Tama managed to follow the (actually, barred) instructions, making sure what he saw was not just a mere hallucination post accident. He swirled one of his right fingers to the right numerous times.
In sudden, a small wind breezed for about three seconds near him, where Tama stood in a building with no open windows, nor have Air Conditioner or fan on.
“Seems nothing significant,” the boy said. “That breeze… makes me realize I need more sleep.”
Tama thought one cause of the accident was him staying up late until 12 AM, due to him reading social media comments, where there’s so much debate in one reply section. It caused him to have sleep deprivation, which made him unable to focus on the road he rides. Still, that doesn’t justify what the bikers did might also at wrong.
He still thought what he saw in the early morning is a bit odd. A large bodied owl is unusual. Then it talks? Made it even freaky. That stuff must be some brain activity try to survive itself when being knocked up, doing a recovery.
There’s no such thing as a talking owl. It’s not real.
That eighteen year old boy decided to lay on the living room couch, immersed in his sleep.

Tama woke up. His body felt a different atmosphere that he couldn’t describe, it was a brand new feeling.
Until his eyes caught something odd when saw the bit of the closed window.
“Why is the sky purple already? It was morning, am I really sleeping that deep?”
His eyes quickly checked on the clock he could find in the whole living room.
It’s 8:43 AM.
“Huh? Am I really such a sleeper?” Tama burst out in confusion. “Is there some news that I didn’t know because I was sleeping, by any chance? Or is the clock battery runs out?”
Tama scanned that he might have slept too much until the evening, to explain why the sky was purplish.
Oh!
Tama was silent for a moment as he remembered what this reminded him of.
That early morning crash. The sky tint, the atmosphere, are both of similar vibe as far as he remembers. Although he wasn't sure, because at that time he was half-conscious and confused, in the end it wasn't a good memory.
This must be a dream, Tama convinced himself. It must be, it’s too freaky. A dream where I realize I am dreaming.
Tama can't even pick what's scarier: that he's actually a giant sleeper, or that he's in a weird dream-like mystical world where all sorts of oddities happen. He would be the social outcast he never wanted to be if he was such a giant sleeper, worsened by unemployment.
To be sure, the boy needed to check what was outside for himself. His feet began to walk to the house door.
But then, he stopped in front of the mirror that hung on the hallway. He noticed something that was even crazier than his common sense.
His eyes.
Tama approached the mirror to take a closer look at his eyes. "Oh wow. How come my dark eyes now have a slight green color?"
The boy with the spiky black hair has never been myopic, his eyesight works just fine. He also doesn't like cosplay and doesn't care enough about his appearance to look flashy or cool. So what is this about?
Again, a dream that I’m able to control. What else?
He also noticed how the mirror didn’t give accurate sharpness, it was a bit blurry, as if the dust was so much that it blurred the vision of anyone using the mirror.
“Uh, I think I need to clean the mirror. I never thought it was this dirty! A perk of someone who barely uses a mirror to look at himself often, won't even notice how dusty it is.”
Wait, why was it even dirty in the first place? Why did he have to bother it?
It's a dream, right? A dream where Tama can do anything he likes.
Oh.
If this is anything he likes, could he get a stable job? Could he be able to gain Janie, the minimarket girl, a heart to talk with?
Tama quickens his steps, in a goal to reach the house main door of mobility.
Unfortunately, that walk didn’t last long. He stopped shortly after he saw something.
A snake with glowing green eyes haunted his sight, looking at him in a high intensity gaze. The snake is medium sized, with the size of the large piton. The surreal sight suddenly reminded him of the owl he witnessed in the morning.
“OH! You don’t belong here, and you open!” the snake shouted.
Tama was confused and shocked as hell, but there’s something faster than his confusion and will to question anything: his footsteps to go back into the living room.
His mind wanted to make the snake go away so bad, he thought hard for it, but what gives? It won’t go away!
“It wasn’t a dream!?” Tama screamed at himself, uttered in confusion, from the hall.
Tama ran with his right hand index finger twisted around to the right numerous times, but it didn’t change anything. He changed the direction to the left soon.
A small breeze that wasn’t coming from his run hit him, though he can’t tell the difference. He didn’t even bother to care.
But in a few seconds, he heard…
“Tama? Why are you suddenly in the living room? Or is it because I have yet notice you earlier?”
All of sudden, Tama was able to hear his mother's voice. Tama responded with a puzzled look on his face. He then gazed at the window of the room.
Bright blue color of the morning.
Hold on… What?

The man in the car didn't continue driving. He locked the glance towards Tama's eyes while Tama was walking to the other side of the road, making the kid uncomfortable."Am I seeing something?" He freaked out. "It is something like..."Tama quickly made an excuse before the man continued to speak. "I am wearing contact lenses.""Pretty unusual for the contacts to have built-in glow-in-the-dark features," the man commented.Tama didn't bother to reply, he doesn't want to engage more in the conversation. The boy acted like he didn’t know the myth at all, like most of the youth in the suburb. Thus, the man continued to drive his car. What was that about? Tama wondered. So someone can see my eyes? Is that bad news or not?All the judgement would be made depending on the appearance of the stigma, wherever the inhabitants believe it or not. It had taken several seconds for Tama to realized, that his reaction to the bikers were taken by his brother as if his phone calls had ever end. Ando was able to hear it from the other side of the phone."Oh! I am sorry, bro!" Tama apologized. "Some of the bikers were bypassing me.""Are you walking as a pedestrian!?" From the voice, its clear that Ando was getting worried. "Oh God, I shouldn't call you in the middle of the road walking." "That's okay bro, it's neither of our faults. We should never worry if the authorities actually work to regulate those bike gangs."That single catastrophic event triggered Tama to many things at once. It broke his motorbike to the point it became a junk, and now he had to walk around since his savings have yet reached the minimum of second-hand motorbike price. Not to mention, death would approach Tama if he isn't lucky. Tama was extremely nervous. How would he reply?“I was lucky enough that I am still conscious, though,” he then answered.“Oh, I see,” Yana responded, flat. “Great that you turned up fine though. It’s a miracle.”“Haha, right,” that’s all Tama can say. He was highly nervous, because he can’t explain it. Not to mention, the thought that he might be in this “Green Eye” spiral myth that is not viewed good by the villagers. “I don’t need to pay hospital bills or its complicated administration.” Yana only hummed. “Well knowing this suburb economical dependence and condition… It’s better not being fractured at all. It’s already complicated in bureocracy, I won’t think anything beyond that.”Tama didn’t respond, and keep working to clean the glass. Actually, its more like Tama doesn’t know what kind of reply to cut the awkward, nervous conversation he had, so he could continue working instead.“I have noticed you have yet took a drink after few hours,” Yana commented. “Aren’t you thirsty?”
