Ethan Moreau stood in front of his house, smiling to himself. His wife’s company, the Celestia Group, had just gotten a huge deal with the Titanium Corporation. The deal is worth millions.

Everyone knew the Titanium Corporation—It was the biggest, most powerful business empire in the whole country.

The company was founded by the almighty Lord Sebastian Crane.

Lord Crane was known as the wealthiest man alive.

Ethan felt proud seeing how happy his wife was. Her dream had finally come true. She even planned a small celebration at their house. Their driveway was already lined with fancy cars.

Ethan stepped inside, smiling to himself. The house was full of people… talking, laughing. He moved through the crowd, scanning the room for Isabella. She had to be somewhere among the guests.

Then he stopped.

In the corner of the room, a couple was kissing.

“Isabella?” he called.

It was his wife, Isabella.

And the man… he knew him.

Damian Crane.

Damian Crane was Isabella's ex, and also the son of the Titanium Corporation.. Ethan remembered how she did tell him not to worry about Damian, but now… he was right there with her, locking together as a couple.

Ethan’s chest hurt. As if someone had shoved a knife in. He trusted her and gave her everything and now this is what he get in return.

Isabella's eyes widened the moment she saw Ethan as she pulled away from Damien.

Everything inside him was burning. He ran at them and yanked Damian toward him. He dragged him away from Isabella and gave him a punch on his face. Damian stumbled back.

The music just… stopped. And the talking… It stopped too. People were gasping, staring.

“What… what’s happening?” someone asked.

Damian was on the floor. His face was a mess.

But Ethan couldn’t believe it. His wife… Isabella… Instead of saying sorry, she just walked up and slapped him across the face.

“Are you… crazy, Ethan?!”

“Aww” everyone yelled, like they couldn’t believe it.

“Damian, are you okay? I’m so sorry,” Isabella said, rushing to him and apologizing.

Ethan’s hand went to his cheek. He was shocked, he then gave a little laugh.

His hand still on his face, shocked. “Isabella… wait… did you just slap me?” he asked.

Isabella didn’t hesitate. “Yes, I slapped you! Why would you hit Damian? Do you even know who he is?”

Damian had gotten back up. He stared at Ethan and shouted angrily, “You idiot!”

“How dare you touch me!”

Get on your knees and apologize now!”

Ethan laughed. “You’re the criminal,” he shook his head, “not me!”

“You should be the one saying sorry! What are you doing with my wife?!”

All eyes in the room went to Isabella and Damian. Everyone looked confused and shocked.

“What is happening here?” a familiar voice suddenly called out. From the staircase, an elderly woman appeared, she looked so elegant.

“Good, you’re here, Madam Vivienne. Your family could have gotten into serious trouble today,” Damian said angrily.

“What happened, Mr. Damian?” Vivienne asked in worry.

“Can you believe this fool attacked me? Look at my face!”

Vivienne Lancaster looked at Ethan, raising one eyebrow.

“Ethan, are you stupid? This is Damian Crane, the son of the almighty Lord Crane. How dare you touch him! Do you want to die?”

Ethan’s heart pounded,Ethan said with his voice shaking.

“I… I caught him kissing my wife,”

Vivienne frowned, “So what?! Do you even understand who you’re messing with? His family… the most powerful! If you know what’s good… get on your knees and apologize. Now!”

Ethan’s mind was all over the place, “Never! He should apologize to me! Just because he’s Lord Crane’s son… doesn’t mean he can go around kissing my wife!”

He looked at Isabella. Furious. ““How could you… how could you do this? You said I didn’t have to worry… that nothing was going on… that he was just your ex! So… why?”

Instead of apologizing, Isabella snorted.

“Correction, Ethan. This is my house. And second, what if I did kiss Damian, huh?”

Ethan just stared at her. “Are you serious, Isabella? Don’t you have any shame? You are a married woman. You’re my wife!” He clenched his fists, he felt both the anger and hurt mixing together.

But Isabella looked at him and gave a cold smile. “Not anymore, Ethan.”

Ethan froze where he stood. “What do you mean, Isabella?”

She met his eyes. “I’m sorry, Ethan. I don’t want this marriage anymore.”

“Let divorce.”
