Lin Feng walked back to his house.

After getting disowned by his parents for the accusations, he had been living alone for the past year.

“If I can break into the Core Manifestation stage right now, I'd be able to get close to Dao Vein Realm.

Lin Feng got into a cross legged position, holding a small stone in his hand.

Along with the Spirit Grade Beast Core, he had found this thing at the entrance of the Spirit Vein.

“Thanks to you, I have been able to make leaps in cultivating.” Lin Feng smiled, before letting out a sigh.

He had also wanted to inform Miss Yun, but he didn't know what it was yet.

However, with this stone in his pocket, he was able to hit the Core Stabilization stage of the Dao Core realm in a year.

On an average, it took people about five years and even more to cultivate just the second stage of Dao Core.

“It took Ririn one and a half years and she was named a generational prodigy. What would happen if these people found out I was about to hit Dao Vein Realm.” Lin Feng grinned slightly.

Xian who was currently lazing around, perked his nose up.

“What is that? Let me see, peasant.” He said, quickly running to face Lin Feng.

Lin Feng frowned at the nosy lizard, before looking at the stone.

“I don't know.” He muttered, looking at the bright blue stone.

Seeing the stone, Xian’s eyes sparkled, “Please bring it closer.” He said, moving his tongue over his lizard lips.

Lin Feng laughed, “You must think I'm a fool.” He said, before clenching his fist, and covering the stone.

“Why do you want it?” Lin Feng had seen the greediness flashed in Xian's eyes, and he was not going to make another mistake.

“Why are you being so stubborn? Your ancestors can't even use it.” Xian hissed.

Lin Feng grinned, ignoring the jab and turned around.

He closed his eyes, and began to meditate.

Wisps of Dao rose from the stone, before floating into his orifices.

“No!” Xian yelled, “You are wasting that stone, using it like that.” He quickly said, biting down on his lips

“If you don't want to tell me what it is, then I have no choice.” Lin Feng was indifferent.

“You are stubborn… Fine! I'd tell you. It's a chaos gem.” Xian mumbled in annoyance.

“A chaos Gem? What's that?” Lin Feng stopped his cultivation, and focused on his summon.

“Haven't you heard about the Chaos Dao?” Xian gave him a confused look.

“I read about it but the books said it no longer existed. The last time it was sensed was in the Primordial Era.”

“That's because everyone who knows about it is dead. That's a Chaos Gem in your hand. Why do you think you are growing faster?” Xian said, crossing his arms over his lizard chest.

“You aren't even using right.” He clicked his tongue.

Lin Feng rolled his eyes, “And you know all this because you are the ruler of six heavens from the Primordial Origin Era?” He asked with a puzzled look.

“That's right, Peasant. Your ancestors would kiss my feet right now.” Xian said with a proud grin.

Lin Feng hissed, “You are just a Grade C Lizard."

“Curse your ancestors. Give me that Gem and I'd show you the power of a Primordial Origin Dragon. Grade S? I'd devour countless of them like flies.” Xian maniacally laughed.

Lin Feng could only stare, and then he sighed.

“Even my summon is a psycho. At this rate, I'd be turned to Lion food.” He closed his eyes and began cultivating.

Xian, who was busy laughing, realised that the room was strangely quiet, causing him to open his eyes.

“This youngster.” Xian sighed, realising that Lin Feng paid him no attention. “If this youngster had enough Dao, I'd have been able to use my true form but I don't want to kill him yet.” He muttered, before racking his brain for an idea.

After thinking for a moment, Xian moved to stay in front of Lin Feng, and touched the young man's chest.

Lin Feng had already sunk into a deep state while cultivating.

His core was refining the Dao that floated from the Chaos Gem.

In that instant, a piercing headache attacked his mind.

“Arrggh!”

Lin Feng was instantly transported to a massive green land.

The island was filled with countless beasts, and he could feel the thick power of Dao.

A rumbling shook the ground and a large black shadow covered the area.

Appearing in the sky was a black dragon, with a horn sticking out of its head

The body of the Dragon covered the island, and the dragon opened its mouth, causing a black fire to hit the ground.

Before Lin Feng could understand what was going on, the fire spread covering the entirety of the island.

Even beasts that gave the aura of being S-grade and above had no chance of escaping.

It was all consuming and Lin Feng could only tremble in the face of such power.

The next minute, he found himself back in the room.

His eyes turned to his lizard-like summon. “That's you? Then why do you look like a lizard?”

Xian raised his head proudly, “That's entirely your fault. I didn't know you were this weak. In my prime, you would be smaller than an ant in my face.”

Lin Feng rolled his eyes. “Answer the damn question, salamander.”

Xian fumed, “The only reason I have this embarrassing form is because you barely have enough Dao for yourself.”

“Then why did you pick me as your master?” Lin Feng raised his brows.

“Because I sensed a wisp of Chaos Dao. It must have been because you were using that stone to cultivate. You are one lucky kid. Deceiving the Great Xian is no small feat.”

Ignoring the remark, Lin Feng stood up. He was suddenly tired.

“What would happen if I gave you the stone, Xian.”

Xian's eyes nearly popped out. “I'd defeat that measly cat for you.” He said with a proud smirk.

Lin Feng nodded but Xian was not done.

“It would also allow me to upgrade my powers a bit more and I can help you refine the stone for your personal cultivation and level up your dao realm.” Xian said.

“Also I am not a grade B. Recheck my power level, I stand at the pinnacle of Summons, and I'm way stronger than a grade S.”

Lin Feng thought about the exam, “But the stone read a power level of B-grade.”

“I was merely hungry.” Xian mumbled in embarrassment.

Seeing the lizard's expression, Lin Feng chuckled, and tossed the stone to the lizard.

“Don't disappoint me.”

Chaos energy surged through Lin Feng's body the moment his eyes opened. The energy was violent, unlike the Dao energy he had cultivated over the years, and every strand of it seemed determined to tear his body apart from within. Blood seeped from the corners of his mouth, but instead of retreating, Lin Feng looked toward Xiao Yue with a grin.Xian understood what he intended to do.The dragon stepped away from the battlefield, folding his arms as he watched the two monsters before him.“I'll leave this to you two and go rest my bones.”Xiao Yue's eyes narrowed slightly, but Lin Feng had already moved. His figure blurred as he activated his Time Upanishad. The space around him distorted, and in the next instant, he appeared directly before Xiao Yue. His palm struck forward, carrying Chaos energy mixed with the power of Time. His breathing remained steady, but the frown on his face deepened when he sensed the sudden surge in the Dao energy of the sword in the distance. He knew that energy well enough to understand what had happened. Leona had found Elder Wu, and judging from the terrifying pressure coming from that direction, their battle had already reached its most dangerous stage. As long as Leona could keep Elder Wu occupied, Lin Feng only needed to survive his own battle. Unfortunately, surviving against Xiao Yue was becoming harder with every passing moment. She was a Dao Law Realm expert, and now that he was facing her directly, he finally understood how frightening the gap between their realms truly was. His techniques were powerful, his Dao comprehensions were extraordinary, and his Chaos energy gave him advantages that ordinary cultivators could only dream of having, but none of those things changed the fac

Leona remained on her knees after Elder Wu's body collapsed, her chest rising and falling heavily as she tried to recover from the immense exhaustion consuming her body. The terrifying pressure that had filled the chamber moments ago had completely disappeared, leaving behind nothing but destruction and the faint traces of Chaos Dao lingering in the air.She stared at Elder Wu's face without saying anything. The look he had worn before his death remained fresh in her mind. It was not the fear that stayed with her, but the regret. He had finally witnessed the true height of Chaos Dao, only to realize that he would never have the opportunity to reach it himself.Leona understood that regret. In fact, she had once carried the same desire. She had spent her previous life chasing the pinnacle of the sword, refusing to accept defeat because she believed she had to surpass everyone else. Unlike other cultivators, she did not possess a spirit beast that could merge with her and increase her

Elder Wu stared at Leona in disbelief, unable to understand what he was seeing. The hole in her chest continued closing until the crystalline surface became whole again, leaving behind nothing more than a faint glow. What frightened him was the sudden surge of energy coming from her body.He had struck her heart with enough power to kill her. Even if her strange body could repair itself, she should have been exhausted. Instead, her pressure continued growing.“How?” Elder Wu muttered, taking an involuntary step backward. His mind raced as he tried to understand what was happening. Had she concealed her true strength? Before he could find an answer, Leona disappeared.Elder Wu's pupils contracted as a sharp sound rang through the chamber. He immediately raised his blade, blocking the crystal sword that suddenly appeared before his face. The impact forced his arm downward before a second sword came from his left. The air in the chamber grew heavy, thick with a power that made the very space around Elder Wu seem to writhe. Leona's eyes narrowed as she felt the shift, the familiar yet foreign energy coiling around him like a serpent preparing to strike. Her instincts screamed in warning. Chaos Dao. She recognized it immediately. It was the same power Lin Feng had tapped into briefly back at the cave, the same energy that had nearly torn him apart from the inside. He had survived only because of the tenacious healing ability of his body, a gift that had saved him from certain death. But Elder Wu was different. He was not merely tapping into the chaos dao. He was wielding it like an extension of his own will.Elder Wu's laughter echoed through the chamber, cold and triumphant. "You recognize it, don't you? Chaos Dao. The power that only those who have touched the hidden mysteries of this world can wield. And you, my lady, have the misfortune of being the first to witness my masterpiece."Le
