Lucas Prescott let out a Mockery laughter.
"Are you fucking kidding me, Huh?" He laughed at Caius, standing up from his seat.
"Back to your seat Lucas. Now!" Professor Dwayne snapped but Lucas was already up. The class knew him as the biggest bully, one of Thompson Parker's clique.
He wore a black jacket and a fashion jean that belonged to an expensive label, a Silver chain caught the light around his neck and scattered it across the room— an expensive arrogant guy. His eyes locked on Caius predatorily yet the corner of his lips had a smirk that was cold amusement.
"I give you five seconds to apologize." Caius's voice came loud and clear.
"This m*therfucker must be kidding me." Lucas repeated, stepping away from his desk. Never had he been challenged in the class. They knew him. He was Thompson's righthand. A rookie calling his bluff on his first day was really insulting.
"Lucas to your seat! Now! It's an Order!" Professor Dwayne shouted but he knew he couldn't do much. Three years teaching in the school, he'd learnt in a hard way to always stay out of the arrogant students fight. They owns the campus and the teachers are just like teaching slaves. The least he could do is scream for Order.
Once, he'd attempted to separate a fight between two students. He reprimanded the two students advising them to always make peace but in the following five minutes, police officers burst into his office accusing him of physical assault and intrusion. He was locked up for three days without commiting any crime.
Lucas was already heading toward the stage to meet Caius. He stood before his face, smirking in cruel amusement. Caius held his gaze unblinking.
"Five."
"Four."
Caius count down.
The hall was silent with anticipation.
"Three."
"What are you gonna do, Huh? Tough guy." Lucas Jabbed his finger to his chest. But it didn't meet. Caius gripped his finger and twisted it with a sharp crack.
"Ahhhh!!"
Lucas's scream tore out from his throat. He doubled over, gripped broken his finger in pain. Anger coursed through him instantly.
"Two."
"One."
"Are you mad!!" Lucas lunged at him. His fist coming straight to break his Jaw. Caius simply ducked and he was up already— very fast. He grabbed Lucas's wrist and pulled him to himself. His knee shot out, cracking into his stomach. Lucas's jaw parted as air force his way out of his mouth. He doubled over in pain. He couldn't scream instantly. He just crumbled at Caius feet in pain.
The hall went silent.
Rebecca from her seat with fallen jaw.
Professor Dwayne stared at the young man in shock.
Caius stepped closer to him. "The next time you speak about my mother like that, you won't just be kneeling—" He didn't finish. He just turned to the stunned professor and said politely. "I apologize for the little disturbance, Sir."
Professor Dwayne didn't speak instantly even the hall was still in silence.
Caius stepped to the stage.
"Once again, My name is Caius Kyoto. Thank you." He walked down the stage, his footsteps clicking softly on the Marble and found an empty seat at the back.
Lucas rose to his feet, his eyes redened with anger and embarrassment. The pride he upholds for four years, built from arrogance, connection and violence had just been shattered by a new student.
Lucas Prescott was insane with rage. His finger snapped at Caius. His voice cracked so as his finger pointed out trembled
"I swear I'm going to kill you!"
He stumbled out of the Hell. The door slammed shut.
Kingswell is a school where the Students makes the rule and break it. Majority of the students are from influential family background, bred in wealth that give them the sense of entitlement and arrogance. Students who had the slight opportunity of getting a scholarship into the school were prey to the rich bullies— some expelled themselves, some didn't even last two days before they quited. Lecturers weren't left out too — some resigned barely two weeks, others quit the job without any notice.
At that moment, the news of Lucas's fall had went viral and it was the biggest shocking news ever in the history of Kingswell.
Caius stepped out of the Classroom walking to the school cafeteria. His phone rang along the way. He picked it up with a frown. He looked around before he spoke.
"I told you not to call while I am in school, Alfred." He said, his voice tight.
"Young Master." A respectful voice came from the other end. "I called in to ask if I should pick you up with the Convoy after sc—"
"Heck! I told you to keep it quiet, Alfred!" His voice hardened. "Bring the Convoy and get fired."
"I'm sorry, young Master. I'm sor—"
Caius snapped the call and exhaled sharply before keeping his phone back in his pocket.
Some students along the hallway whispered about him.
"That's the new rookie who kicked Lucas Prescott *ss."
"Lucas got his b*tt whopped."
"Who's the guy? Looks like he's a nobody."
Caius walked into the School General Cafeteria, unaware that the news about the morning fuss with Lucas had gone wide. He paused at the door as a scene caught his eyes inside.
Inside was loud.
Students gathered around something or someone, chanting loudly.
"Eat it! Eat it! Eat it!"
Caius narrowed his eyes, stepping inside the Cafeteria.
"What is going on here?" He mumbled, curious.
He had no business with whatever was happening there but something caught his eyes at the centre that made his blood froze instantly.
A young girl sat at the centre of the crowd, her thick dark hair scattered over her head, dressed in a top that been smeared with punch juice dripping to his clothes. The students scattered food particles in her front, chanting for her to eat it up.
But that wasn't what really made Caius enraged.
It was when the young woman raised his head and,
Gasp!
It was her. The woman in his dream.
His destiny lover.
"Shut the hell up you morons!!"
His voice cut through the air trembling with rage.
The noises obliterated flatly.
Everyone turned remotely.
