“Is there something that you want to talk about? ”, The blonde haired lady with eyes as blue as the morning sky asked Monday. Tucked in a blue thick singlet and a black tight. Her hair was tied into a bun. “I am not saying you can't come visit, it just so random for the faded shadow to just drop by.. ”

“Okay... you can stop now. ”, Monday bowed his head, “Just running from the place you can call home but isn't ... home. ”

“What happened? ”

“The usual... I just felt the need to leave, their parents will be home for dinner and I don't think I want to be around for any of that. ”

They were seated on a couch, the room was quite dark, mostly the TV was on. The lady in question actually liked it that way.

“No one's around? ”

“My mum and my sister are upstairs taking a nap. I just thought I stayed up late and watch my favourite series while it still on. ”, She responded but her eyes were still fixed on Monday, even in the darkness she could see how pale he looked. “ I know how you're feeling but you are going to have to accept that they are your family and not total strangers.”

“I hear...”

“Come on Monday, you can not drift yourself from your family forever, we both know that.”

“How easy it is for you to say... family that doesn't even accept you for what you are untill they figure out you are something... extraordinary.”

“It happens to everyone.”

“Why didn't it happen to you?”

She chuckled then a smile sat on her face. “You have been my friend for as long as I can remember. Been there for me when I don't even need it. You have gone to great lengths for me even before I knew you were the faded shadow. Saved my life countless times even when I didn't know you were him so why would I treat you in the same manner those ...”, She sighed. “... people treat you. Everyone is just different. You can't always expect everyone to be the same ”

Monday looked up at her before throwing his eyes at the screen. “Even though. I expect those I call my family not to be different anyway, how's your relationship going?”

“Wow... how mindful of you to ask. It's fine ... everything is going smooth. But forget about that, what about you? are you still thinking about her or have you finally moved on?”

“Let just say ... everything for me is uncertain.” Monday smiled a bit. “I am not sure of anything. Besides we don't contact each other anymore. Sometimes , I check on her and I sometimes I regret doing so.”

“No... ”, she shifted closer to him and held his hand. “No... don't say that, she was perfect but --”

“Fate as other plans... I know, but still... it should have left me alone with my boring life. ”

She squeezed his hand forcing him to groan. “Hey! what gives. ”

“First of! your life isn't boring! secondly! You are my faded shadow... but to be honest that names sounds really weird, like faded ... then shadow, yeah it a really weird name. ”

“Speak for yourself... ”,

“When will you resume?”, Naomi swiftly Changed the subject. “You have literally missed a whole semester.”

“School?”, Monday thought. “I am not really sure about school now , I still need to clear my head on a lot of things before coming back”

The girl shook her head. “Like what??? I mean like what??? you really need to get back to a lot of things. Saving the world is cool, but , don't loose yourself in it.”

Monday sort to reply but his ear drifted away from their conversation as an alarming sound seeks his attention. “Trouble.”

“You should get going, we will talk later. . . Go.”, she said and Monday nodded. He jumped of the couch and flew through the window at top speed.

The girl quickly got up and headed for the window, her eyes searching for him but he was out of sight already. “I hope he figures things out.”

Sound barrier ruptures rapidly as Monday soars faster and faster in the night sky. His body gets wrapped in his all covering black suit with an extra jacket coming on, his face as well covers up.

“Az, what's the emergency..”

“Glad you can spare me a bit of your time.”, Az said as entered their HQ, the lights came on , the computers activated.

“Now, there's something in the sky Monday, I am picking up a large amount of energy radiating from it”

“Can you get a closer look? ”

“Sure... with the aid of some satellite andddd bam!.”

“What do you see? ”

“Some mothership kinda... it huge, big---”

“Where?! ” Monday beamed loudly.

“Eobard Town square. ”

“Any suspicious activity? ”, Monday increases his traveling speed as a sound barrier ruptures behind him.

Az observed carefully. “No... nothing much, the ship just, oozing out this crazy vibrational sound plus the output of energy that's comings from it. Apart from all that... there's nothing else going on. ”

Eobard Town Square,

The night sky trembles as Monday pushes himself past Greenland City and across the ocean at top speed. Going as fast as possible as he knocks another sound barrier out of place!

Boom!

An abrupt halt brings him down to eobard town square, the small lonely society might be about to witness hell in its prime if this mothership was no good.

Monday glared at the ship in question. “I am here already. ”

“I can see that, we don't know what happening but yeah---”, Az response was interrupted.

* We are reporting live here where government special elite team as detected a mothership In the middle of eobard town. *

Az cursed. “Great... it on the news already., ”

* And the locals hero; the faded shadow seems to have arrived on time to intercept whatever harm this might be.*

“What are you going to do Monday. My scans are picking up a lot of things I can't comprehend. It like a full sledge battleship with some cosmic protection barrier. I can't get through to it. ”

“I will just have to burst my way through. ”, Mondays eyes glows golden.

“That won't be necessary shadow, ”, his golden light eyes balls turns of.

A familiar voice stops him in his tracks. He swiftly turned to see a man in his fifties with white hair in a military suit with some soldiers behind him.

“General Patrick... ”, The commanding force of the military. Monday placed his feet back on the ground. “What are you doing here. ”

“Because of that thing.”, General Patrick pointed. “It just arrived, my men picked up it movements in outta space. We knew it was heading here so we came.”

“What is it? some alien pod?”, Monday looked back at it.

“We are unable to get any intel on what it might be but the massive output of energy from that thing is powerful to do some damages.” , General Patrick figured.

Monday looked tressed, he was still shaken a bit by the ship. “Worst part is when you don't know what inside.”

“If nothin happens the next hour of it arrival. We are going to destroy it with every fire power that we have.”, General Patrick declared.

Az who was busy scrolling through his tab picked up an alarming activity in the surroundings. “Monday you guys got company, two ... company.”

“Affirmative.”, Monday looked back at the general. “You might want to reconsider your plans.”

“What the matter?”

“We are about to find out.”

A sund barrier abruptly ruptures in mid air , tremors took over.

And then!

A resounding thud thundered!. Two latters in an all covering green suit and golden designs had descended from the clouds.

Their eyes purging immensely , as if they were offloading a bright green light of their energy at it max.

Vicious looks that gave their foes another reason to think but Monday remains in his exact spot with questions hanging in his lips.

“Who the hell are you two?”

The first one came forward with his head and pride held high and he broke the silence that sort to grow amongst them. “We are the sons of Qualcomm and you will not detonate that ship under any circumstances!”

“And why's that?”, Monday tried to ignore what they had just said. He didn't want to bring himself to believe everything they were saying. “Why don't you want us to destroy the ship? is it what brought you here? or what?”

“It where our father is, currently as we speak.”

“Father?”, where the words that escaped Mondays lips and looked away. “It can't lips , he looked at them again with face preplexed , he was just confused and unable to process his situation.
