Xian Xian took the stone in his lizard fingers and instantly swallowed it.
“You ate it like food?” Lin Feng asked in surprise.
But Xian ignored him, and walked away.
“Tch, what an ungrateful wannabe.” Lin Feng kissed his teeth.
“Curse your ancestors!” Xian's harsh voice resounded in his head.
Lin Feng felt the urge to smile. At least he would also get the benefits from that stone.
Looking down at his hands, he knew that one week would go by in a blink.
“I need more resources.” He said, thinking about how much he'd need to get Xian back into his prime.
Being a cultivator drained pockets, and his wasn't as deep as the top disciples in the sect.
He was lower than the lowest, especially after being disowned by his own parents.
Only his academic status was enough to keep him as part of the lower disciples in the outer sect.
Turning around, Lin Feng suddenly realised his summon was fast asleep.
“That lazy salamander.” He rolled his eyes, picked a jacket and stepped out of the house.
The only thing he could do right now was find a way to work.
Moving into the night, Lin Feng leaped on the roof of a house, he moved stealthily, like a thief in the night.
“Good thing I didn't give that bitch this Floating Falcon Steps Manual.” Lin Feng smiled to himself.
Although the Spirit Grade Beast Core was of the greatest value amongst his treasures, he had gotten some good ones.
“With my new summon, I'd start cultivating my Spirit Dao Heart.” Lin Feng's smile widened.
Once a cultivator had the chance of getting a summon, it was easier to form a Spirit Dao Heart which allowed them to dual cultivate with their summons.
And the best part was, they could fight using the powers of their summons.
“I wonder what that Primordial Origin Dragon’s abilities would be.”
“Before that, I need to get some resources.”
Lin Feng spotted his destination, and suddenly made a turn, before landing on a large courtyard.
In the courtyard, the sounds of a woman were heard.
She had been practicing a set of moves in a cultivation manual, and she was almost close to a breakthrough.
Her ears picked up on a movement, causing her to stop.
“Lin Feng…” Her soft silky voice matched her jade-like skin.
“What are you doing here?” She said, placing her hands on her waist.
“My dear Ririn, shouldn't you be happy to see your dear friend.” Lin Feng said, but there was no smile on his face.
Ririn narrowed her eyes. She had been friends with Lin Feng until a year ago, since that incident.
“You know why I'm here. Your secret is not safe with me.” Lin Feng got straight to business.
Ririn’s face darkened, “You keep surprising me Lin Feng. Everytime I want to think you were actually a good person and all this was a mistake, you keep proving me wrong.”
There was a long silence, before Lin Feng burst into a loud laughter.
“You never stood up for me, and then you broke our friendship. What are you saying?” Lin Feng cleaned the tears from his eyes.
He walked forward, a dark glint in his eyes, “I no longer care what you think of me, Rin. It'd be in your favour not to waste my time. I need five earth tier Dao Core, and two earth tier Beast Cores.” Lin Feng demanded.
“You are such a scum.” Ririn bit down on her lips, but there was nothing she could do.
Ririn was born with an illness but her family had paid extra just to get a Dao Core for a forbidden sect market.
She had heavenly talent, so they couldn't let it go to waste.
Watching her go back into the house, Lin Feng heaved a sigh of relief.
“I'm sorry Ririn. This is the only way I can get my resources quickly.” He muttered.
Acting as a criminal was hard for him, but he had no choice.
The cultivation was ruthless to the weak.
Ririn came outside soon enough, holding a ring.
“It's a spatial ring. Everything you need is inside, you can leave now Lin Feng.”
Lin Feng merely nodded, before leaping to the roof of the house.
It took him a few minutes to arrive back home.
Xian was still fast asleep.
Looking at the lizard, Lin Feng shook his head.
Settling on the floor, he drove his spiritual sense into the ring, inspecting it.
“Ririn…” He muttered, after seeing what was inside.
She had given him ten earth dao cores, one heaven dao core, and five earth beast cores.
A tear slipped from Lin Feng's eyes, then a smile appeared on his face.
“Once I'm strong enough, Yun Feng! Xiao Chen! You'd regret the day you crossed my path.”
Lin Feng was about to begin the Spirit Dao Heart with the help of the materials he had around.
He planned to use the coiling vein method that was taught in the academy.
Suddenly Xian's voice resounded in his mind.
“I can't believe you'd do that without me. I'm far above your generation, and that coiling vein technique is gutter compared to my techniques.”
Lin Feng grumbled, “Well I have no knowledge of any ancient techniques so basically we have no choice.”
“Shut up. Let me prepare the Spirit Dao Heart, just give me the resources, and I'll do that rest.”
Xian transported himself back to Lin Feng's mind.
“Watch and learn. Your ancestors can't even compare to me.” He laughed wildly while Lin Feng could only remain speechless.
A few heartbeats later, a raging fire arose from his stomach, causing Lin Feng to double down in pain.
“What are you doing to me?” Lin Feng's voice was strained.
“Calm down. I'm refining your meridians for the Primordial Chaos Dao Heart.” Xian grinned while he worked on his heart.
Letting out a loud grunt, Lin Feng felt the burning sensation, moving to all parts of his body.
“Xian…” He groaned out, but the lizard didn't even bother to reply.
“I'm almost there. Your ancestors wouldn't be able to compare with you after this.” Xian said.
A minute passed, and Lin Feng finally breathed out in relief, smoke escaping from his mouth.
“Weakling,” Xian rolled his eyes, “Time to begin the connection.”
Lin Feng was about to say something, when he suddenly felt the instant rush power that flowed into his body. It was like he could move mountains with a touch of his finger.
“Is this the power of a Primordial Origin Dragon?”

Chapter 217
Chaos energy surged through Lin Feng's body the moment his eyes opened. The energy was violent, unlike the Dao energy he had cultivated over the years, and every strand of it seemed determined to tear his body apart from within. Blood seeped from the corners of his mouth, but instead of retreating, Lin Feng looked toward Xiao Yue with a grin.Xian understood what he intended to do.The dragon stepped away from the battlefield, folding his arms as he watched the two monsters before him.“I'll leave this to you two and go rest my bones.”Xiao Yue's eyes narrowed slightly, but Lin Feng had already moved. His figure blurred as he activated his Time Upanishad. The space around him distorted, and in the next instant, he appeared directly before Xiao Yue. His palm struck forward, carrying Chaos energy mixed with the power of Time. The attack did not simply explode against her defense; the chaotic energy twisted the flow of time around her body, causing the surrounding space to distort viol
Chapter 216
Blood trickled down Lin Feng's face as he moved backward, his eyes fixed on Xiao Yue. His breathing remained steady, but the frown on his face deepened when he sensed the sudden surge in the Dao energy of the sword in the distance. He knew that energy well enough to understand what had happened. Leona had found Elder Wu, and judging from the terrifying pressure coming from that direction, their battle had already reached its most dangerous stage. As long as Leona could keep Elder Wu occupied, Lin Feng only needed to survive his own battle. Unfortunately, surviving against Xiao Yue was becoming harder with every passing moment. She was a Dao Law Realm expert, and now that he was facing her directly, he finally understood how frightening the gap between their realms truly was. His techniques were powerful, his Dao comprehensions were extraordinary, and his Chaos energy gave him advantages that ordinary cultivators could only dream of having, but none of those things changed the fac
Chapter 215
Leona remained on her knees after Elder Wu's body collapsed, her chest rising and falling heavily as she tried to recover from the immense exhaustion consuming her body. The terrifying pressure that had filled the chamber moments ago had completely disappeared, leaving behind nothing but destruction and the faint traces of Chaos Dao lingering in the air.She stared at Elder Wu's face without saying anything. The look he had worn before his death remained fresh in her mind. It was not the fear that stayed with her, but the regret. He had finally witnessed the true height of Chaos Dao, only to realize that he would never have the opportunity to reach it himself.Leona understood that regret. In fact, she had once carried the same desire. She had spent her previous life chasing the pinnacle of the sword, refusing to accept defeat because she believed she had to surpass everyone else. Unlike other cultivators, she did not possess a spirit beast that could merge with her and increase her
Chapter 214
“Let me show you the real terror of Chaos Dao!”Leona's voice echoed through the chamber as her sword domain erupted with terrifying force. The countless sword paths surrounding her suddenly became visible, each one formed from pure Chaos Dao. They crossed through the space in every direction, creating a vast web of destruction that made Elder Wu's body tense. He could feel every sword path. That was what frightened him most. There was no blind spot for him to counter attack. He was totally forced into defense.Every direction he could move contained a sword intent capable of tearing through his body.Elder Wu roared and released his Chaos Dao to resist. His tyrannical domain expanded violently, colliding with Leona's sword domain and causing the entire chamber to shake. The two forces crashed against each other, sending waves of energy through the walls. For a moment, Elder Wu managed to hold his ground. Then Leona moved. Her body became indistinguishable from the sword domain. She s
Chapter 213
Elder Wu stared at Leona in disbelief, unable to understand what he was seeing. The hole in her chest continued closing until the crystalline surface became whole again, leaving behind nothing more than a faint glow. What frightened him was the sudden surge of energy coming from her body.He had struck her heart with enough power to kill her. Even if her strange body could repair itself, she should have been exhausted. Instead, her pressure continued growing.“How?” Elder Wu muttered, taking an involuntary step backward. His mind raced as he tried to understand what was happening. Had she concealed her true strength? Before he could find an answer, Leona disappeared.Elder Wu's pupils contracted as a sharp sound rang through the chamber. He immediately raised his blade, blocking the crystal sword that suddenly appeared before his face. The impact forced his arm downward before a second sword came from his left. He twisted his body, allowing the blade to pass close to his ribs, but a
Chapter 212
The air in the chamber grew heavy, thick with a power that made the very space around Elder Wu seem to writhe. Leona's eyes narrowed as she felt the shift, the familiar yet foreign energy coiling around him like a serpent preparing to strike. Her instincts screamed in warning. Chaos Dao. She recognized it immediately. It was the same power Lin Feng had tapped into briefly back at the cave, the same energy that had nearly torn him apart from the inside. He had survived only because of the tenacious healing ability of his body, a gift that had saved him from certain death. But Elder Wu was different. He was not merely tapping into the chaos dao. He was wielding it like an extension of his own will.Elder Wu's laughter echoed through the chamber, cold and triumphant. "You recognize it, don't you? Chaos Dao. The power that only those who have touched the hidden mysteries of this world can wield. And you, my lady, have the misfortune of being the first to witness my masterpiece."Le
