“I am Dreavon.” The words struck Rhys like a physical blow. His jaw slowly fell open as disbelief washed over him. By this point, he was convinced his mind had finally broken under the weight of everything that had happened. No matter how vivid the scene felt, no matter how real the presence before him seemed, there was simply no way this could be real. Dreavon was one half of the Gemini brothers. They were the most revered gods of the Tower of Ascension, worshiped across the world and feared even among other deities. As the patron gods of the Tiger Guild, the strongest guild on Earth, their influence reached into every corner of human civilization. Among the brothers, Dreavon was said to be the elder. He was the mind behind the power, the strategist whose intellect alone decided the outcome of wars. Other gods respected him. Many feared him. There was a saying known even to ordinary humans. If Dreavon devised the war plan, the battle was already over before the first blow was struck. In every legend passed down through generations, he was described as a god who had never lost a single war throughout his entire existence. Ravan, the younger brother, stood in stark contrast. He was worshiped as the War God, a being of pure destruction. Ancient stories painted him as a blood soaked monster who reveled in slaughter. According to lore, Ravan possessed the terrifying ability to manipulate blood itself, bending it to his will on the battlefield. There were only two confirmed accounts of Ravan personally joining a battle. Each time, the results were catastrophic. It was said that dozens of gods died every time he snapped his fingers, and entire armies of immortals were forced to retreat in terror the moment he entered the field. Individually, either brother was powerful enough to inspire fanatic devotion. Together, they were the Gemini brothers. On Earth, their worship was everywhere. Temples dedicated to Gemini could be found every few streets. Dreavon was honored with offerings of milk poured over his idol, while Ravan was appeased with the blood of lambs or goats. Their followers were fanatical. Many believed that even a brief five second encounter with either brother would be worth sacrificing a limb or worse. That level of devotion was exactly why Rhys found the situation impossible to accept. Standing before him was one of the most worshiped beings in existence. This could only be a miracle. Or a dream. “Glory to Gemini,” Rhys said, his voice trembling as he dropped to his knees. He pressed his forehead to the white floor, fully prostrating himself in reverence. “At ease,” Dreavon replied calmly. Rhys rose to his feet slowly, his heart pounding. “I know what you are thinking,” Dreavon continued. “You believe this is not real. In that, you are correct. This is not my true body, and you are not truly standing before me.” Dreavon regarded him with a faint smile. “If this were my real form, my mere presence would incinerate you instantly. Be grateful that this is not reality.” The words brought an odd sense of relief to Rhys. His suspicion that this was some kind of illusion seemed confirmed. “But,” Dreavon added, his tone shifting slightly, “what I am about to tell you is very real.” Confusion crept back into Rhys’s expression. “You may not know this,” Dreavon said, “because she kept it hidden from everyone, including you. Your sister was my chosen champion.” Rhys’s breath caught. “I blessed her with a system. A cheat, one might say. Its purpose was to ensure that she would become a true powerhouse in time. However, just hours before that power could fully become hers, someone intervened.” Dreavon’s eyes darkened. “She was kidnapped. Those responsible attempted to forcibly absorb the power I granted her.” Rhys’s eyes widened. “Violet was your champion?” he asked urgently. “Where is she? What did they do to her?” Dreavon shook his head slowly, irritation flickering across his expression. “This fragment of my consciousness is limited,” he said. “I do not possess that knowledge. I wish I did, but I do not.” The disappointment hit Rhys hard. “The power I granted her carried a contingency,” Dreavon continued. “If she had been killed before it fully bound to her, it would have automatically transferred to her killer.” He paused. “Fortunately, they did not kill her. Instead, they attempted to seize her body by manipulating her soul. In doing so, they broke the seal binding my power to her.” A faint smile formed on Dreavon’s face. “That mistake gave me an opportunity. One that was not part of my original plan.” He spread his wings slightly, light rippling across their surface. “Your sister was my first choice,” Dreavon said. “The first champion I have ever chosen in the history of the universe. In my eyes, she possessed every quality needed to become something truly great.” He sighed softly. “Circumstances have forced me to change my plans. Before this fragment of my consciousness parted ways with Violet, she made a request.” Rhys felt his chest tighten. “She asked that the power meant for her be passed to you. In her judgment, if she could not wield it, then you were the next best choice.” Dreavon lifted off the ground, hovering effortlessly. “Rhys Yadav,” he said. “You were not the champion I intended to choose. But you will now inherit the power that was meant for your sister.” His gaze sharpened. “Use it wisely, and you may yet save her. Fail, and you will likely share her fate.” Light began to gather around Dreavon’s form. “Because of this interference, the system will not be complete at first. It will take time to grow. As you progress, it will evolve, unlocking its true capabilities.” The glow intensified. “Your life will not be peaceful,” Dreavon warned. “It will not be easy. But it will give you the strength you need to protect those you love.” The god’s form dissolved into blinding white light, merging seamlessly with the endless space. “GAHHH!” Rhys jolted awake, gasping for air. Sweat drenched his body as his heart raced violently. A blue screen materialized in front of him. [ 3… 2… 1… Integration Complete. Ultimate System is now online ]Latest Chapter

After Rhys was knocked out cold, Nubi in her hall god form carried Rhys to the rewards room where she placed him on an intricately carved mana table and connected various ancient devices to every major nerve in his body."A pure blooded human…. What a lucky boy, what ridiculous odds for him to be pure even after the tower has been on his planet for thousands of years" Nubi murmured to herself as she began the process of unlocking Rhys's latent DNA potential.Rhys was a pure blood human. Having only human DNA in his ancestry, which was extremely rare in the modern day and age.In this universe where the tower existed since the beginning of time, all the myriad different races interacted with each other since time immemorial and the concept of pure bloodlines had become blurred since ages.Across the cosmos, every species naturally underwent the processes of evolution and mutation, each at its own pace. This variability in evolutionary rates was largely dictated by environmental conditi

'I can't quit here….. I can't fail my sister. I can't fail myself. If I fall here, it will be all over. I will never be able to respect myself for having quit here. I need to make it to the end, I need to survive-'Rhys kept repeating these words in his head as he tried to push himself to the finish line. With only four days to go and the effects of nourishment deprivation reaching its peak, Rhys faced his hardest mental challenge yet. However, despite a part of his brain constantly urging him to quit, since if he did not, he would 'die', Rhys tried his best to conquer that feeling and push past it.Survival instinct was something ingrained deeply into one's mind.It was the base desire of any race, ingrained into them through millennia of evolution. It was the desire that told one that they were thirsty when their body was running low on water and the instinct that triggered the fight or flight reflex when one faced mortal danger.Currently, Rhys faced the full might of this instinct
Chapter 90
By Day 75, Rhys had firmly concluded that enough was enough. He had accumulated a lot of penalties and was determined not to invite any more trouble. He felt satisfied with the progress he could potentially make by reaching Day 90, believing that five penalties were plenty and that it was unwise to push his luck further.Despite his reluctance, participation in the upcoming evaluation was non-negotiable. So, when Nubi gently informed him it was time to head to the ancestral hall, Rhys resigned himself to his destiny. He whimsically envisioned being hoisted onto Nubi's shoulders for the journey to the grand hall.Unfortunately, Rhys's loss of echolocation ability and touch sensitivity meant he was detached from his surroundings. Unable to discern his location at any moment, the journey to the hall—or even if he had left his bedroom—remained indistinguishable to him, blurring the lines between reality and imagination in his sensory-deprived world. It was only when he heard the hall god

Candice stood in Ren's office with her whole body trembling as she tried to make sense of the memories she extracted from Joe.That man was scum…..No he was beneath scum, as once Candice uncovered his motive behind betraying the guild and Violet, it made her sick to her stomach.Candice was a mind mage, she specialized in casting illusion spells and reading as well as altering memories.Usually, such techniques were reserved for monsters or enemies of humanity, however, for the first time she had to use her skills on an ex-guild mate and her discoveries made her heart fill with sorrow."Joe voluntarily made contact with the Olympians, offering them information regarding Violet in return for power and riches. The reason behind his betrayal is simple greed and overconfidence.I tried to look for another reason, however, there was none.He never believed in the guild's notion of 'one for all and all for one', he never saw us as a family and never felt especially loyal towards us….." Losing his voice was supposed to make Rhys's life harder, but to him it did not make much of a difference at all.He has started to grow tired of his own voice anyways and hence rarely spoke while alone. While he did miss trying to make Nubi laugh, it wasn't extremely bad either. She still chatted to him as if he could talk back and most times she understood what he wanted to say without him having to say anything, so their conversations, although one-sided, were still fun. After his fifth penalty, Rhys was reduced to an even more useless donut than he already was before as he became a borderline coma patient.Without his voice and movement, he no longer had any means to communicate with the outside world anymore as he had essentially become a plant. While he was still alive, could still think and hear, he was no longer able to show any form of response to his surroundings, as just like a plant he existed by being stationary in one place.Without his voice, he could no longer use the

Rhys was about 60% done with his stay within the chamber on day 55 and was still holding strong mentally although he had four penalties having been placed on himself.Once his perspective on life changed, he realized that although this situation that he was in was bad, it could be much worse too.In here, he knew he was only going to have to suffer this fate for 90 days. That after 90 days he would have his senses returned to him alongside the rewards, however, if he was captured by some nefarious enemy and locked up in a cold dungeon, he may suffer all the same penalties but without any rewards. He could be blinded, chained up, have his tongue carved out, have his balls castrated and be forced to live in such conditions for years, without any end to that suffering in sight.Throughout history, there were countless criminals who had been subjected to such level of torture but still managed to get free someday and seek revenge upon their enemies, so Rhys felt confident that he could en
