I'll Save You!

Chapter 2: Fishes

The sudden notification from the system startled Lucas.

" Is 100 points alot or not"

He wondered and with a thought he opened his status interface.

The interface appeared again. The stats and skills was still the same exept that there are now a 100 after the SP and there are now a '+' sign on the end part of each stat and skill.

" This must be the adding function of the SP"

He then curiously touch the plus sign on the str stat.

""1 point added to str, 10 SP deducted""

A notification to then sounded.

A strange sense of power flowed in Lucas muscles ,like he can now lift twice his body weight but he know that it just a felling and he cannot know the true extent of the increase without trying it out.

He looked around him to look for something to try his strength at. He then saw a fallen log close to him. Lucas walked to it.

The log is almost a feet in diameter and are about 6 feet long.

" Its a dried wood , about a 100 kg , it's about right to try my streght!"

Lucas bend down and hold the log with both hands. With a 'hmp' he lift the log off the ground with slight hardship.

After a few second he drop the log down and take a few deep breaths.

" Nice ! Im sure I can't lift that log with my previous strength!"

This made Lucas excited and a beam of smile form on his face.

He then look at his status interface again.

" How about the skills?"

He the touch the plus sign on the investigation skill.

"" Skill investigation(intermediate)was upgraded to investigation (advance), 50 SP deducted""

Lucas tried to fell the change but he seem to be unable to find anything different.

" Oh! Its a skill!"

With that thought he then pulled out a few beeries from his pants, it still the red and the yellow berry. He then used his investigation on the berries.

( Red berry , edible)

( Yellow berry , not edible ,poison (low))

There are now more information on the interface. This made Lucas more estatic for now he can distinguish what to eat what to not.

With his test done Lucas now think back the amount of SP he used. There are now only 40 SP left on his interface.

" Hmm , system is the SP use always the same value?"

"" Stats uprage deduct 10 SP points until it reach the threshold of the lvl 10, after the thresh hold the points deducted will be increased.

Skill upgrade deduct 50 points until the threshhold of skill evolution, the points deducted increase after the skill evolution"

Hearing this Lucas was enlightened.

" I can still upgrade my stats but I will not be able to upgrade my skills untill I gathered more points."

With that thought Lucas added 20 point to his agility making it reach ten points. He then added the remaining points on his strength.

He with the increase in agility he can now move more comfortable and quick. The increased gave Lucas a sense of speed ,that now he can run far more faster than before.

He then tried out his strenght on the log and with the added points , he was able to lift the log with ease.

Lucas then continued on his journey of looking for a water source,he munch onto the red berries as he walk forward . The berries have a slight citrus taste and was really refreshing.

On his way ,Lucas tried to look for more animals to help to increased his SP. He help a butterfly that was stuck on a spider web in which he given 10 points, he help a baby bird that have fell its nest ,and was given another 100 points.

The difference in points made Lucas wonder what is the condition for the calculation of SP. He decide not to add points untill he find a water source thinking that he may need an emergency increase in stats.

Knowing that this is a magic world, and a leveling world at that, he knows that there should be monsters around. He was not been able to see any monster yet but be didn't let his vigilance down.

The sun is now high in the sky raising the temperature inside the forest and making Lucas sweat.

After walking for sometime Lucas heard a sound of flowing water. With a beaming smile he run forward, he then pass a few bushes. A small river then came to his line of sight.

He walk forward and scoop a little bit of water. The water is clear and he cannot see anything in it, more it was a flowing water.

Lucas drink a mouthful and then wash hi face with a few splash.

A refreshing feelling made Lucas *sigh* . A sense of tranquility covered him , with the silence he was able to think more clearly.

" I don't know if I will be able go back, but this is my life now and I should make the best of it"

With that acceptance his heart became a pound lighter.

*Splash*

A sound of splashing woke him up from his daze. He then saw a few salmon like fish was jumping out the water. The fishes are big and this made Lucas crave for it.

He think of how he will catch those fishes. He gathered a few sticks that lie around the tress, he then choose one of the stick that he can use as a spear to catch the fishes.

He then tried to make it pointy using some rocks around the river side. With his strength he was able to make it somewhat pointy.

He walk in shallow part of the river and wait for the fish to swim close to him.

The water was clear and he can see the fishes swimming around it. Some fishes swam closed him . He then use his spear at the fishes but they dodge his attacks quickly, he tried to attack more times but the fishes still dodge before his spear even reach the water.

Lucas look at the fishes that swam round him like they were mocking him. With a fit of anger Lucas opened his status interface and add points to his agility until it was 15. His limbs now move more faster and more coordinated.

" Hehe, take this you fishes !"

He then spear down a fish with his quick limbs and was able to pierce it.

" Ha ! Caught one!"

"" Unsaving a life , 10 points deducted!""
