4 Void-Hounds dissolved in less than three seconds, their void-plated armor feeding Kael's ever-hungry Lance.

[4x 'Void-Hound Sentinel' defeated!]

[Rewards Granted: 4x 'Void-Hound Core' (Tier 4 - Legendary), 2000 Forge Points.]

[Total Forge Points: 17,560 (15,560 + 2000).]

"Kael! The ceiling! It's coming down!" Liora shrieked, pointing a trembling finger upwards.

Kael looked up. The Foundry's massive obsidian ceiling, already cracked, was now collapsing inward, not with rocks, but with a horrifying cascade of golden light and reinforced platings. It wasn't natural; it was a colossal structure, a new, glittering fortress, descending from the sky, directly onto the Foundry.

[Warning: 'Sovereign Citadel' (Tier 5 - Legendary Fortress) detected. Status: Activating 'Planetary Lockdown Protocol'. Threat Level: EXTINCTION-CLASS.]

[Primary Objective: Secure 'City Master Code' (Host's possession) and eliminate 'Temporal Anomaly' (Host's presence).]

[Entity: 'Council's Inner Circle' detected. Commander: Grand Master Solon Draven (Tier 10 - Grand Sovereign).]

"Grand Master Solon? The old lizard himself? So they all knew," Kael growled, his fury reaching a new zenith. The entire Draven family, the entire Council, they were all in on it. His mother was a living battery, and he was the "anomaly" threatening their pathetic power.

The descending golden fortress, the 'Sovereign Citadel', was massive, at least a mile across, its base a honeycomb of glowing energy conduits and colossal tractor beams that shimmered, pulling it down onto the Foundry. It wasn't meant to land gently; it was meant to crush.

"Kael, we have to run! It's going to crush us all!" Silas wailed, pointing frantically at the rapidly descending fortress.

"Run where, Silas? This whole damned city is designed to trap us," Kael stated, but his eyes, now burning with violet-gold power, scanned the underside of the descending Citadel. His 'City Master Code' knowledge flashed, revealing vital information. The colossal tractor beams weren't just pulling the Citadel down; they were its primary means of propulsion and defense, anchored by massive energy conduits.

"Silas, Liora! Get behind the furnace! Now!" Kael commanded, his voice sharp with urgency. "The Abyssal Heart Furnace has a minor shielding protocol! It won't hold the Citadel, but it might give you a second!"

Silas, still dazed, grabbed Liora and dragged her toward the pulsing purple flames of the furnace, which shuddered under the immense pressure.

The Chronos-Guard, its movements still erratic, but its clock-face now fixated on the descending Citadel, shrieked, "The Citadel! They break the seal! This timeline will shatter!"

"Then let it shatter! You built a rotten foundation!" Kael roared, already moving. He didn't see a descending fortress; he saw a giant, golden target. His objective wasn't to fight the Citadel, but to board it. And he knew exactly how.

"System. Prioritize 'Void Step' energy. Target: Main Tractor Beam Conduit, underside of 'Sovereign Citadel'," Kael commanded, his eyes locked on a massive, glowing blue column of energy, thick as a highway, that was pulling the Citadel down. It was volatile, dangerous, and perfectly centralized.

[Command Acknowledged. Executing 'Void Step' (Major) for long-range insertion into 'Sovereign Citadel' via Tractor Beam Conduit. Danger: Extremely high energy fluctuation. Risk of dimensional shear: Moderate.]

"Dimensional shear? Sounds like a Tuesday," Kael muttered, a grim, determined smile on his face. He launched himself, not upward, but into the heart of the Foundry, toward the abyss that held the Prime Ember, as if to gather more power. The Chronos-Guard shrieked again, trying to intercept him, but Kael was too fast, too focused.

Then, with a final, furious burst of power, Kael activated 'Void Step'. He wasn’t just teleporting; he was tearing a hole in local reality. He vanished from the Foundry, directly into the surging, blue maw of the main tractor beam, an almost suicidal gamble.

The Foundry groaned, then buckled under the immense weight of the descending Citadel. The air was filled with the deafening roar of grinding metal and exploding rock.

WHOOSH!

Kael reappeared in a flash of violet-gold light, clinging precariously to the side of a massive, pulsing energy conduit that hummed with enough power to level a small city. He was inside the main tractor beam, a living mote of defiance clinging to the underbelly of the 'Sovereign Citadel'. The golden fortress was still descending, but Kael was now ascending with it, carried upward by the sheer force of the beam, directly into the heart of the enemy stronghold.

He could feel the immense power radiating from the Citadel's core, a nexus of 'Solar-Void' energy that rivaled the Prime Ember. And somewhere within, he could feel the cold, calculating presence of Grand Master Solon.

"You thought you could crush me, old man? You thought you could bury my mother's secrets?" Kael growled, his voice vibrating with raw power, echoing in the confined space of the energy conduit. He looked up, through the shimmering blue energy, seeing the vast, golden underbelly of the Citadel. Access hatches, energy relays, weapon systems—all laid bare by the 'City Master Code' knowledge now flowing within him.

"Alright, Solon. Let's see if your golden cage can hold a ghost of your making," Kael whispered, the Celestial Void-Lance solidifying in his hand, its blade pulsing with hungry anticipation. He began to climb, a phantom of vengeance tearing through the very structure of the Citadel, moving with impossible speed towards the heart of the fortress.

He breached the outer plating, slicing through reinforced Adamantine like butter, leaving a trail of shimmering, freezing shadow. Corridors, cold and sterile, stretched before him, lined with automated sentry turrets that swiveled, their red optical sensors locking onto him.

[Warning: 'Sovereign Citadel' internal defenses activated! Multiple 'Plasma Sentry Turrets' (Tier 3 - Elite) engaging!]

[Multiple 'Sovereign Guard' units (Tier 4 - Legendary) detected inbound!]

"More toys for the forge. Wonderful," Kael muttered, his eyes gleaming with dark amusement. He met the first volley of plasma fire with a 'Void Step', reappearing behind the turrets, carving through their power cores with surgical precision. They exploded in showers of sparks and melting metal.

Then came the guards. Not the clanking Enforcers, but sleek, armored figures, their bodies augmented with crystalline implants, wielding gleaming energy pikes and shields. Their movements were fast, coordinated, a well-oiled machine of death.

"Intruder! Stand down! By decree of Grand Master Solon—" one of them began, his voice cold and synthetic.

Kael didn't let him finish. He plunged the Celestial Void-Lance into the lead guard's chest, twisting, and activating 'Stellar Siphon'. The guard dissolved into pure energy, feeding Kael's weapon. He parried a second pike with his Lance, then used 'Void Step' to reappear inside the next guard's shield, gutting him from within.

The battle was a blur of violet-gold flashes, screams, and dissolving metal. Kael was a storm of death, fueled by a decade of betrayal, empowered by a system that turned foes into fuel. The guards, legendary in their own right, fell like dominoes, their essences absorbed, their very existence erased.

He pushed deeper, following the glowing ley lines of the 'City Master Code' towards the Citadel's core, towards Solon. He saw the intricate network of temporal relays, the hidden conduits feeding the Prime Ember. He saw the very system that kept the Eternal Night stable, yet enslaved the city.

He reached a massive, heavily reinforced vault door, pulsing with formidable energy. This was it. The heart of the Citadel. And the 'City Master Code' within him pulsed with a new, urgent warning.

[Warning: Primary 'Prime Ember' control nexus detected behind this portal. Estimated energy output: Catastrophic.]

[Warning: Living 'Forge Master's Bloodline' signature detected within nexus. Status: 'Critical - Overload Imminent'.]

[Objective Update: Deactivate 'Prime Ember's Temporal Core'.]

[Reward: Forge Blueprint: 'Reality Weaver Gauntlets', 5000 Forge Points, Host's 'Reality Forge' fully unlocked.]

"Overload imminent? My mom," Kael whispered, a chilling realization. His mother, the living battery, was at breaking point. He had to stop this. He had to sever the parasitic link they had forced on her.

He slammed the Celestial Void-Lance into the vault door, pouring every ounce of his power into 'Reality Rend'. The door shrieked, its reinforced plating buckling, but it held. It wasn't just metal; it was laced with temporal dampeners.

"Damn it! Solon, you old bastard! You won't break her again!" Kael roared, pushing harder, his eyes blazing. The vault door began to crack, slowly, agonizingly, revealing a glimpse of blinding, blue-white light from within. A light that pulsed with a slow, rhythmic thump-thump, like a dying heart.

He felt the 'City Master Code' within him resonate with that pulse, almost urging him. This was it. The truth. The culmination of his revenge. He was about to shatter the Council's power, free his mother, and turn this entire damn city into his own personal workshop.

He gave one final, furious push, the Celestial Void-Lance screaming as it tore through the last temporal dampeners, and the vault door exploded inward, revealing a vast, crystalline chamber, pulsating with raw temporal energy. In the center, suspended in a shimmering blue field, was his mother, Ember. Her body was wracked with agony, her face contorted in a silent scream, ancient wires embedded in her skull, draining her very essence.

And standing before her, his back to Kael, was a figure in robes of pure gold, radiating an oppressive aura of power. Grand Master Solon Draven. He slowly turned, his ancient eyes, cold and calculating, fixing on Kael.

"You truly are an abomination, Kael. A mistake. But you won't disrupt the Grand Design. Your mother's sacrifice is merely the beginning of a new age, a perfect timeline. And I won't let you..."
