Chapter 11

Eric was made into a punching bag in which both the wife and mother in law vented their anger on saying that since his entrance into their lives and family they had been falling from grace to grass.

 But Eric happily endured the pain and suffering since he was the one that brought it upon the duo but he was dispirited when he saw how his son was wailing out his eyes when he saw his father being bullied by his mother and grandmother.

      The next day, very early in the morning, Susan and Scarlett got up to go to the company to see the new CEO to reinstate them but they were disappointed because they were denied entrance in the company and we're treated like dogs that came to beg. 

        The securities at the gate told them it was an order from above not to allow Scarlet Woodley and her mother in the company premises and any one that allows them would also lost his or her job and no one is ready for them and which cause them to fear the new management in power especially the new CEO since everyone knows that he himself made those statements and no one was ready to cross him for the sake of Scarlett and her mother because no one knows what they did to offend the new CEO.

      As they were cursing the security men and the authorities for not allowing them inside, the police were called on them reporting them for disturbing the peace of the company.

      Immediately they heard the police was called on them, they increased their pace to leave the premises.

         On their way , they were both going through their contact list to check to see if any one have a close relationship with the new CEO and everyone was replying them "I can't afford to offend the new CEO because I heard he has a powerful family behind him and he is being secretive about his status".  

       Susan advised Scarlett to call Frank her new Fiance since her current husband and baby father has proven himself to be a nobody and there is no way he can help them but would  rather add more oil to the burning fire because of his wretched and low status and not knowing he is the cause of their present predicament and also they had forgotten that no condition is permanent.

     After few rings the line was picked and a crying voice was heard with Scarlett acting pitiful on the phone crying out her heart to Frank not knowing that things are not also looking good for him as well. 

         Though his contract and employment was not terminated but it would have been better if it was terminated because his condition was much worse than Scarlett and Susan; the only difference between them is that he is still employed while they are not.

      He was made to lose his recent endorsements, the few leading roles given to him by a popular producer in the industry to some new comer in the industry: it was an huge fall from grace to grass for him.

    He really had it hard, he was made to act in low selling and less popular movies as a stunt which he wanted to opt out from but he was threatened that he would not be able to work in the whole of LA in his life.

    As he was saying these things, Scarlett tears was intensified as she was lamenting that who did they offend that is causing all these wickedness to them. I got to go said Frank as they heard he was being called and the call was disconnected .

      On getting Eric was met waiting for them outside the house because he was told not to leave the house until they are back from the company but he was not told about the employment termination which he already knows about.

     Getting down from the sedan car, a slap was earned by Eric from his mother in law saying you good for nothing son in law since your entry into our family bad things has been our portion make you divorce my daughter because sha has not been gaining any benefit from marrying you.

      His clothes and his hair was pulled, it was a huge embarrassment for him but he was already used to him so he silently suffered it knowing that he was going to have the best laugh after all  

     He was pulled into his taxi to go and make money for them and that it's until when he has earned five thousand dollars he should not return home.

He was happy that he was released early and that his son Mako was not around to witness his humiliation because he was already thinking he was going to miss his class.

He drove at a very high speed to the Storm House so as to meet up with the class early though he is already their head but he felt that as a responsible head he should keep up with appointments and that he should not give his workers the notion that he is an irresponsible leader.

As he was seen approaching the gateof the house, the security ushered him in with respect since he is their new leader and he answered their greetings with a curt nod.

He hurried inside but he met Carlos standing in the doorway .

"Dad good morning, " he greeted Carlos. 

"My son there is no need to hurry at all since we are all gathered here because of you so even though we've not seen you, we would have to wait for you and again I already learnt if what happened this morning"  Carlos said. 

"How did you learn of what happened or are you monitoring me by your men, oh have forgotten that you are still the great Mr Storm of LA" he queried Carlos. 

          I'm so sorry my son he said, I know you hate been monitored, I beg of your pardon but I cannot risk you been maltreated by those evil women. Let's hurry inside so as to start your class early. 

        He hurriedly change into a three piece ash coloured suit, took breakfast and entered into the room used for the class.
