Rahayu screamed hysterically.

Several residents who were not far from the accident site began to notice the commotion.

Some even started to approach. One resident was seen raising his mobile phone as if to record the scene.

"Damn it, people are coming!" Seeing this, Rinto immediately growled in annoyance. "Hurry! There are lots of people!"

Zaqqy, who was half-conscious, was immediately dragged into the car.

Rahayu tried to get up and run towards them.

"Don't take him! Please!"

Brugh!

But Malik pushed her roughly. Rahayu fell onto the road. Meanwhile, several people began to run closer.

"What's going on?!" shouted the residents.

"Why are you taking him away by force?!" shouted another.

Seeing people starting to gather and some of them recording with their mobile phones, Rinto immediately made a decision.

"Enough! Just leave the woman!"

"But Bang—" Malik looked hesitant.

"Hurry up!"

The car door was immediately closed. The car engine roared loudly. The car sped away with Zaqqy.

Rahayu could only cry hysterically in the middle of the road.

"Zaqqy..."

Several residents immediately came to her aid.

"Are you alright?"

Rahayu shook her head while crying.

"He... they took him..."

With the help of the residents, Rahayu stood up and picked up Zaqqy's mobile phone, which had fallen on the road.

Without a second thought, she jumped onto Zaqqy’s motorbike, which still started. The motorbike sped off towards Zaqqy’s house.

When she arrived, Zaqqy’s mother was sweeping the yard. The woman was startled to see Rahayu in such a dishevelled state.

"Oh, Rahayu? What happened to you?"

Rahayu immediately hugged her while crying.

"Ma'am... Bang Zaqqy..."

"What happened to Zaqqy?" asked the middle-aged woman, confused.

With a faltering voice, Rahayu explained everything.

Zaqqy's mother's face immediately turned pale. Her body felt weak until she sat down on the floor.

"Oh God... my son..."

Rahayu cried even harder.

"I'm sorry, ma'am... this is all my fault..."

The mother tried to hold back her tears.

"Ma'am, what's wrong?" her husband's voice was heard from inside.

"Nothing... nothing's wrong. You go home first," replied Zaqqy's mother, immediately standing up to go inside.

"But Mum—"

"We'll report it to the police later. Zaqqy will be fine."

The woman tried to appear strong even though her heart was filled with anxiety. She went inside to meet her husband.

Rahayu fell silent. Seeing that Zaqqy's mother did not come out, Rahayu decided to leave, as her house was not far from Zaqqy's.

Meanwhile, far from that place, the car carrying Zaqqy continued to drive away from the city.

Finally, they stopped at a remote place filled with large trees and bushes.

The car door opened.

Zaqqy, who was still half-conscious, was pulled out roughly.

Brugh!!

"Argh..." Zaqqy groaned in pain.

His body was immediately pushed to the ground.

"This is what happens when you cause trouble!" Rinto snapped, picking up a round piece of wood from the ground near the tree.

Bugh!

Bugh!

Rinto immediately slammed the round piece of wood down hard and rained kicks down on Zaqqy's body.

"Argh..." Zaqqy moaned weakly.

The young man was unable to fight back. Blood flowed from his temple, his lips were split, as was his nose.

"What should we do with him, bro? If he lives, we could get in trouble too," asked Malik.

Rinto grinned, staring at Zaqqy.

"Just beat him to death."

Bugh!

Bugh!

He hit him again with the log and kicked Zaqqy's body brutally. A few moments later, the young man's body was no longer moving.

"Looks like Zaqqy is dead, bro," said Malik, a little hesitant.

"Good, let's go. Let his body rot in this forest," said Rinto, grinning smugly.

They then got back into the car. The car drove away, leaving Zaqqy's body lying on the ground.

Wossssh...

The sky suddenly turned dark. The wind blew strongly.

Blarrr....

Thunder rumbled in the sky, and heavy rain fell, soaking Zaqqy's motionless body.

"Damn you, Durjana people!"

A deep voice emerged from the heavy rain.

A few moments later, his fingers moved, revealing that the young man was still alive. He tried to get up, clutching the wet ground.

"Are you still alive, young man?" asked the deep voice.

"Who is that?.." Zaqqy asked back as he sat leaning against a large tree.

"I am Ksatria Braja."

"What? Where are you?" Zaqqy was confused; there was no one else but him.

"You're leaning your body against me..."

"Huh?.." Zaqqy startled, seeing only an old banyan tree.

"If I give you strength, would you want it?" the disembodied voice asked again.

"Who?! Who are you? Where are you?" Zaqqy began to panic, terrified.

"Hahahaha... I am inside this old banyan tree, young man."

"What?... Impossible!"

he remarked to Stella without looking up from the paper in front of him.“Yes, there was an impromptu meeting this morning, so I had to hurry. Oh, by the way, here’s a dinner invitation from the Dinar Lodaya family for you,” said Divo as he placed the golden-yellow invitation card on the table.A strong scent of sandalwood immediately wafted through the air, causing Stella to frown. “Why does it smell so overpowering?”“That’s the Dinar Lodaya family’s signature scent. You know they’re absolutely mad about the smell of sandalwood,” replied Divo.Stella examined the details of the invitation. Her eyes widened slightly when she saw the date. “Today? Seven o’clock this evening? Why so sudden? I thought it was tomorrow or the day after.”“It was originally scheduled for the day after tomorrow, but the date’s been brought forward. If you’re tired and don’t want to go, that’s fine,” Divo offered.“Of course I have to go! There’ll be plenty of high-society contacts there, including th

Stella was slightly taken aback by Angela’s news. She gave a faint smile whilst nodding slowly.“All right, I’ll check later to see whether the invitation has reached the Syailendra residence or not. Oh, and Mum and Dad are also leaving for Germany soon,” said Stella.“Are your parents planning to meet the Wisanggeni family because of the news of Nilam Harum Cempaka’s return?” asked Angela probingly.“Exactly, Angela. It seems your predictions are always spot on.”“That’s only to be expected, as my Mum and Dad are also going to visit them. I don’t know what’s actually going on, but they say the Wisanggeni family’s youngest daughter has been eagerly awaited for a very long time. Not just thirty years, apparently… hundreds of years,” whispered Angela seriously.“What do you mean?” Stella frowned, looking intently at her friend. Angela glanced hesitantly towards Zaqqy, who was standing not far from them. Realising her friend’s unease, Stella reassured her, “Don’t worry, he’s my ve

“We’re fine, son. Don’t worry too much about it. We’re well looked after here, too.”“Thank goodness for that. Zaqqy suddenly thought of Mum and Dad. How are things financially for the next few days?”“We’re fine financially, son. There’s enough for Mum and Dad. You don’t need to worry; Mum’s still doing the washing and ironing. Alhamdulillah, every time I come home I always get a side dish, sometimes two packets of rice—enough for the two of us,” his mum replied reassuringly.“Thank goodness. The main thing is that Mum and Dad are well. Zaqqy hopes Dad can hold out until payday, so that Zaqqy can take Dad to hospital for his operation.”“Yes, son. Let’s pray for the best; may Allah make things easier for us. Most importantly, you must stay healthy over there.”“Thank you, Mum. I hope everything goes smoothly. I’ll hang up now, Mum; it’s time to look after my employer.”“Yes, Zaqqy. Be careful at work, son. Look after your health, eat well, and don’t stay up late.”“Yes, Mum.

“Get some rest. It’s no easy task to track down the master of the Brajamusti spell.” Dwi Toro fell silent for a moment before plucking up the courage to ask, “Sir, to be honest, I’d like to know… just how important is the master of the Brajamusti spell to us?” “Of course he’s important. It is said that the original master of the spell was a knight who vanished without a trace. He possessed the Three Mustika, the whereabouts of which remain unknown to this day. If my hunch is correct—that the young man’s spell originates from that knight—then we need him to obtain those Three Mustika,” explained the Chief at length. Dwi Toro was stunned. He lay silent on his bed as the Chief walked away, leaving him alone. “What sort of knight?” muttered Dwi Toro. He got up and stood in front of the one-and-a-half-metre-tall teak mirror. Dwi Toro looked at his reflection, clad only in his underpants. He saw a bluish bruise on his chest. “The blow from the Brajamusti spell… it could even leave

Lesmana immediately went into his younger brother’s private room. He saw the remnants of the ritual performed by Dwi Toro. With a deep sigh, he walked out onto the balcony and gazed up at the night sky. His eyes fell upon a cigarette butt at the edge of the balcony. He picked it up; there was still a little tobacco left in it. Lesmana lit it and took a deep drag.Instantly, Lesmana’s clairvoyant abilities kicked in. He tried to peer through time to see what his younger brother had been doing. However, Lesmana was startled.“Why did that flash of vision disappear right here in this room? What was he actually doing?” Lesmana wondered. “And that young man… why was he being targeted by Dwi Toro?”He stamped out the cigarette butt and returned to the room. Although the traces of the ritual had been cleaned away, the large mirror that usually stood there was now nothing but shards. Lesmana approached the broken glass and saw the splattered bloodstains. He scraped a little of the dried

“The Wisanggenis? Aren’t they that mysterious family?” Stella frowned. “Yes. They live in Germany. Rumour has it their youngest daughter is coming to Indonesia soon. Before that happens, Papa has to visit them. You must catch her attention. If you can win her heart, the Syailendra family’s power will flourish even more. Do you understand?” “What do you mean by making me their pet, Papa? I don’t want to be under someone else’s control. I want my own power,” protested Stella. “It’s different, darling. The Wisanggeni family are very different. Their youngest daughter is no ordinary woman.” “What do you mean, Papa?” “I can’t explain much because it’s a secret. But once you’ve met her, you’ll understand who she is and just how powerful she is. You’ll see for yourself. Let’s wrap this conversation up. Don’t linger—it’s late. We’ll talk about it again another time.” After the discussion about the Wisanggeni family had ended, they remained seated together in the living room. Hardin
