The footsteps of Elden, Kaelar, Vaelis, and Renard echoed along the narrowing stone corridor. The air around them began to change, growing colder and heavier, as if something unseen was pressing down on them. The dim light from the torch Vaelis carried cast long shadows on the walls, creating the illusion that they were not alone.

After walking for several minutes, they finally arrived before a massive gate made of intricately carved black metal. The engravings depicted a great dragon with outstretched wings, its eyes appearing to watch anyone who stood before it.

Kaelar placed his hand on the gate. "So, this is Ardent Fortress?"

Renard nodded. "This is the entrance. But getting inside won’t be that easy."

Elden stepped forward, sensing something strange about the gate. "Why not?"

Renard looked at him seriously. "This gate will only open for those with the blood of a true dragon. Without it, anyone who tries to enter will die on the spot."

Elden felt his heart beat faster. "So, I have

He scanned his surroundings, trying to comprehend where he was.The cavern he had landed in was vast, its walls lined with ice that shimmered like glass. Faint light seeped through cracks above, offering some illumination, but most of the space remained cloaked in darkness.Elden attempted to stand, but his body still felt weak. He steadied himself and gripped Drakensoul tighter."I have to find the others," he muttered. He began walking slowly, following the seemingly endless path through the cavern. His footsteps echoed, amplifying the eerie silence around him. After several minutes, he stumbled upon something strange a marking on the icy wall, shaped like the same dragon symbol engraved on his arm.Elden frowned. "What is this...?"He stepped closer and touched the symbol. The moment his finger

But they had no choice.Veylan, who had been quiet, finally spoke. "I don’t like this. It’s too quiet."Luthen frowned. "What do you mean?"Veylan gestured around them. "There should be more tracks here. But there’s nothing."Elden realized he was right. The mountains were usually filled with wild creatures, yet they had seen none.Kaelar gripped his sword. "I have a bad feeling about this."Just then, the wind that had been merely a strong breeze turned into a violent storm. Snow whirled through the air, obscuring their vision.Renard raised his staff, trying to dispel the winds with magic, but the storm only grew stronger. Then, heavy footsteps echoed through the mist."Get ready!" Kaelar shouted.A massive figure emerged, slowly coming into view.Elden squinted. "What is that?"As the wind momentarily calmed, they finally saw it, a to

They continued forward along the rocky path, drawing ever closer to the Glacier Mountains. The air grew colder, and a thick mist began to envelop their path. The once-bright sky had darkened as if something was blocking the sunlight.Elden gripped Drakensoul tightly. After defeating the shadow wolves, he felt more connected to the sword. But deep in his heart, he knew there was still much he did not understand.Kaelar walked ahead, his sharp eyes scanning every inch of the road. “This mist is unnatural,” he said, waving his hand through the air.Luthen nodded. “This is no ordinary mist. There’s magic surrounding it.”Vaelis observed their surroundings warily. “I don’t like this. It feels like something is watching us.”Renard, who was usually full of confidence, seemed tense this time. “Let’s just hope we don’t run into anything weirder than those shadow wolves.”Finally, Veylan, who had been silent at the back, spoke. “Be careful. We’re entering a place known as the Dark Mist Corrid

Luthen approached the man. “If you were truly the protector of the Dragon King, why did you become a seal?”The man lifted his head, his eyes filled with deep sorrow. “My name is Veylan. I was the last knight sworn to protect the final Dragon King.”Elden tensed upon hearing that name. The legends he had read spoke of Veylan as one of the warriors who disappeared after the great war between humans and dragons.Veylan let out a heavy sigh before continuing. “When the war ended and the Dragon King vanished, I was left with one duty, to guard his last legacy, Drakensoul. But the sword’s power was too great, and many sought to claim it. I knew that if it fell into the wrong hands, the world would be plunged into ruin once more.”He looked at Elden. “So, I did the only thing I could. I sacrificed my body, sealing myself away with the sword, becoming a guardian who would let no one touch it… until the rightful heir arrived.”Elden swallowed hard. “And now… that’s me?”Veylan nodded. “You ca

The room was still filled with the lingering energy of their battle. The air trembled with the remnants of magic that had yet to fully dissipate. Elden stared at the ancient engraving that Vaelis had just uncovered. A faint golden light still shimmered around it, as if waiting to be further revealed.Luthen knelt, tracing the inscription with his fingers. “This is no ordinary symbol. It’s a seal, locking something away within this fortress.”A chill crawled up Elden’s spine. “Locking what?”Luthen exhaled. “That’s what we need to find out.”Kaelar remained alert, his eyes scanning every corner of the room. “If the Black Order wants this, then whatever is hidden here must be incredibly valuable. We need to move fast.”Renard scoffed. “And how exactly do we do that? I don’t see any secret handles or magical buttons here.”Vaelis studied the engraving carefully. Then, his gaze shifted to the nearby wall, where he noticed a circular indentation, as if meant to hold something.“Elden, try
