Snow pulled out her phone, her fingers moving swiftly across the screen. The board members exchanged glances as the line rang.

Then—Barry voice crackled through the speaker. "Hey, Snow? How are you doing?"

She didn’t waste a second. "Barry, I’m being falsely accused of embezzling $6 billion. Mr. Gowon forged my signature and he somehow managed to convince the board to turn against me. As I speak to you right now, they are about to fire me."

A brief silence ensued after Snow reported the situation to Barry.

Then Barry’s voice dropped to a cold whisper.

"Hand the phone to Gowon."

Snow extended the phone toward Gowon, her expression deadpan. "The chairman wants to speak with you.

Gowon’s chest swelled with joy.

Finally, his moment had come. Snow had made a huge mistake calling the chairman. He had all the evidences he needed to frame Snow and win the chairman over to his side.

This was a huge win for him and a loss to Snow.
