FUTURE OF ZEN

A PROMISE

Linda knew he was not waking up but she knew what she had to do now. 

She picked him up and threw him off the bed. 

But he still refused to go and kept laying down on the bed.

So she picked him up again and then took him directly to the bathroom and threw him in the bathtub. 

Zen didn't even had the time to react and found himself into the cold water directly.

He got water in his eyes, mouth, nose and ears. 

He reacted right away and tried to come out of the tub. 

He was about to scream loud at Linda but just as he looked toward her she was looking at him with more terrifying face that he got terrified and said nothing as he looked away. 

Right that moment he Venda woke up too and she started saying

' Now what this Linda bitch is doing, i am gonna kill her if i could ' 

Zen hearing that scolded her  right away with his inner voice 

' say whatever to me i don't care but if you ever say a single word for Linda after this, i will break you. 

Do you hear me ? '

To which she replied 

' che, fine.

I won't say something regarding her  but you should know something that you should die in that bathtub. ' 

Hearing this Zen didn't gave it much thought and just got out of the bathroom and dried himself up. 

He wore dry clothes and out the wet one to wash. 

Then he went outside but Linda was not there today.

So he thought she might have gone ahead and reached the park already. 

After about 1 hour he was able to reach the park. 

He got there but Linda was not there either. 

Now he had no idea where Linda was. 

He tried to call her but she didn't picked it up. 

So he started his work out which was told by Linda to him to do. 

It took him just a little less time today but he was able to achieve the goal and was ready to head back. 

But still there was no sign of Linda at all. 

He was being scolded the whole time by Venda but he kept ignoring her though it was becoming less difficult for him to ignore her and concentrate on the work and keep his power at bay. 

He had no idea why Linda didn't came today so he called her again but again she didn't picked up. 

So he went home and was exhausted again but still had some power to go back inside. 

As he went back inside she was there waiting for him at the door. 

She was looking at him with her full anger face and she scolded him saying

' why you little!

Why you didn't come to the destination i called you. 

You were not even home,  i looked for you around the place i called you but you weren't anywhere around there.

Where were you all the time? 

It better be a good reason or else ' 

Hearing that Zen said 

'what you mean other place, you didn't told me anything before i went to dry myself in the morning. ' 

To whicH Linda said 

' what you mean, i transferred my message through my mind to Venda and she picked it up. 

Didn't she told you? ' 

So Zen asked Venda that did she received it and if did then why she didn't told him.

To which Venda said 

' yeah i did so what, i am not your servant to tell you everything and you didn't asked me anyway that i knew if Where Linda was. 

So its your fault not mine ' 

He heard that but didn't said anything because of exhaustion and he didn't wanted to fight with her anymore. 

So he didn't said anything. 

But Linda asked him again to give an answer. 

But Zen had nothing to say. 

So she threatened him to say it or she won't give him food. 

So he threw it all out and said 

' i am sorry  i didn't told you yesterday when you asked, but this Venda is just so much abusive. 

She keep talking all the time, scolding me. 

She never even stops for a single second. 

Even now she is scolding me. 

I asked her after you told me you gave her a message as she said it not her work to tell me everything and i didn't asked her. 

She said she isn't mine servant.

I didn't wanted to waste the efforts you put in to get this gift for me and disrespect your feelings. 

That is why i didn't said anything before. 

Sorry ' 

To which Linda looked at Zen with a very caring face and hugged him tightly. 

She said 

' you seriously are just like my brother, i don't even think sometimes that you are not my Zen. 

You don't have to be so kind everytime and care about me this much. 

I would have felt bad about it but you don't have to struggle for this. 

Promise me, in future if you don't like anything regarding me or any decison made by me that affect you. 

You tell me right away to my face. 

It will make me feel bad for sure but what will make me feel bad more is you struggling to perform something that you didn't even like. 

So promise me ' 

As she hold out her hand and said 

' put your power through your hand to my hand by concentrating on it. 

This will create a pact for us and if you break it i will know it immediately. ' 

Zen hold her hand put his power through his hand to hers and she did the same which created a promise pact as Linda announced it in her inner voice by saying 

' if Zen does not like anything about me he won't be able to keep the pact and it shall break ' 

Which sealed the pact and they both went to the kitchen to eat the dinner where they talked about what to do with Venda.
