"Louis, welcome back. I guarantee your ex-wife will regret it," he said, making Louis smile.

"Thank you, Avely. I was foolish not to accept Mr. Dexson's offer right away," said Louis with a regretful look on his face.

"Don't blame yourself, that's in the past. Now you can live your life much better," replied Avely, patting Louis gently on the back.

"You are now part of my family. Of course, I will help you. Don't hesitate to ask for my help if you need it," he continued.

Louis smiled slightly at Avely's kindness.

Louis then decided to go see Mr. Dexson, as he was now ready for duty.

"I will reawaken the demon inside me, after keeping it locked away for so long," said Louis, clenching his fists.

"Louis, are you ready for duty today?" Mr. Dexson asked.

"Of course! I am very ready," Louis replied firmly.

Mr. Dexson smiled at Louis' enthusiasm.

"His enthusiasm has increased many times over. I like to see that. This country will surely become more successful and feared by its enemies," Mr. Dexson said to himself.

"I heard that the western Himalayan region is experiencing problems. When they found out you were leaving the country, some infiltrators from other countries intended to take control of the Himalayan region," explained Mr. Dexson.

"I have sent some strong troops there, but there has been no news from them yet. We don't know whether they have won or lost," he continued.

"All right. I will follow them there," said Louis.

"Guards! Prepare Louis's belongings immediately," said Mr. Dexson firmly.

Several guards then left to carry out the order and prepared Louis's belongings well.

"Do you need troops?" asked Mr. Dexson.

"No need, I'll go alone. I want to test my strength, which I haven't used in a long time," replied Louis.

Mr. Dexson smiled slightly, and he also believed that Louis's abilities were still the same as before, maybe even stronger because of the betrayal.

"All right. I'm sure you will defeat them. Come back and give me the news of your victory," ordered Mr. Dexson.

"Of course, I'll be back as soon as possible," said Louis firmly.

After that, Louis left to check his supplies. Feeling that everything was complete, he headed for the Himalayas.

The next day, Louis returned, his clothes covered in blood. It wasn't Louis' blood, but the blood of the intruders who had disturbed Mr. Dexson's territory.

"I managed to kill them all," said Louis, which pleased Mr. Dexson.

Louis had finished them off in less than seven hours.

"I told some of the survivors to bring their bodies here," he continued.

"Good! You always do your job well," said Mr. Dexson with a smile.

"Louis, you should clean yourself up, then we'll eat together to celebrate the liberation of the Himalayan region," said Avely.

"Okay," replied Louis.

Louis then left to clean himself up.

"Look at my daughter, she just joined us but has already solved one problem," said Mr. Dexson.

"Dad is right, we can't let Louis leave us again," replied Avely.

"He has sworn an oath; there's no way he will leave this country," said Mr. Dexson.

Elsewhere.

"Honey, I got a job offer at the biggest hospital in Blavif." Jack showed the letter to Varrly.

Varrly also looked very happy, which meant that Jack was indeed a very talented doctor, so much so that even the most powerful country wanted him to work there.

"So we're going to live there? Or just you?" asked Varrly.

"We'll all live there. Tomorrow we'll move to Blavif," Jack replied.

"I definitely made the right choice in choosing you. My life will be so much better," said Varrly as she hugged Jack tightly.

"Then give me a gift," Jack whispered right into Varrly's ear.

Varrly smiled, wrapping her arms around Jack's neck. "I'll give you anything you want."

Jack smiled slightly, then carried Varrly to her room.

Evelyn was in her room when she suddenly remembered her stepfather. When she was sad, her stepfather would always cheer her up or bake her favorite cake.

"Why am I thinking about that man! I can also ask Dad to make my favorite cake," Evelyn grumbled irritably.

Evelyn came out of her room and saw Jack relaxing.

"Dad, can I ask you for a favor?" Evelyn asked softly.

Jack glanced at Evelyn briefly. "What favor?"

"Dad, can you make Evelyn's favorite cake? Evelyn wants to eat cake," Evelyn replied with a smile.

"You think I'm a servant. Don't compare me to that lowly man. Just buy it or ask the maid to make it," Jack said, raising his voice.

"You're just annoying," he continued and then left Evelyn.

Evelyn almost cried, but she took the money and went to the cake shop.

"Maybe Dad is tired. Dad is a doctor and earns a lot of money. He's not like that man who is just a food delivery guy," Evelyn said softly.

"I also have a lot of friends because I have a doctor for a daddy," she continued.

Evelyn then went alone to buy the cake she wanted. Actually, she also wanted to discuss her school problems with Jack. But for now, her father probably couldn't be bothered.

Elsewhere.

"Louis, I'm giving you an assignment in the country of Blavif. There are some rebels there, so prepare yourself well," Mr. Dexson ordered firmly.

"Okay. I'll definitely get rid of them," Louis said firmly.

As promised, Louis met them that night. Louis stared at the two men who were to be their leaders."Make them stand up!" Louis ordered his men firmly.Louis stared at them with a sharp gaze, remembering that James was still unconscious, which made him emotional again."Who gave you two the order to kidnap my son?" Louis asked."No one gave me the order. I myself intended to kill your son because I have a personal grudge against you," said the long-haired man angrily. The man's friend looked at him, allowing Louis to conclude that the long-haired man was lying and trying to protect their boss."I don't think I know you. Why would you have a personal grudge against me?" said Louis."You may have forgotten that you killed my son on the battlefield in the south," growled the man."You blame me for the betrayal committed by your own son? If your son hadn't betrayed me, he might still be alive," replied Louis."Why did you have to kill him? My son had asked for a chance from you," snapped th

I don't want to lose James," said Avely while crying."I don't want to lose James either, but I'm sure James will be back with us. He's a strong boy," said Louis while gently rubbing Avely's back.Avely hugged Louis tightly, feeling a great weight."I swear I won't let those who hurt James live in peace," said Avely."For now, let's focus on James' recovery first, don't think about anything else," Louis said firmly."Louis, you're also injured. Why not get treated right away?" Avely saw the wounds on Louis's back and temple. She had just realized that Louis was also injured."Don't worry about my wounds, they're j

"I don't want to lose my son, we have to get there on time!" Louis snapped with an emotional expression. Louis looked very frustrated. Even though James was not his biological son, he loved him dearly. "Commander, the area you are tracking cannot be reached. If we continue to push forward, it will be too dangerous. We should find another way," said Louis' personal assistant. "Just continue, because it's the fastest way! I'm sure we'll be fine," Louis growled. Louis was convinced that they had deliberately chosen the fastest route to the problematic location, causing him to be late in rescuing his son. "But, Commander, this is too risky. The road is very difficult, and it looks like they've set up devices to trap us," explained Louis's assistant. "If we keep pushing, we'll all die. We've already received a warning," he continued. Louis rubbed his face roughly. He couldn't be selfish and endanger the lives of his men. "I have to stay calm and not act rashly. That's what they wan

Almost the entire area had been destroyed by enemy bombing."Commander, there have been many casualties from this bombing," said one of Louis' subordinates."Make sure all the residents have been found. If anyone is injured, take them to the hospital immediately," Louis ordered firmly."Yes, commander," he replied firmly, then left Louis.Louis ordered his men to spread out to search for the residents who had not yet been found."I will make sure to retaliate for this attack, but before that, I have to make sure it was the same people who did this," Louis muttered to himself.Louis also used his own money to help the residents with food, shelter, and clothing."You all don't need to worry, this problem will definitely end soon. I will take care of everything, and you will all stay at the evacuation center that I have prepared for the time being," explained Louis."Thank you, Commander. I hope you and your colleagues resolve
