Everyone there was shocked.

"Poisoned?" Ms Anne repeated, confused.

"What rubbish are you even talking about? I've examined and treated him for awhile now but there never was a sign of any poison! So what nonsense are you spilling!" James snapped.

"There's been tests and all and no sign of poison so...what do you mean?" Ms Anne calmly questioned.

"I told you ma'am that this crippled here is a Swindler! How could you trust him? He has no medical qualifications. He is just spilling trash!"

James continued "Poison? What a joke! A professional like me has checked the kid and nothing like that!"

James said feeling proud of himself. He felt that this person was trying to steal his spot to get Ms Anne's attention. So he had to drive him out.

Dave didn't even bother talking to defend himself or whatever.

Dave just took a scalpel and stared at the young boy's hand for a while.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" James questioned "How dare you think you can use that at will? You unskilled brat!"

Dave, when he found the spot, ran the scalpel through the kid's right elbow side. Immediately blood started spilling.

He took a fabric and cleaned a bit of the blood and then showed it to the people around. Including James.

Everyone was stunned as they stared at the blood on the fabric turned black. Deep black and creepily oily.

"You can come and confirm if it's poison or not, Mr Professional" That was all Dave needed to say to prove his point!

James only stood there staring at it. Even if one was blind, They could still tell this was poison!

But James couldn't even find it no matter how many tests he ran. He was instantly speechless and humiliated at the moment.

He had been blabbing all the time, not knowing he was the one who was wrong!

"Poison? How's that possible...?" Ms Anne was speechless as he looked at James "How didn't you find it?" She questioned James. But he couldn't answer.

He simply closed his mouth.

Dave continued. He made the cut a bit bigger as he watched the blood spill out and go black. And then he took an acupuncture pin and placed it over the boy's shoulder.

"How can you let the blood waste like that? The kid is going to die if this continues!" James snapped. He was still trying to make Dave look bad and unskilled.

But it didn't seem to be working anymore.

Dave casually watched the blood spill for awhile as he announced "Ms Anne, could you please donate your blood. So we could transfer it in while also letting out this blood?"

"Rubbish!" James snapped! "That's unprofessional and unskilled of you. How do you not know that's it unethical to do such acts?"

"You are the unethical fool, shut up right now!" Ms Anne suddenly snapped at James "You had the chance but you all did nothing but make his condition worse. And here you still have the mouth to talk about unskilled and unprofessional?"

Anne continued "I think you should help everyone here by shutting your mouth unless I'll tear those useless mouth out for you!"

James held his mouth, shocked.

"If he thinks he's so professional, then he can actually step forward and continue" Dave stared at James.

James didn't dare do so. He knew he couldn't do anything. He couldn't humiliate himself any further.

"We'll proceed as you say" Ms Anne agreed.

She had already gained trust for Dave based on what she was seeing him do. She was getting impressed by this man.

Ms Anne's blood was being transferred to Gabriel while his poisoned blood was being let out.

It had taken some time before Dave stopped the letting of the poisoned blood.

And he casually stopped this spilling blood by removing the acupuncture pin he had placed on Gabriele's shoulder.

When the bleeding stopped, he treated the opening professionally. And then also stopped Ms Anne's blood transmission.

With that done, Dave performed his last trick.

He had gotten out some acupuncture pins and placed them strategically besides the collarbones of the young boy.

With that done, he slowly watched as the kid's colour return.

He wasn't pale anymore but his colour was healthy.

This left everyone there speechless. Especially someone amongst the nurses who knew the value of what he did.

"This skill... I never thought I'd ever see it in my life!" The Male nurse exclaimed.

"What skill is this?" A female nurse inquired.

"It's a rejuvenation spike skill! And it automatically brings one back to his fresh state in a short time!"

The Male nurse continued "I heard it's a master skill that not everyone could ever master. Even if they practiced for a lifetime!"

Everyone there was simply impressed. Especially Ms Anne who stared with a smile. They had all simply witnessed a miracle.

At the moment, Dave caught a glimpse at Ms Anne and noticed something strange.

there was something floating on her head like a System bar which read:

{FAVOURABILITY: 20%}

He didn't understand what it meant but he casually overlooked it since the System said nothing. Maybe it was just a System prop.

Dave didn't even bother commenting on their praise on his skills, but rather he knew he had something else to clear

"And while I was treating the kid, I noticed that someone else had run some tests on him a while ago" He said.

Dave said looking at James "And there was only one person who did so. So I'm guessing it was only you who did so"

"And what are you trying to say?" James asked.

Dave smiled "That the person who did so had actually done a great and professional job sustaining the kid before I arrived"

Dave knew about the fact that James had pushed the blame on the nurse. He knew this from the information gotten from the system.

So he wished to help the nurse now.

"Of course it was me alone! I'm the only professional around here and did it all alone! Why would I let anyone help me out" James said proudly.

At least he would get that glory with a good impression from Ms Anne. But he forgot he had blamed a nurse for actually touching Gabriel before.

But then Dave smiled "Just kidding. The person did a terrible job and made the situation worse. Which led to the kid's worsening condition. And I guess you did it. It speaks volumes of your unskilled nature"

Dave said as he rolled his wheelchair backwards.

Anne was speechless as she stared at James "So you were the one who made my brother's condition worse and you blamed it on someone else?"

"Well no... It's not like that..." He tried explaining himself but to no avail.

Anger was in Anne's eyes and James was sure she was gonna make him pay now!

Dave smiled as he opened the door. He said

"Stay with the kid, he'll vomit the last dirty blood in a few minutes, and then he'll be completely healed"

Dave instructed as he stepped out of the room. He wasn't going to get involved with the drama that would happen.

But as soon as he stepped out of the room and into the corridor, his system beeped and he saw a message pop up!

Things will fall into place as long as you stay on the right path.”He paused briefly before adding,“And if you ever need help or advice, feel free to reach out. I’ll be glad to help.”There was sincerity in his words—no pride, no superiority, just a simple willingness to guide.Mr. Yale nodded, a small but genuine smile appearing on his face.“Thank you,” he said. “Thank you for understanding.”For a moment, there was a quiet sense of closure between them.Dave then stood up from his seat, adjusting himself slightly.“Go ahead and hand over the contract to him,” he said. “You’ll still have to pay the fine.”His tone became a little more firm, but not harsh.“Consider it a lesson,” he added. “Something to remind you to make better decisions next time.”He gave a slight nod.“But don’t wo

“That’s the only way I can even consider sparing you,” Mr. Dan said with a sigh.
