“What! Father collapsed? What happened?” Ethan asks, voice full surprise.

“Lord Crane… he has not felt well lately,” Marcus says. “Now… It looks like his sickness is getting worse.”

Ethan's heart beat fast. Fear inside him.

“So… what do doctors say? Father… is he going to be alright?” he asked again.

Marcus sighs little. “We don’t know yet, Stark. But… Lord Crane wants to see you.”

Ethan does not think. “Alright Marcus. Tell father… I am coming to the city. I want to see him.”

“Okay, young master Stark,” Marcus says.

Then he hung up the phone. He looked very worried.

If Isabella were here now… she would shock very much by talking.

Lord Crane… he is powerful. Very famous in business. His money… hundred million. Big empire.

Any company can get help from Lord Crane… their company becomes very rich. Very strong.

Isabella dreams of working with him. Dream to be a partner with his empire.

But… she and her family don’t know the truth.

Ethan… he is actually the first son of Lord Crane. His real name… Stark Crane.

Marcus… he is the right hand man of Lord Crane. Everyone in the country knows him. Very important man.

Ethan turns back and looks at the mansion one last time.

He thinks about all the secrets he hid from Isabella and her family.

They never know… they never get favors from his real family.

The next day, early in the morning, Ethan travels to the capital city… M City. He goes to see his father.

After hearing what happened to father, he felt very worried. He cannot wait to see him.

Before he arrives in the city, Marcus, father’s right hand man, already gives him the hospital address.

But on the way to hospital… on a quiet, lonely road… suddenly, horrifyingly… a white Mercedes Benz lost balance. It crashed hard on a big oak tree.

“Stop!” Ethan shouted. The cab driver slammed the brakes fast.

Ethan jumped out of the cab.

“Oh my god! What happened?!” he shouted, horror on face. He looked at the crash scene.

“Help!! Help me! Somebody, please!!”

He hears voices. Horrible female voice, crying for help.

Ethan feel heart beat fast. He wants to leave, but… he cannot. His good heart tells him to stay. He must save her.

Cab driver… no wait. Take money from Ethan, drive fast away.

Ethan ran to the car. Smoke everywhere. The car smashed very badly.

He hears a woman scream. “Calm down, ma’am! I'll get you out! I promise!” he yells, voice loud.

The woman hears him. She cried out loud. “Please… save me! Please! I don’t want to die!”

Ethan looks at her, fear in his chest. His hands shake a little, but he runs closer to the car.

Ethan tries to find the car door, but it is very difficult. Smoke strong, smell bad. Thick smoke all around the car.

He could not hear women scream anymore. His heart beat fast. He felt very worried.

Finally, he finds the car door. But… problem again. The door is not open. Locked from inside.

Maybe this is why women cannot come out.

Suddenly, he sees an engine leak. He fears cars will explode any time.

He decided to smash the windshield. He must get women out fast.

Just as he smashed… loud BOOM! The car exploded! Smoke and fire everywhere.

Lucky… he already carried the woman out in arms before the car blew.

He looked like he was on fire. But… he felt glad. He saved her on time.

He looked at the woman 's face… he froze.

“Damn!” he mutters.

She is very, very beautiful.

Face pale, shine like diamond. Body… perfect. If any man sees her, maybe lose mind.

He looks close, he thinks… if he does not save her… the world may lose an angel today.

“Hey… miss, you ok?” he asks, voice full of worry.

Women are very weak. Smoke makes her almost pass out. But slowly she breathed. She looks at Ethan.

“Stark?” she says, surprised, voice weak.

Ethan was shocked. How does she know his name?

“Huh… how do you know my name? We met before?” he asked, confused.

“Don’t you remember me? It’s me… Lily. We both went to the same college before, remember?”

Ethan looks at her closely. His mouth opened a little. He starts to recognize faces.

“Huh… Lily?” he says, a little shocked.

The woman nodded and smiled. “Yes, Stark. It’s me.”

Ethan cannot believe his eyes.

They went to the same college many years ago.

He once saved her life in college. After that… they become close friends. But then… she suddenly disappeared.

Seven years passed. He almost cannot recognize her. Now… she is more beautiful than before.

“Oh my God… Lily, where were you all this time?” he asked, voice full of surprise.

Lily smiles at him. She tried to speak… but suddenly… she fell in his arms.

Ethan's heart beat fast. Fear inside him.

“Lily! You ok?” he shouted, panicking in voice. He held her face gently.

She did not respond. His heart beat faster. He looks carefully… then he sees blood coming out from her nose.

Ethan's shock, fear in chest. “No… no… what happened to you?”
