8. Ryan vs Triceratops; battle for life

Ryan was quite shocked to see such a situation in front of him. He thanked his younger self for knowing a bit about dinosaurs, otherwise, he would have never been able to identify this creature in front of him

The triceratops dashed and knocked the tree. The impact was big enough to shake the tree completely. He saw the leaves falling on the ground. The one got stuck in the trunk of the tree. Ryan almost fell from the impact.

The triceratops again dashed the tree. After a few times, He understood that the tree was going to fall. The impact was massive. He had to do something and survive the situation. Ryann took out the knife from his bag and took the bag on his shoulder.

The triceratops attacked the tree again. At the same moment, Ryan jumped and tried to pierce the skin of the triceratops. But the skin was too hard to get pierced or cut. The knife was not able to pierce the skin of the triceratops. Ryan somehow managed to tightly grab the triceratops and sat on the creature. He couldn't sit properly but somehow kept his body on the triceratops.

The second he fell down the triceratops, He was going to die. The Triceratops was doing every effort to throw him from its body. Ryan quickly got a chance to grab its horn. He got a good grip and didn’t hesitate a second before piercing its eyes with the knife in his hands.

The triceratops roared and grinned, shouting in pain. But it had become slower bearing the pain of the eye. While Ryan stuck the knife into the triceratops eye. In the Acronis base, where everyone was watching the fight with full attention. Tony spat a mouthful of blood. Tony’s white eyes were dripping blood. Blood started coming from his eyes as tears ran down. It was not just the Triceratops who was in pain.

Everyone was so focused on the fight that no one noticed Tony’s condition. They never thought that a young teenager would be able to scratch the triceratops but Ryan was actually giving it a hard time. Ryan had turned the triceratops blind without getting any major injury.

Ryan thought about turning the triceratops completely blind but he was scared that it would go and hit anywhere. It may even lose balance and fall down. If he falls down with the triceratops, Ryan wonders if he will be ok under the weight of the triceratops. He didn’t get down off the triceratops due to being scared of getting hit by the giant beast.

Ryan was suddenly caught unprepared and thrown on the grass ground. Tony had waited for the right opportunity to throw him off the triceratops. Tony was watching Ryan from the screen in the monitoring room, he was waiting for the right moment when Ryan would be relaxing and filling himself up for a second.

Ryan was thrown on the grass ground by the triceratops and his bag and the knife were thrown in another direction. Ryan had no weapon with himself now. He saw the triceratops from standing on his feet. He understood why people shouted in the jungle. The Triceratops was furiously looking at its enemy and eyes shining with white anger. Ryan could see why the triceratops was looking at him with anger.

The other eye which was pierced by Ryan was bleeding badly. The triceratops face was covered in red. The triceratops ran towards Ryan to hit him with its horn.

Zelda looked at the old man and said, “ Stop it, otherwise we will lose Ryan”

The old man revealed he was so interested in the battle that he completely forgot that Ryan was a normal human. But it was too late. The old man quickly flicked his finger and the white light in Tony’s eyes disappeared. Tony’s ability was cut off.

“Uhh, WHat!” Tony reacted a bit.

Everyone looked at Tony and saw how badly he was bleeding. They understood one thing about his ability: when he is in control of a creature, he also shares its pain and injuries.

“It still didn’t stop!” Zelda reacts to seeing the triceratops. now, the situation had turned worst. no one was controlling the triceratops.

The Triceratops was still running towards Ryan with all its might to pierce the man in front of it. Everyone in the Acronis base looked at Ryan. Few had already started mourning his death. Some even closed their eyes to not see Ryan getting crushed. Few had guilt and pity for Ryan who was targeted and was going to be killed by a monster. Not everyone was cruel and evil in the Acronis organization.

Ryan ran towards the Triceratops. Everyone was quiet in the sudden change of the situation. Ryan saw that the triceratops eyes had turned normal. It was not shining anymore. He didn’t get what happened to the triceratops. He focused on the fight. They both came running towards each other. The Triceratops was faster than Ryan.

When the triceratops came closer to him, he slid and dragged himself between the triceratops legs. The triceratops didn’t stop themselves and went ahead with the same force. Ryan quickly got up and looked at the triceratops. But the triceratops didn't turn back. It went straight into the woods. The footsteps got lighter and lighter. It was indicating that the triceratops had gone far away.

Ryan took a few deep breaths. He had put every bit of his strength into dealing with the triceratops. Especially holding on to the triceratops was not an easy task. Ryan went together with his knife and bag. He was going to sit near a tree as he had no strength left to climb the tree again.

A few meters away, the teams of Acronis were enjoying and celebrating his win. Ryan had become a celebrity in their eyes. Many were cheering for Ryan’s win. The old man looked around and found that the fight had indeed refreshed everyone watching.

Ryan was relaxing under a giant tree. He heard some sound coming from the ground. He was scared for a second. There was far more shaking and vibrations were heard. He was sure that it was coming from the grass ground in front of him. He could tell something was wrong with the ground.

Ryan saw the ground rising high in the air. He didn’t understand what was going on. A few seconds later, the ground was still high in the air. Soon, he saw a window and a building kind of structure below the ground. Ryan understood it was the base of Acronis organization. It was hidden below the ground. A building came up from the ground where the grass ground was. The grass ground became the terrace of the building.

The building could be seen from a distance. He saw many survivors coming towards the building. Ryan looked at the survivors and could tell from their condition. They had the toughest time of their life.

It was a 10-floor tall building. A few people came outside the building and started handcuffing the survivors. Ryan saw the expressionless girl again. The same girl who kidnapped him with the old man. It was their second meeting. He still didn’t know her name. Ryan knew she was coming towards him to handcuff him.

Ryan showed his fist to her so that she could easily handcuff him.

“What’s your name?” Ryan asked.

The girl hesitated a little on whether to reply or not. She didn’t reply and took him with her. She ignored the question and took him inside the building.
