“Fired, Sir?” Her eyes widened at this statement. What did she do for her to warrant such evil treatment from him?

“Yeah, you heard me correctly. You are here by fired. I don’t want to meet you anytime I come around, like I won’t take it lightly with you.” He made it crystal clear.

She raised her hands and dropped them on her head, “Sir, is there anything bad I did? All these years I have served Storm with passion. I have always been loyal and punctual. I am always at work and always delivers at time. If not for that useless Angelo, I wouldn’t have been sent home for two weeks. It’s his fault and not mine.” Alma tried to explain herself.

Jace’s face became dark when she referred to Angelo as useless. He would never allow anyone to talk down on Angelo no matter if he was only his driver.

“Hey, watch your mouth. This is not the place where you can use any kind of slang.” He said, his brows furrowing, “Do you think just being at work on time is all that is required to run a successful co
