Chapter 1
Chapter 1: Birthday Boy!
Jackson dragged his tired feet into the hostel, his shirt damp with sweat, his pockets heavier than usual but never heavy enough. Another day of being everyone’s errand boy—running across campus, fetching food, carrying bags, doing whatever it took to scrape together a few dollars.
Today was his birthday. And Emily’s too. The one thing they had in common, the one thing that made him work even harder. He had skipped lectures, swallowed insults, and humiliated himself all day just to make sure he had enough for her.
Two thousand dollars. Enough to buy her a luxurious handbag, maybe. Enough to take her out to an expensive restaurant. Enough to make her happy, at least.
As he stepped into his room, the scent of cheap vanilla frosting filled his nostrils.
“Hey, birthday boy!” Andrew grinned, pointing at a small, homemade cake on the desk.
James patted Jackson’s back. “We know you’ve been running around all day, so we thought, you know… You deserve something too.”
For the first time all day, Jackson smiled. His friends were the only ones who treated him like a human being and genuinely cared for him. They have been friends since he joined the school. Same department, same room, and same level.
He took a bite, hardly chewing, his mind already elsewhere. Emily was waiting. He needed to get to her place fast.
Just then—a loud, impatient bang at the door.
Jackson opened it, and there stood Jonah.
Tyler Stanley’s lackey.
Tyler was the son of a multimillionaire, and he was a playboy. Jonah was also from a wealthy background, his family were surbodinates to the Stanleys, Tyler’s family.
Jonah’s gaze crawled over Jackson like he was looking at filth. He tossed a wad of cash on the floor—$500. A pack of condoms followed.
“Deliver this to Tyler’s place. Now.”
Jackson hesitated. It was degrading. Disrespectful.
But $500 was $500. It could mean just one thing—an even better gift for Emily.
Jonah scoffed, shaking his head. “Pathetic.” Then, without waiting for an answer, he turned and walked away.
“Don’t do it, man,” James warned.
“Forget about them,” Andrew added.
But Jackson had already made up his mind. Today was Emily’s birthday and his only thoughts were towards anything that could help him prove his love for her. Jonah’s gig may be humiliating but came with great prize—$500. If the other jobs he did all day paid as much each, he would have being a rich man by now.
Jackson sprinted to Tyler’s apartment, two blocks from the hostel. The house of a prince. Tyler had it all—money, power, and the arrogance to match. Son of a multimillionaire. Playboy. Untouchable. No wonder he always had his way with others.
Jackson didn’t care. He just needed to drop the package and leave.
As he reached the door, it opened on its own.
And then—he heard it.
Loud moans. Breathless gasps. Tyler’s name, repeated between them. The sound of skin against skin.
Jackson froze. ‘What is going on? This is too loud,’ he thought to himself. Of course, who doesn’t know Tyler the Playboy? He is fond of bringing in all kinds of baddies to his apartment, especially, other people’s girlfriends. “I wonder which guy lost his girl to Tyler tonight.” Jackson mutter to himself as he slowly walked in.
Walking in, he was met with an unexpected sight. Something he never thought he would meet. The lady held in a doggy-style position was not just a familiar face…it was Emily.
His Emily.
Naked, bent over by Tyler Stanley.
The world stopped.
Jackson’s voice trembled as he stepped forward. “Emily?”
She look up, her face flushed—not with guilt, but with shame that he had seen her. Emily quickly pulled away from Tyler and wrapped herself with the sheets.
Almost a year of dating and Jackson had never had the pleasure of seeing Emily undress. The most he got was a hug and he could count on one hand how many times that occurred. Yet, here she was on a day so special to them both, fully naked and intimately involved with another guy.
Jackson was the unfortunate one tonight. Tyler was hosting his girl.
Before Emily could speak, Tyler laughed.
Laughed.
“Damn, bro,” Tyler smirked, adjusting himself carefree. “You look like a kicked puppy.”
Jackson clenched his fists. “How could you—after everything—”
“Everything?” Tyler cut him off. “What? Those cheap-ass gifts? Your broke ass running around campus like a slave just to afford what? Dinner?” He scoffed. “You really thought a girl like Emily would settle for that?”
Laughter erupted from the door. Jonah and a group of students had gathered with their phones recording.
Jackson turned to Emily, begging her with his eyes.
“Say something. Please.”
She hesitated. For a second, he thought she might defend him.
Then she sighed, brushing her hair back. “I can’t waste my time on you, Jackson. Tyler’s a better man.”
Jackson staggered. Like she had just stabbed him.
He reached into his pocket, pulling out the envelope filled with $1,500. “I—I saved this. For you. To get you an expensive birthday gift tonight.”
Tyler snatched it. Tore it open. Pulled out the bills and let them rain onto the floor.
Everyone burst into laughter at the litters of one-dollar bills which made up most of the money in the envelop.
“Fifteen hundred?” Emily scoffed. “Tyler got me a $15,000 gift.”
Silence. Everyone was left in awe.
Then Tyler smirked. “Wanna stick around? Maybe watch what I do to her next?”
At this point, Jackson’s heart was heavy. He has faced humiliations all his life and even throughout the day today, but nothing was compared to what he just witnessed with Tyler and Emily. He snapped.
His fist crashed into Tyler’s jaw.
A second later, Jonah and his gang were on him, punching, kicking, stomping.
By the time James and Andrew reached him, Jackson was curled on the floor, bleeding, broken.
Back in his hostel, Jackson lay on the bed, staring at the ceiling. Everything was pouring on him all at once—poverty, betrayal, humiliation. He couldn’t sleep as the thoughts of his misrable life made him restless.
While at it, he recieved a text on his phone but refused to check it. He switched off the phone. To Jackson, maybe it was Emily texting to apologize or Tyler texting to humiliate him further. Either way, he has had enough of them both for one day.

Jackson Hart: The Student Billionaire Chapter 232: Balcony Shadows!
Later that evening, the Sky Tower was quieter than usual. The storm of accusations, confessions, and uneasy alliances had left everyone drained, scattering them to their corners of the floor to process in silence.Celestine had slipped away to the balcony. Wrapped in a cardigan, she leaned on the cool glass rail, letting the night wind brush her face. The city glittered far below — endless headlights, neon veins pulsing with life — but it felt distant, like she was watching a different world entirely.Behind her, footsteps creaked softly against the marble. She turned.Jack stood in the doorway, his hands shoved into his pockets, his face adorned with a smile that was captured in the pale glow of the balcony lights.“Hey,” he said simply, moving closer.“Hey,” she replied, her voice cautious but not cold.Jack stopped a few feet away, his gaze flicking past her shoulder to the sprawl of the capital below. “Thank you. For earlier.”Celestine tilted her head, uncertain. “For what?”“Fo

Jackson Hart: The Student Billionaire Chapter 231: Jack’s Confession!
For a long while, the room was wrapped in the uneasy rhythm of silence, everyone caught between disbelief and the strange weight of the Lewis siblings’ words.Jack lifted his head, his voice low but steady — the kind of voice that belonged to a man who had held something too long in the dark.“There’s more you don’t know,” he began. His eyes moved from Jackson to Andrew, then briefly to James before settling back on the floor. “My father… he has allies. Not just businessmen. Not politicians. Men in foreign suits. I saw them with my own eyes — Russians, Israelis, Chinese — meeting him behind closed doors, here in the capital. They came to our house like shadows, no press, no announcement. They weren’t here for the presidential elections. They weren’t here for trade. They came for one thing: you, Jackson.”The words hit like a crack of thunder.James bristled immediately, crossing his arms tight across his chest. “Convenient. You expect us to believe you suddenly grew a conscience and

Jackson Hart: The Student Billionaire Chapter 230: Masks and Motives!
The doors opened wide, and Samantha Lewis stepped in first. Gone was her usual pristine elegance. Her navy sheath dress was wrinkled, streaked faintly with dust, and her hair—once always perfectly pinned—hung loose in uneven strands as if she hadn’t bothered with it in days. The faint sheen on her skin wasn’t from makeup but from sweat, the kind born of travel, fear, and sleepless nights. She looked less like the untouchable daughter of Don Lewis she once projected and more like someone cornered, running, trying to keep her poise alive by sheer will.Jack followed close behind, and his condition only deepened the impression. His shirt was rumpled, the collar askew. Stubble darkened his jaw, and shadows under his eyes made him look older. His hands shoved deep into his pockets and they weren't casual—they were the stance of a man trying to anchor himself, trying not to betray the anxiety in the jittery set of his shoulders. His gaze flicked across the room, restless and defensive.Ja

Jackson Hart: The Student Billionaire Chapter 229: A Plan to Set Things Right!
Jackson stood by the tall windows of Sky Tower’s lounge, the city lights spread beneath him like broken constellations. His reflection in the glass looked older than he felt — lines of exhaustion carved deep, the weight of choices pressing down on his shoulders.Behind him, the table was set. Not for business, but for something else—a gathering of his friends. A peaceful evening, so he could eventually set things right. He had called James first. Then Andrew. Nancy and Hailey too. They’d hesitated, but each of them had come. When the knock came, Jackson turned. James entered first, his eyes already sharp with the lecture he hadn’t delivered yet. Andrew followed, quieter but no less intense, his hands shoved into his pockets. Nancy swept in with a frown softened only by worry, and Hailey trailed behind her, biting her lip but offering Jackson a small, fragile smile.“Thanks for coming,” Jackson said, his voice low, careful.James didn’t bother to sit right away. “This better not be an

Jackson Hart: The Student Billionaire Chapter 228: The Resistant One!
Mr. Copper and Dr. Sam stopped just outside Celestine’s room, close enough to hear the steady pulse of the heart monitor through the wall, but far enough that their words would not carry back to her or Jackson.“I think she’s the one,” Dr. Sam said first, his voice low but weighted with certainty.Copper turned his head slowly, the deep lines in his face tightening. “You mean the resistant one?”“Yes.” Dr. Sam’s answer was immediate, his eyes narrowing as though even saying it aloud carried danger. “Her DNA… it’s unlike anything I’ve studied before. It’s coded strangely—almost reversed. It mirrors the same shift Philip’s body underwent after he stumbled upon the Flameborn. Only with her, it’s not temporary. It’s permanent. Written into her blood.”Copper exhaled hard through his nose, the sound more like a growl than a sigh. The revelation hit him like a ton of bricks. He pressed his palm against the wall as though steadying himself against the weight of it. “So you’re saying… there’s

Jackson Hart: The Student Billionaire Chapter 227: Questions Without Answers!
The room hummed with the faint buzz of machinery as the last scan flickered across the monitor. A thin green line danced up and down on the screen, steady, unyielding, almost too perfect. The doctor, Sam Simpson—an older man whose years in medicine had carved deep grooves in his face—stood still for a long while, staring as if waiting for the machine to correct itself.Sam Simpson was an old friend of Copper and Philip Hart while Philip was still alive. As a mater of fact, he was the doctor who attended to Philip all through his life time down to the day he died.He had been out of the country for over a year and had just returned three days ago. Copper had called him in when Jackson called to report what had happened, as the only doctor he could trust with such sensitive issues was Sam.Copper had not been himself all day as he was still trying to make sense of what could be responsible for Celestine's immunty, and the only thing that could come to his mind was the possibility that
