Food delivery couriers become Gods of war

Louis had just left his favorite cake shop. He bought a medium-sized birthday cake for his wife, whose birthday was the previous day. He had prepared all the surprises for his wife.

"The cakes here are the most delicious, Varrly will definitely love it." Louis looked at the cake he had bought with a happy smile.

Louis didn't just buy a birthday cake; he also had prepared a special gift.

"It's been a long time since I gave Varrly a gift, and now it's her birthday. I'm sure she'll love my gift," said Louis with a smile.

He took a taxi home. He didn't go to work today so he could prepare surprises for his beloved wife.

"Varrly, what are you doing?" Louis shouted as he stepped closer to Varrly.

Everyone there looked at me with strange looks. But Varrly and my adopted daughter looked displeased when I arrived.

"Why did you let another man kiss you?" Louis snapped with an angry expression.

"Who are you? Please refrain from interfering with my important event. You'd better leave," said Varrly.

Louis, who heard that, was naturally hurt. He didn't expect his wife to not even acknowledge him as her husband.

"Don't joke around, Varrly, I'm your husband! Why are you celebrating your birthday without me and Damian? Where is Damian? I prepared a gift for you," said Louis.

Instead of apologizing, Varrly slapped Louis' cheek very hard.

"Watch what you say! And get out of here immediately. Don't disturb my event," snapped Varrly.

Louis didn't expect this. Varrly really didn't want to acknowledge him as her husband. Even Varrly's family and his daughter didn't defend him.

"Varrly! Why are you like this? I bought you the gift you wanted," said Louis, showing the gift to Varrly.

"I don't need a trashy gift like that," replied Varrly.

"I told you to get out of here. You're just a lowly food delivery guy," she continued, pushing me away.

The gift Louis was holding fell to the ground when Varrly pushed me.

Louis certainly did not accept being treated this way. Varrly had crossed the line, and he was sure that Varrly was acting this way because of that man.

"This must be because of you, damn it! You've influenced my wife," shouted Louis, intending to beat Jack up. But Varrly immediately stopped him, slapping Louis hard across the cheek again.

"What do you want? If you hit him once, I'll never forgive you," snapped Varrly.

"I don't care, Varrly! He's the one who made you like this. I'm your husband, but why don't you respect me?" asked Louis with a disappointed look on his face.

"Shut up! You're not my mother's husband," shouted Evelyn as she pushed me away.

"Take that! You're just a food delivery guy, not worthy of my mother." Evelyn took the cake I had bought earlier and threw it at my face.

Louis felt an excruciating pain. The daughter I had raised and loved like my own now treated me with disrespect.

No one felt sorry for me; in fact, many laughed at me.

"Just go. You're not needed here, and you don't deserve to be," said Jack, which made me even angrier.

"Shut up, you bastard! Are you not popular because you approached a married woman?" snapped Louis as he hit him hard in the face.

"You bastard! How dare you hurt Jack?" shouted Varrly as she pulled Louis's body away to stop him from hitting Jack.

Jack was indeed my wife's first love. He was a specialist doctor at one of the most prestigious hospitals. Was it just because Jack was a doctor that Varrly treated me like this? This was beyond the pale.

"Go away, you!" Evelyn continued to hit Louis's body. But Louis had no intention of stopping hitting Jack's face.

Varrly, who couldn't accept this, ordered the guards to beat Louis up. This left Louis helpless.

"Get that man out of here!" shouted Varrly's mother.

The two guards forcibly dragged Louis out, and he couldn't get back inside.

Louis endured the pain in his body and tried to stand up.

"Damn! Why did it have to turn out like this?" Louis muttered.

Louis's phone rang, and I answered the call immediately. Louis dropped his phone when he heard that his young son had been in an accident.

"Damian," Louis said softly. Without caring about his appearance, Louis rushed straight to the hospital.
