Incredible Versatile Mage

Thud thud! a young boy was walking briskly turning back and forth at intervals, it seems like there is a presence around him he can feel it, his heart beat increase as his steps increases. The road was unusually quiet this afternoon. Alfred had decided to wait after school because he was scared of this particular bully he offended in school, he knew the boy would ambush him on the way home so he decided to wait extra thirty minutes before heading home.

Now he is walking home but this feeling kept coming, 'Alfred be a man and walk home you are just afraid of nothing' he braise himself up to release the tension that that has swollen up in him. as he was walking he heard a rustle in the little bush by the road and out came the bully he dreads so much but he wasn't alone. Alfred wants to run back but as he turn he saw two other boys smiling mischievously at him

He looked at Caleb the bully he Was grinning from ear to ear.

"hey Alfred why going home now when school have dismissed a long time ago" Caleb said still smiling gleefully.

"I....l was... I" Alfred was stammering in fear.

"Alfred buddy I don't know you are a stammerer who slit your tongue" Hudson one of Caleb's friends teased him, it was practical evident that they really came for trouble.

" when he was reporting us for snatching his lunch am sure he wasn't stammering" Oliver the last friend smirked at him disdainfully.

The three were the troublesome bullies at Alpine Star College, they were fifteenth years old each while Alfred was only thirteen years old and to think that this guys has awaken magic right from when they were in form one now they are in form three and Alfred is in form two, all this makes it unreasonable why they should be bullying a weak and innocent boy, but as we all know bullies don't intimidate their equals but always raise their shoulders and puff their chest whenever they sees their juniors.

Caleb when closer to Alfred who was already trembling in fear.

"slap! Alfred's knees hit the ground on the impact of the slap, he was thinking that someone will come to his rescue but no one came, he has this feeling that he is going to die today.

" Alfred boy! I heard you were not able to awaken magic in your form one magic Awakening exam is that so Caleb asked amidst gleeful smirk from his friends who were standing close to them.

slap! Caleb gave him another one which sent Alfred rolling on the ground in severe pain.

" i am talking to you and you have the nerve to ignore me you silly thing" Alfred held his chin with his hands although he doesn't know how magic stars looks like he is already seeing millions now by the impact of the slap.

He knew he can't face even one of this wolves forgetting the fact that this are practical mages. what if they decided to use magic on him that will be his doom!

m As he turn to look at Caleb, to his dread this guy is already forming a ball of fire in his hand and smiling but Alfred is seeing him as the devil himself laughing.

" ha! ha! ha! since you didn't awaken magic Caleb will make you taste what it feels like" Oliver said laughing.

" Caleb please no! no!" bang! the fiery ball exploded on Alfred's body, his uniform caught fire and begin to burn. Alfred was struggling to remove the cloths that caught fire while the three were laughing wickedly enjoying the show before them.

" he is smelling like a roasted goat " Hudson remarked.

"what is happening here!" the three heard a voice from the bush and took to their heels. A middle aged man came out of the bush and saw a boy on fire while he struggles to pull his clothes off. The man swing into action and casted a water magic on Alfred, the fire ceased immediately. Alfred fell down heavily on the ground with fire bruises all over his body. what if this man did not came or if he is not a water mage? this is what was running through his mind as the man carries him to the hospital for treatment.
