Chapter six: Am Not Interested

School resumed one month after the Awakening exam, Alfred and Emelia were allowed to stay in the school, for three months to allow them to repeat their magic Awakening. if at the end of Three months they were not able to awaken magic they will be expelled from the school. Alfred knew that even if they were given Three years, they can't awaken magic, but he has his plans and his already preparing to carry it out. Alfred never knew that trouble is roaming for him and Emelia, it started from the school.

Many of the students have arrived in class and were discussing their experiences during the magic Awakening festival.

" sister Clara do you Know I was shivering when I stood before that starstone, I thought I would not be able to awaken magic, but immediately I closed my eyes, Ah! I saw the stars and connected them and Pam! water filled everywhere" one skinny girl who looks as if a little wind can carry her away was speaking to her friend who she always refare to as sister Clara, Clara her friend who has a cold expression, managed to smile.

" yah! it is first time, so normally, fear is inevitable Clara replied still reading her book. she looks like the introvert type. wanting always to stay on her own but her friend will always get her talking now

she awakened ice magic which explains why she has a cold expression always but she is a striking beauty, infact her beauty is on par with that of Emelia But now since Emelia did not awaken magic, she can't be her match again, she has surpass her, leaving her behind.

As the two were discussing, Alfred and Emelia entered the class, all eyes were fixed on them, even those laughing and gisting became quiet as everyone turn there gaze on them. if eyes were weapon, it would have bore holes long ago on the twins body.

Alfred wasn't bothered by their looks, he just went and sat down on his seat with his sister sitting beside him. some of the boys in class came and sorrounded their seats with pity plastered on their faces, some real while some are just camouflage.

" Alfred and Emelia we are sorry for what happened during the Awakening festival, we just believe you people are going to awaken your magic in three months time" Benjamin, a little fat and short boy spoke with a face that looks like he wants to cry.

"we go feel for you bro, especially your sister Emelia" The ten some boys replied simultaneously while some deliberately touching Emelia slightly, Alfred saw this as an eyesore and rebuffed them.

" eh! it's ok, thanks for your concern, we are good and we are going to awaken magic" he said waving his hand at the boys to go away.

The faces of the boys changed to that of disgust, they were visibly annoyed.

"look at the person we are trying to help to awaken magic, he has the guts to talk rude at us" Benjamin said with anger flushing through his chubby face.

" Humph! he still thinks we are are on the same league with him haha!" Edward, a tall skinny boy laughed and the boys joined, even some of their classmates laughed while some that saw what they were doing as an intimidation kept silent.

" instead of begging us for pointers, he is here still forming the most intelligent student in our class, f**k your books when you can't even awaken magic" another boy said and whole class erupt in laughter.

" we don't need need your pointers or help, go your way we can sort ourselves out"

"humph!" the boys snort are him. Just then the classroom door opened and the whole class turned to know who entered and behold it was the innate talented guy , Richard. immediately he entered, noise erupted in the classroom all the whole boys in the class adopted a premature name for him and began to hail him. " all hail the lightening be dragon." Richard was pleased by their reactions, the pride in him was already swelling up. he began to think was he was smiling.

" finally I can now hold my head high, I will now be the dream of the girls in this class, all of them will come clamouring for me to be their boy friend and that bush rat who thought that magic is by reading a lot of books, I will humiliate him in front those girls that have been admiring him" with that he stroll with pride to Alfred's desk amidst the hailing.

" as he stood before Alfred and Emelia, he was smiling viciously, he looked at Emelia who was resting her head on the back of her chair with her eyes closed as if unaware of what's going on in her surrounding. His gaze went back to Alfred.

"Richard is like you lost your way you don't know where your seat is again" Alfred questioned him who continue smiling like an idiot while the whole class was just silent watching as the drama unfolds.

" I just want to chart with you"

" I am not interested" Alfred replied to outrightly.

" haha! Alfred you think that in this magic civilization that reading a lot can take you any anywhere, you must be a joker. Now tell me the out come of all those your first position and all those impression you left on our teachers that you will make a good magician, come off it, you and your sister is just a bunch of trash" Alfred was now visibly annoyed.

" it is enough start going to your seat," Alfred said pointing at Richard's desk. Richard did not even bulge, he put his hands on his pocket and continued as if Alfred is ranting aimlessly .

" I am only ashamed of you that you have the same surname as mine, but don't worry I will employ you and your sister in the future to scrub our floor and dispose our wastes, at least you can be useful in some areas".
