"I am Dreavon."
Rhys's jaw fell open when he heard what the man in front of him said as he was convinced at this point that he was absolutely hallucinating.
Dreavon was one half of the Sol brothers, the most revered gods of the Tower Of Ascension.
They were the patron gods of the Tiger Guild, the number one guild on Earth and were considered to be strongest patrons to worship amongst all other religions.
Amongst the two brothers, according to folklore, Dreavon was the elder brother and the strategist, with him being revered and feared highly for his brains and intellect by all other deities.
There was a popular saying that if it was Dreavon making a war plan, then the battle was over before it even started as he was hailed as the invincible god who had never lost a war in his entire existence.
The younger brother Caden was given the tag 'War God' and was worshiped as the ultimate warrior.
In ancient lore, he was depicted as a bloodthirsty beast who thrived on a bloody battlefield, with the lore saying that he had the unique ability to manipulate blood to his will.
Throughout history, there were only two confirmed cases of him fighting a battle personally and it was said that dozens of gods died every time he snapped his fingers, forcing entire armies of immortals quake and retreat when he joined the battlefield.
Individually, both Dreavon and Caden were fearsome enough to have a strong cult following, however, together they became the Sol brothers, who were simply unstoppable.
On Earth, one could find a Sol worship temple every five streets, with people worshiping Dreavon by offering milk over his idol, while they offered lamb or goat blood to appease Caden.
The ardent followers of the cult displayed an unwavering devotion to the Sol brothers with their faith being so intense that they would readily sacrifice an arm and a leg for just a fleeting five-second encounter with these beings.
This extreme devotion was precisely why Rhys found it difficult to accept that he was actually in the presence of one of the Sol brothers, as it was nothing short of a miracle or a dream come true.
"Glory to Sol." Rhys said reverently as he fell to his knees and kowtowed before Dreavon by laying flat on the ground.
"At ease." Dreavon replied as he patiently waited for Rhys to come back to his feet.
"I know what you're thinking, you don't believe this is real and you're not wrong. This isn't actually real and you're not really in my presence.
If this were my actual body, you would be incinerated from my aura alone, so be glad this is not real." Dreavon said as he affirmed Rhys's belief that this was not a real meeting, but rather his mind playing tricks on him.
"But, it might as well be real, as what I'm about to tell you is very much real," Dreavon said as Rhys felt confused as to what the supreme god really wished to convey.
"You might not be aware of this, as she kept it a secret from everyone including you, however, your sister was my chosen champion and I had blessed her with a cheat code that would more or less ensure that she became a powerhouse in the future, however, a few hours before that incredible power could truly become hers, someone kidnapped her and tried to forcefully absorb the powers I endowed to her." Dreavon said, as Rhys's eyes widened in disbelief.
"Violet was your champion? Do you know where she is? Do you know what happened to her?" Rhys asked in a hurry with panic evident in his voice as he displayed his concern for his sister's well-being.
Alas, he was asking these questions to the wrong being as Dreavon shook his head in annoyance.
Naturally, he too wished that he had the answers to these questions but unfortunately he did not.
"Like I said, this is not my real body and the knowledge this portion of my consciousness possesses is really limited.
So unfortunately, I don't have the answer to your questions." Dreavon said, as Rhys felt extremely disappointed.
"The power that I passed onto her as my champion was such that before it fully became hers, If someone successfully killed her, then it would be automatically passed onto them.
Now fortunately, the people who kidnapped her, did not actually kill her but tried to perform a forceful takeover of her body by manipulating her soul, which was why they broke the seal binding my power to her, giving me a unique opportunity that was not a part of my initial plan." Dreavon said as a soft smile spread on his face.
"Your sister was my first choice for becoming my champion, the first champion I've chosen in the history of the universe as in my opinion she had every quality needed to become a great individual.
Unfortunately, circumstances have forced me to alter my plan, however, before this piece of my consciousness parted ways with Violet, she requested that this power be passed down to you, as in her opinion if this great strength could not be hers then you were the next best choice I could make." Dreavon said as he softly spread his wings and levitated into the sky.
"Rhys Reynolds, you were not the champion I wished to choose, but you shall now be endowed with the power which was originally meant for your sister.
Use it right and perhaps you will be able to save her from her grim fate, fail and you will probably end up hunted and captured just like her.
Because of the unexpected interference, it will take time for the system I'm passing onto you to reach its full glory, however, it should improve in function and capabilities as you progress as a warrior.
With you being my champion, your life won't be peaceful or easy. However, it will help you attain the power you need, to protect those you love." Dreavon said as his floating body began to glow brightly, blinding Rhys by blending perfectly into the surroundings as a streak of pure white light.
*GAHHHH*
Rhys woke up with a start, drenched in sweat from head to toe as a blue screen lit up in front of him.

Chapter 305
Varyn’s victory was an enormous relief to everyone in Tramak-Tor. For days, the villagers had lived with the fear that their poisoned water source would eventually force them into a war with Goruk-Tor. Now, the creature responsible for their suffering was dead, and for the first time in a long while, they could imagine having a normal life again. There was another reason Varyn’s battle had left such a strong impression on them. Most of the villagers had never seen a Battle-Mage fight before. They had grown up believing that an Orc’s greatest weapon was simply the strength of his body, so seeing Varyn combine physical power with magic opened their eyes to an entirely different path.Orcs were naturally gifted with tremendous physical strength. From childhood, they were taught to train their bodies, build their muscles, improve their endurance, and become stronger than the generation before them. For most Orcs, that was enough. Their entire society revolved around physical power, and th
Chapter 304
When they finally arrived at Tramak-Tor, the Orcs immediately led Varyn toward the contaminated lake. The difference between the village’s former water source and what stood before him was shocking. The lake had once been clear enough to drink from, but now its surface was covered by a murky green film. Strange bubbles rose from beneath the water, bursting with a foul smell that reminded Varyn of rotting plants and dead animals. The closer he got, the worse the smell became.Villagers had gathered around the shoreline. Some had come because they wanted to see whether Varyn could actually defeat the snake, while others simply wanted to witness the end of the nightmare that had ruined their lives.Their faces carried a mixture of fear and hope.Varyn tightened his grip on his staff-ax.“Varyn will end this.”His voice carried across the lake.He was confident, but he also understood the responsibility resting on his shoulders. Two villages were depending on him. If he failed, the confli
Chapter 303
Early the next morning, Varyn left Goruk-Tor by himself and headed toward the neighboring village. He had spent most of the previous night thinking about his father’s words, and by dawn, he had already made up his mind. If the snake in the lake was truly responsible for the growing conflict between the two villages, then killing it could solve more than one problem at once.According to what Varyn had learned, the creature was only a Tier 3 beast. On dry land, it would not have been particularly dangerous to someone of his current strength. The problem was that the snake had made its home inside the lake. Most Orcs were poor swimmers and had little experience fighting underwater, so the creature’s natural advantage had turned what should have been a manageable threat into a serious problem.Varyn, however, had no intention of letting that stop him.He wanted to help both villages. Goruk-Tor was his home, but the Orcs of Tramak-Tor were not his enemies either. Their desperate attempts
Chapter 302
Only after Varyn stepped into his father’s hut did he finally get a moment of peace. The noise from the villagers outside became distant, allowing him to relax, but his eyes immediately began searching the familiar room.He was looking for his mother.“Your mother is not here, Varyn… She’s challenging floor 35 as we speak. I don’t think you shall be able to meet her unless you plan on staying a few days,” Chief Caryn explained, noticing his son’s disappointment.“Oh…” Varyn replied, unable to hide the sadness in his voice. He had been looking forward to seeing his mother, and the thought of missing her after being away for more than a year left him disappointed.“Don’t be too sad! You can still spend time with your old man… ain’t I enough?” Chief Caryn asked with a teasing smile.Varyn laughed.“Of course you are enough, old man. I’m not sad…”The lie was obvious, but Caryn knew better than to force the matter.Instead, he gave his son a knowing smile before asking the question he had
Chapter 301
Kratos was not the only one with unfinished business elsewhere in the universe. Varyn also had a reason to return home, and after spending more than a year away, he was more than ready to see the people who had watched him leave for university with pride and high hopes. The moment he reached the outskirts of his Orc Village, excitement filled him. He had spent so long away that even the familiar mountains and fields made him feel strangely nostalgic.“Oye! Caryn, look, Varyn is back! That weakling is home!” Guhara shouted to Caryn. The two childhood friends had been working in the fields just outside the village when they spotted Varyn approaching. They immediately dropped their farming tools and ran toward him.“HAHAHA! Caryn!” Varyn called happily.“BRING IT!” Varyn shouted, planting his feet firmly on the ground. A confident grin spread across his face as he prepared for the traditional Orc greeting.“Urararararara!” Caryn and Guhara roared together as they charged toward him.Neit
Chapter 300
The weapon’s name had been engraved elegantly along the blade.Bloodbane.It was no ordinary sword. Its blade had been forged from an extremely rare metal that reflected the light with an almost sinister sheen. The black leather wrapped around the hilt had become worn with age, but it remained strong enough to withstand years of use.Yet the appearance wasn’t what made Bloodbane special. Its true value came from its unique ability.Bloodbane could absorb the vitality of its wielder and convert that energy into destructive attacks. The more vitality the wielder supplied, the greater the sword’s offensive power became. For an ordinary warrior, this was a terrible drawback. A person could only supply so much vitality before exhaustion forced them to stop. Even if the weapon could produce devastating attacks, using it recklessly could leave its wielder too weak to continue fighting. For Kratos, however, the situation was completely different. His vitality was practically inexhaustible.Bl
