I have a wife, a daughter, a clan, and a lifetime of memories, but now you’re telling me I’m a copy?”He sighed.“Couldn’t you have sent a letter?”Lucy stared at him in disbelief.“Kael!”“What?” He glanced at her. “I’m trying to understand my family tree. Apparently, it’s become a forest full of monsters.”Despite the situation, Lucy almost laughed.Almost.Because the shadow suddenly raised its hand.Every building in Ravenhart shook. The sky turned black, and countless cracks spread across the heavens. Within those cracks, golden eyes opened one after another, watching Kael like prisoners waiting for their master to return. The shadow

His throne. His power. Even the right to decide my fate.”He extended his hand.“And after taking everything from me, you abandoned me in that prison.”Kael’s heart tightened.Fragments of memories stirred, but they remained beyond his reach.“I don’t remember doing any of that.”“Of course you don’t!”Lucien’s voice suddenly sharpened.“That’s what you always do!
