Hearing this, all the employees quickly rushed back to their work while Gordon, Marcus, and Ryan rushed out to meet the chairman with their swollen faces.

"Chairman!"

Gordon crawled forward, his voice filled with helplessness and sorrow.

"Please punish him, sir; he attacked me and my colleagues while we were trying to query him on why he was absent the days before."

Ryan and Marcus nodded, their swollen faces and the guards lying on the floor were evidence of their words.

The entire floor was in chaos. Employees whispered among themselves, their gazes flickering between Russell and Jacob.

At the moment, Jacob's face was as dark as coal, his gaze landing on Russell.

"Russell," Jacob called, his voice cold and low.

"What exactly do you think you’re doing?" He roared, pointing at Russell, his body shaking.

Russell raised his head lazily, meeting his father's gaze. But then, he couldn't be too bothered to care about his father.

Standing behind Jacob was Anna and Ethan, both glaring at Russell.

If gazes could kill, perhaps he would have died maybe a hundred times over.

"Do you want to destroy the company?" Jacob barked, his voice exploding across the office, pulling Russell's attention back to him.

"Is that your plan now? Acting recklessly in front of employees? Beating staff members? Have you completely lost your mind?!"

The employees lowered their heads instantly. No one dared to say anything.

"Destroy the company?" Russell murmured lazily, staring back at his father.

He then glanced around toward the mess his father claimed he had made.

"I don’t care." Russell spread out his hand, shrugging.

"You don’t care?!" Jacob exploded almost immediately, rage rising with each second.

"This is your mother's company!" He roared, aiming to deter Russell with those words.

"My mother's company?" Russell chuckled, clicking his tongue.

"You knew this was my mother's company, huh?" Russell continued, his voice slightly raised as his rage burned.

"And yet, you let these clowns run wild. You turned a blind eye to my bullying. Let me work as a lowly data sorting assistant for years?"

"And now, you have the nerve to say it's my mother's company?"

"Do you even deserve to remind me of that?" Russell's voice turned cold as he glared at his father.

Gordon’s face turned pale, swallowing the lump in his throat. Seemed like he had gotten into a sticky situation.

"I..." Jacob hesitated for a moment, then yelled.

"Get out!"

"Get out of my company," He continued, pointing at the door.

Instantly, Anna crossed her arms, satisfaction flashing in her eyes. She had been waiting for this all along.

All she and her son had been doing was to make sure Russell didn't get anything from the company.

"Get out?" Russell burst out into laughter.

"Out of your company, you say?" He mused, smiling lightly.

"Well, I'm afraid that would be impossible."

"What did you just say?" Jacob froze, not believing his ears. This rebellious brat, what the heck was he trying to do again?

"If I remember correctly, I own thirty percent of the shares." Russell announced, placing his hands behind his back as he stepped forward slowly.

Silence fell on the place, none able to say anything. Was Russell bluffing?

Nah, that wasn't the case; the expression on the chairman's face said it all.

"What nonsense are you spouting now?" Anna snapped, though her voice trembled slightly. There was no way that was supposed to happen, right?

She had made sure Jacob didn't transfer any of his shares out.

"Nonsense?" Russell scoffed, then grabbed a document he had casually placed on the table when he walked in.

"What's this?" He continued, throwing the documents to Anna, who took it hurriedly and scrambled to open it.

Anna’s face drained of color. She couldn't believe Russell really held thirty percent of the shares.

"How… how is that possible?" Ethan stammered, his body shook, eyes opening wide, his face white.

"Oh? You didn’t know?" Russell mocked, stepping forward, taking away the documents.

"Of course, I have my lovely father to thank for that." He smiled, his gaze landing back on Jacob.

Jacob’s fingers trembled. How did this brat do it? Just how? The agreement wasn't supposed to take place until he signed it, right?

"And oh, if you're worried about how this came into effect, then I have to thank my mother for seeing through you long before her death," Russell spoke, answering the question in Jacob's mind.

"You see, my mother had long guessed you wouldn't want to hand over the shares, so there's another will which states that if you refuse to do so, then that will be void, and there's a whole new transfer agreement with your signature and hers on it."

Jacob's eyes widened, but he couldn't say anything. He knew it; his late wife was cunning, else there was no way she would have been able to build the company from scratch.

But he didn't expect her to take such measures. Seemed like he had lost too terribly.

"Even if you have thirty percent, so what?!" Ethan sneered, his voice dripping with malice.

"Yes!" Anna added quickly.

"The board won’t support you!"

Jacob finally regained his composure. His expression hardened.

Yes, the board would never support such a brat, and there would be nothing he would be able to do.

In the future, he would be able to take back his shares.

"You think holding thirty percent gives you control?" Jacob stepped in.

"You’re naive." He carried on, eyes still locked onto Russell.

"The other shareholders would never support you, so why do you think you have any leverage, huh?"

"Actually," Russell answered, pausing to observe the look on Jacob's face.

"I really don't care," He said, spreading out his arms.

"I never needed their support; I only came to inform you of something," Russell continued casually.

"Prepare to get your asses out of the company, 'cause soon, I'll be coming back to take all that's mine."

Jacob froze, his eyes nearly popping out of their sockets, then he burst out into laughter.

"You’re delusional."

"Am I?" Russell's mouth curved up into a smile, a glint flashing in his eyes.

When his mother had taken over the company, she was the sole owner. It was only after her death that his father, in his incompetence, began to sell the shares.

He had sold so much over the years he barely had ten percent left. Initially, what his mother wanted was for him to live a happy life with the dividends of the thirty percent, in fear his father might not care for him.

His shares were never more than his father's. His father held most of it back then.

But now? He had barely ten percent after selling most of it off. What Russell wanted was to buy it all back.

"In any case, I've said all I have to say, I'll be taking my leave." With that, Russell turned around, preparing to leave, not caring about their expression.

Rejecting fifteen million? If it were not for the guards present, they wanted to rush forward and beat the heck out of him. How dare he reject such an amount?Didn't he know who he was talking to?
