CHAPTER NINETY-SEVENAll through the recent years of his life, he had been forced to learn the sad lesson that trusting people could bring pain and agony, still reminded about the death of his parents.“Are you sure?” He looked Elias in the eyes, and then he took a deep breath.Elias saw the doubt buried deep in his eyes, and he assured him with a nod.“You have nothing to worry about, Lewis.” He assured, taking a deep breath.“Just come with me, and I will keep to all the promises I made to you.” He said calmly, and then he took a deep breath.“Come on, Lewis. We don’t have much time. I have so many things to do.” He took a deep breath, and then he cleared his throat. It took a while, but Lewis decided to go with him.“I need to get something.” He moved to another room behind him, and returned a few seconds later with a picture-frame in his hands, holding onto it tightly.Elias ’s eyes went to the pictures, and he sighed softly.“Are those your parents?” He asked, and Lewis nodded,

CHAPTER NINETY-SIXHe managed to locate the house, and as soon as he turned off the ignition, he walked to the door and knocked.Just like earlier, there was no response, but he didn’t mind knocking for as many times as it was going to take for him to get a response. At the fifth attempt, the door opened, and the boy put out his head, eyes wide when he saw Elias.“You are still alive?” He asked nervously, intense surprise shining in his eyes.He slowly scoured the entire premises, and his eyes went to the car behind the Grandmaster.“How are you still alive? And your car…” He turned to look at the car briefly. “It’s still intact. It was not destroyed.”Elias took a deep breath, and then he turned to take a look at his car.He chuckled when he returned his gaze to the boy, and then he held onto his smile.“Are you alone?” He asked, but the boy kept on staring at him, seeming like he was not going to break his silence.Elias took a deep breath, and the moment he pushed closer, the boy a

CHAPTER NINETY-FIVE “Yes! Yes, Grandmaster!” Taron nodded, and then he got up from his knees, wiping the tears all over her face. He turned to the men, and unbothered that they were weak, he forced them to stand. “Get up, all of you!” He ordered, grabbing a rod from the ground. “I am going to strike you if you don’t get up and fix the car you damaged!” He lifted the rod, ready to strike the man in front of him.All the men were forced to rise to their feet, and even in their battered states, they hurriedly grabbed the parts of the car and began to reassemble them at once. Elias inched closer to his car, stood, and watched with his hands folded. When the men saw him, they were afraid, hastening up with the car.“Hurry up, all of you!” Taron fired, turning to the Grandmaster. He saw the impatience glittering in Elias’s eyes, and he cleared his throat, pleading with his eyes. “They will soon be done, Grandmaster.” He assured, his voice weak and low. Elias didn’t say even a word

I think you should tell the men to stop!” He attempted to move toward the men, but Darius pushed him aside, lifting his balled fist like he was about to throw a punch.“You are no longer in charge, Taron! I am in charge now, and you should start getting used to it.”He had his eyes on Taron, thinking that he was going to fight him, but to his surprise, Taron didn’t seem to be in the mood for a fight. He inched closer to him, and with a trembling voice, he declared. “That’s the Grandmaster, Darius. CHAPTER NINETY-THREETaron gasped as soon as he saw this, turning to the Grandmaster whose anger was burning like magma."What have you done?” He muttered, his heart sinking into his belly. He couldn’t look at Elias; his eyes were just focused on the men who were ignorant of the fact that Elias was standing by the corner, watching as they hammered his car parts and dragged out as many parts as they could.Taron marched forward, and grabbing one of the men by the neck, he snatched the steering wheel he was holding from him and growled at him, panting heavily.“What’s the meaning of this?! Have you lost your senses?!”This left everyone speechless, and while they stopped everything they were doing, they turned to Taron, some of them dropping the objects they were holding.Taron turned to Elias, and when he saw his increasing rage, he swallowed hard, unable to find his composure.“Who gave the instruction to destroy this car?!” He asked, looking around him.He was angry and scared at the
