Chapter 10: Throne in the Middle of the Ocean

...blasted the asphalt behind them into smithereens, creating a shockwave that launched the limo even further toward the open sea. Zolda snarled, gripping the steering wheel so hard the leather ripped, veins on his arms bulging like steel cables. Golden energy surged from his body, enveloping the entire car and forming a glowing protective bubble in the darkness.

"YOU'RE CRAZY, ZOLDA! WE'RE FREE FALLING, DUDE! YOU THINK THIS CAR CAN SWIM?!" Navi screamed hysterically, gripping the door handle until her knuckles turned white.

"SHUT UP, NAV! HANG ON TIGHT OR I'LL THROW YOU OUT!" Zolda barked, his eyes flashing deep gold as he stared at the rapidly approaching water surface.

"SISKA! ACTIVATE THE EMERGENCY SYSTEM, NOW!"

"EMERGENCY MY ASS! THIS IS A LIMO, NOT A SUBMARINE, STUPID!" Siska yelled from the back seat, trying to stabilize herself. "ZOLDA, MORE MISSILES! TWO ON OUR TAIL!"

BZZZZTTT!

Zolda didn't answer. He focused entirely on his Kunao Inner Eye. In his vision, time seemed to slow down. He saw two red dots speeding from the attack helicopter. With a sudden jerk of his right hand off the wheel, he unleashed a wave of pure Qi energy backward.

BOOM! BOOM!

The two missiles exploded mid-air, creating massive fireworks that lit up the ocean. At the same time, the limo hit the water. But instead of sinking, the car glided on the surface like a high-speed surfboard, propelled by the golden energy pressure beneath its wheels.

"Holy crap... we're not sinking?" Navi opened her eyes slowly, panting. "You... you made this car run on water, Zolda?!"

"You think I'm only good at taking lives?" Zolda snorted, sweat mixed with blood dripping from his forehead. "Siska, coordinates! How long till we reach that island?!"

Siska checked the chip the silver-haired woman gave them. "Three nautical miles, Zolda! But my radar shows five fast patrol boats chasing us from the left! They're not letting us go!"

"Noisy bastards!" Zolda slammed the gas harder. "Nav, you said you're a genius strategist, right? Find me a way to blind them!"

"Hold on, monkey! Trying to hack their military satellite!" Navi typed furiously on her still-functional laptop. "Got it! Sending a fake signal that we're a legal cargo ship. But it only lasts two minutes!"

"Two minutes is enough to blind them!" Zolda took a deep breath. He took one hand off the wheel again, forming an ancient hand seal. Kunao Inner Eye: Heavenly Mist!

Suddenly, water vapor around the car condensed into a thick white fog, covering a one-kilometer area instantly. The chasing patrol boats lost visual and started firing blindly into the mist.

"Damn, they're shooting wild! Zolda, break right!" Siska yelled as a cannon shell splashed right next to them.

"I know! Nav, guide me!" Zolda focused on the coordinates in his mind.

"Straight ahead, Zolda! Hundred meters you'll see a cliff face! There's a small crack, go in there!" Navi yelled, clutching her laptop.

"Cliff face? You want us to hit a rock wall?!" Siska glared.

"Trust me, Sis! That's the illusion gate!" Navi insisted.

Zolda saw the massive cliff ahead through his Inner Eye. To normal eyes, it was a dead end. But to Zolda, there was a distinct energy flow in the center.

"HANG ON!" Zolda yelled.

SCREEECH!

The limo rammed the cliff face at full speed. Navi and Siska instinctively closed their eyes, bracing for impact. But all they felt was a fleeting cold sensation, like passing through a waterfall.

When they opened their eyes, the scene ahead had changed completely. They were no longer in the dark open sea, but in a hidden bay with water calm as a mirror. Ahead stood a high-tech dock with modern buildings blending into the tropical nature.

"Crazy... what is this place?!" Navi gawked, eyes glued to the majestic lab building by the beach. "Is this really your parents' HQ, Zolda?"

"News to me too, Nav," Zolda killed the engine, which was now spewing black smoke. "Siska, grab our gear. We're walking."

They got out of the battered car. The moment Zolda's foot touched the dock floor, floodlights around the bay automatically lit up, aiming straight at them.

"Who goes there?! State your access code or the automated defense system will destroy you in five seconds!" A robotic voice blared from speakers around the dock.

"Eh, seriously?! Just arrived and already getting shot at!" Navi panicked, hiding behind Zolda.

Zolda looked at a security camera. He pulled out his necklace and held it high. "I'm Zolda! And I got this necklace! You wanna shoot, shoot now!"

Silence for a moment. Suddenly, the robotic voice changed to a very soft, warm woman's voice. "Identity confirmed. Welcome home, Young Master Zolda. Please forgive our system's rudeness."

"Young Master? Wow, look at you, Zolda!" Siska nudged Zolda, grinning.

"Quiet, Sis. I'm still dizzy," Zolda walked toward the main lab entrance. "Hey, Voice! Where are my parents?!"

"Apologies, Young Master. The Master and Mistress are not present. However, they have left a video message for you in the main hall," replied the voice.

The three entered the building filled with medical tech Siska had never seen before. Cell regeneration tanks, micro-surgical robots, and thousands of rare medicinal plant samples preserved in special fluid.

"Zolda, look at this!" Navi pointed to a giant screen in the center. "This is the 'Seven Houses' database! They have profiles on every influential family in the world, including their medical weaknesses!"

"So this was my parents' weapon all along?" Zolda approached the screen. "Collecting elite disease info for leverage?"

"Not just leverage, Zolda," Siska chimed in, checking a medical journal on a table. "This is domination strategy. If you can cure impossible diseases, you don't just own their money, you own their lives."

"That was my plan from the start, Sis," Zolda smiled coldly. "But now I have a crazier base. Nav, can you use the system here to track Wijaya and the 'Seven Houses' alliance?"

"Piece of cake! System here is thousands of times faster than my laptop!" Navi sat at the main console, fingers dancing on a holographic keyboard. "I'll build an intel network no one can crack. In 24 hours, I'll know the color of Arka Wijaya's underwear daily!"

"Good. Do it. Siska, learn all the tech here. I want you operating on people with these robots in no time," Zolda commanded.

"Yes, Emperor! But what are you gonna do?" Siska looked at Zolda, who sat cross-legged in the center of the room.

"Meditate. I need to perfect that 'Blood Sacrifice' technique. My body's wrecked from forcing it earlier," Zolda closed his eyes.

Suddenly, the giant screen flickered. A video started playing automatically. A handsome man with a sharp gaze very similar to Zolda's and a beautiful woman smiling gently appeared.

"Zolda, my son... if you're seeing this video, it means you've successfully found Sky Island," said the man in the video.

"Dad..." Zolda whispered, eyes fixed on the screen.

"Don't look for us now, Zolda. You're not strong enough to fight the true enemy. 'Seven Houses' are just pawns. There is a bigger organization above them, 'The Circle of Immortals'. They stole the secret of eternal life from our family," continued the man.

"Eternal life? These people are insane!" Navi whispered, shocked.

"Zolda, use everything on this island to build your strength. Be the Medical Emperor the world fears. Make them kneel, or destroy them if they refuse. And remember, the Kunao Inner Eye has a third level that can only be unlocked if you find the 'White Book' held by the Sky Family," the woman in the video added before the screen went black.

"Sky Family? The silver-haired woman earlier!" Zolda recalled the executor who saved him. "So she really is related to me!"

"Zolda, incoming call!" Navi yelled. "Encrypted line... from Mr. Baron!"

Zolda frowned. "Put it on."

A holographic screen showed Baron looking panicked. "Zolda! Help! Jakarta's chaos! The Wijaya family just announced you're an international terrorist who killed hundreds at the Hyatt! My assets are being seized by the government!"

"Hahaha! Widodo Wijaya playing dirty?" Zolda laughed dismissively. "Baron, relax. Tell the media you have proof Arka Wijaya is a biotech drug lord. Send all the data now!"

"But Zolda, they have the military!"

"Military is just people scared of dying from disease, Baron! Tell them, anyone touching your assets gets no treatment from me forever! Let them rot!" Zolda barked, radiating pressure.

"O-okay! I'll do it! But Zolda, one more thing... 'Seven Houses' sent an SSS-rank hitman for you. Named 'The Faceless Butcher'. He's at Jakarta's north port!"

"Faceless Butcher? Good name for my first corpse collection on this island," Zolda stood up, pain gone. "Baron, hold the line. Nav, Siska, gear up. First guest arriving soon."

"Zolda, radar shows a small boat breaching our illusion mist!" Navi panicked. "Crazy speed! No engine, it uses Qi!"

"Good. He's the guy. Siska, turn on defense systems but hold fire. I wanna play."

"On it, Boss!" Siska activated coastal laser turrets.

Zolda stood at the dock's edge, watching the fading mist. Out of it came a small wooden boat speeding without oars. On it stood a giant man nearly two and a half meters tall, holding a large axe coated in dried blood. His face covered by a horrifying human skin mask.

"Zolda... give the eyes... or I mince every inch of you..." The Butcher's heavy voice vibrated the water surface.

"Big talk for a guy scared to show his face!" Zolda grinned, activating Inner Eye. "Bone cancer in your left leg, huh? No wonder you walk crooked."

The Faceless Butcher paused. "How do you know?!"

"I know all your body's rot, monkey! Come here, free leg surgery!" Zolda dashed, flying over water, launching a golden punch.

BAAAMMM!

Butcher blocked with his axe handle. The impact exploded water ten meters high. The guy was strong, didn't budge.

"Strong but dumb! Useless against my axe!" Butcher swung blindly.

Zolda dodged smoothly, dancing on water. "Slow! Too slow for SSS-rank!"

Zolda landed, pulling thousands of silver needles. "Feel this, Soul-Piercing Rain!"

Cling! Cling! Cling!

Needles shot like bullets, but Butcher spun his axe like a propeller, deflecting them easily. "Just that?! Weak!"

"Who said that's my main trick?" Zolda smirked.

Suddenly, needles in the water glowed gold, forming an energy prison. Water under Butcher's feet froze, locking him.

"WHAT?! Water manipulation?!" Butcher panicked, stuck.

"Not just water, I manipulate surrounding Qi flow!" Zolda appeared in Butcher's face. "Now, while you're stuck, let's chat about who sent you?"

"Die, bastard!" Butcher tried to kick, but legs stuck.

"Okay, rough play. I'll pull your nerves one by one until you beg for death!" Zolda pressed a shoulder point.

"AAAAHHH! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! BURNING!" Butcher screamed, axe dropped.

"That's Hell Nerve. A thousand times worse than amputation without anesthesia. Still quiet?!" Zolda pressed harder.

"Okay! Okay! Mercy! Not Wijaya! 'The Circle of Immortals'! They want you as a guinea pig for immortality drugs!" Butcher gasped, sweating under the mask.

"The Circle, huh? Where's their HQ?!"

"I don't know... just radio orders... AGH! IT HURTS, STOP!"

Zolda released. "Useless info. But relax, I won't kill you. You're my new doorman. Nav! Brain control helm on this giant!"

"Ready, Boss!" Navi ran up with a small metal helmet.

"NO! NEVER! DEATH IS BETTER!" Butcher struggled, but Zolda hit his knockout point.

Thud! Giant collapsed.

"Done. Free bodyguard," Zolda walked back whistling.

Siska shook her head. "You're nuts, Zolda. Turning an assassin into a security guard."

"Cheaper than hiring, right? Plus he's strong," Zolda laughed.

Back inside, Navi worked data. "Zolda, big news. Wijaya family meeting three 'Seven Houses' heads on a luxury yacht in Jakarta Bay tonight. Dividing your 'dead' assets!"

"Oh really? Dividing my stuff while I'm breathing?" Zolda grinned demonically. "Nav, fastest boat. We're crashing the party."

"Zolda, you just fought! Energy isn't full!" Siska warned.

"I'll recover on the way. Seeing Widodo's face when I walk in? Priceless!" Zolda grabbed a fresh coat. "Let's go!"

Two hours later, calm Jakarta sea. 'The Golden Legacy' yacht party. Widodo toasted with three arrogant old men.

"Gentlemen, with Zolda dead and Navi gone, Mega Citra and Sky Family tech are ours!" Widodo laughed.

"Good job, Widodo. Now find Siska and get the database," said Elder Kim.

"Don't worry, Elder. My men are on it."

Suddenly, a loud crash shook the boat. Champagne glasses shattered.

"What's that?!" Widodo yelled.

The ballroom door exploded! Out of smoke walked a youth in a neat white coat, hands in pockets.

"Yo, dividing loot without me? That's my stuff!"

Widodo's eyes bugged out. "ZOLDA?! HOW ARE YOU ALIVE, BASTARD?!"

"Just back from hell, Widodo. Devils said I'm too handsome, sent me back for you!" Zolda walked to the table.

Elder Kim stood up. "Insolent! Who is this?!"

"It's Zolda, Elder! He killed my son, Arka!" Widodo shook, pulling a gun.

"Zolda? So you messed up Seven Houses' plans?" Kim glared. "We have hundreds of elite guards. You're suicidal!"

"Elite guards? Sleeping on the deck?" Zolda pointed outside.

Everyone looked. Hundreds of guards lay unconscious, unharmed.

"What... what did you do?!"

"Just gave them some 'sleeping powder' via air. Now, free check-ups for you four," Zolda smirked, Inner Eye glowing.

"Die!" Widodo fired wildly. BANG! BANG!

Zolda stopped bullets mid-air with two fingers. "Boring. Here, catch." Flick! Bullets reversed, piercing Widodo's hands.

"ARGH! My hands!" Widodo fell, dropping the gun. "Elder Kim, help! Kill him!"

Kim pulled a fan. High-level martial artist. "Young man, you have talent. But against my 'Wind Splitting Fan', you're nothing!"

Kim swung, wind blade aimed at Zolda's neck. Zolda tilted his head; blade punched a hole in the steel wall.

"Nice fan. Good for mosquitoes," Zolda mocked.

"Insolent!" Kim charged.

Zolda caught Kim's wrist, pressed a point. "Elder, blood clot in your right brain? Too much emotion causes stroke in three... two..."

Kim's face froze, mouth drooped, collapsed gasping.

"WHAT?! Kim stroked out?!" The other two paled.

"Who's next?" Zolda glared.

"Mercy! We just followed along!" They knelt.

"Assets to Navi. Now!" Zolda kicked one. "Widodo... special gift for you."

Zolda grabbed Widodo. "Remember my orphanage you bulldozed for a mall? Tonight, your mall goes flat, and you cover losses till you're broke!"

"Don't... that's my family's income..."

"Don't care! Come to my island. Need guinea pigs for new drugs," Zolda grinned.

Zolda dragged them out. Navi and Siska waited. "Done?"

"Done. Four lab rats. Siska, tubes ready?"

"Ready," Siska laughed coldly.

Walking back, Zolda's phone beeped. Video message. The silver-haired woman tied to an electric chair, beaten.

"Zolda... save her, come to 'The Circle of Immortals' HQ, Himalaya peak, 48 hours. Or receive her head!" Dragon Mask voice. Still alive!

"BASTARD! HE'S ALIVE?!" Zolda crushed the phone.

"Zolda, what?!" Navi panicked.

"She's captured. Dragon mask lives! We go to Himalaya!"

"Himalaya?! Suicide!" Siska warned.

"Don't care! She helped me! Info on parents!" Zolda looked north. "Nav, supersonic jet. Tonight!"

"But Zolda... problem..." Navi pointed at radar. "Warships approaching. Symbol... 'The Eighth House'! Strongest one!"

Zolda looked. A giant aircraft carrier emerged from mist. On it, a young man identical to Zolda stood.

"That... who?! Your twin?!" Navi shocked.

Zolda froze. Same aura. "Twin...?"

The man raised a gold sword. Shouted over speakers.

"Zolda! Finally! I am..."
