Nathaniel laughed, dangerously. He tapped a pen on a desk, slow and calculated. It wasn't just a pen and that was when he pulled a small flap on it. Silver, sharp and deadly. A penknife.

Gently, he took it closer to his face, a gentle but deadly half–smile on his face as he brushed his thumb over the smooth edge as though he was testing the sharpness.

Kane was slightly surprised. A university president with such a silent deadly weapon. This man sitting before him could definitely kill with a book.

  • SILK STUDIO (I)

The glass door of the silk studio hissed behind Kane as he stepped in. The place was nothing short of breathtaking, polished surfaces, crystal chandelier scattering light from the high rise roofing. The space buzzed with soft hums from customers engaging in rich conversations. Expensive suits and resplendent gowns were the trademark of this place. The smell of rich Cologne and Eucalyptus filled the air— sterile and welcoming. Before Kane could linger too long, a female staff member, smartly donned in uniform— white collar vest and a short black skirt that fitted her curves, stopping on her knee, walked to him with a communicable and practiced smile."Good day, sir.
