Several high elders gasped. "That's one of the clan's strongest offensive techniques! He intends to kill Kael! He's using his trump move immediately! Kael was really going to die or fortunately, crippled!"

Golden flames erupted around Cedric, bathing the entire arena in brilliant light.

His sword seemed to transform into a miniature sun.

Yet Kael never moved.

    The atmosphere instantly tensed up. Cedric's aura erupted, filling the arena. A while ago, it would have forced Lucy to her knees, but with Kael here, she didn’t feel an inch of it. Cedric frowned, realizing he didn’t get the desired effect, so he released more aura, this time even adding a little of his elemental qi to it. Kael slowly turned around. He didn't even bother releasing his aura but it seemed like Cedric's aura couldn't even come close. His eyes met Cedric's. "All this time and you haven't changed. You're still just as arrogant and ignorant as always.”Cedric burst into an enraged laughter. “You’re the arrogant one.” He willed his aura back to himself.
