Twenty minutes later, the betting window was surrounded by fighters and spectators placing their wagers for the main event. Danny approached the booth nervously, clutching his life savings in a crumpled envelope.

"I want to bet on Morgan to win," Danny said quietly to the bookmaker.

The bookmaker, a grizzled man named Sal Benedetto, looked up in surprise. "You want to bet on the old man?"

"Yes," Danny confirmed reluctantly.

"How much?" Sal asked.

"Eight thousand dollars," Danny said, his voice barely audible.

"EIGHT THOUSAND?" Sal shouted, his voice carrying across the warehouse. "This guy wants to bet eight grand on the old man!"

The crowd around the betting window erupted in laughter and disbelief.

"Are you fucking kidding me?" Rico laughed. "Eight thousand on that geriatric loser?"

"Buddy, you might as well set your money on fire," Tommy said mockingly. "At least that way you'd get some warmth out of it."

"Eight thousand dollars down the drain," Vince added with cruel amusement. "H

Sofia Torrino-Ricci made one last desperate attempt to stop Yemin as he approached the study door."Please, you don't have to do this!" she pleaded, grabbing his sleeve. "There's got to be another way!""There is," Yemin said calmly, gently removing her hand. "But it doesn't involve running."He opened the door and stepped out into the arena corridor where three massive figures waited for him. Leonardo "The Lion" Benedetti stood in the center, flanked by Matteo "The Mauler" Romano and Luca "The Bulldozer" Benedetti."Well, well," Leonardo sneered, cracking his knuckles. "Look who finally decided to show his face.""I don't have time for this," Yemin said flatly. "Make a way for me to pass."The three fighters burst into mocking laughter."Did you hear that?" Matteo said, wiping tears from his eyes. "This cheating bastard thinks he can just walk away!""Time?" Luca added with a cruel grin. "The only time you need to worry about is how much time you have left to live!"Matteo stepped fo

At the upscale restaurant across town, James Franx sat nervously across from Jonathan Blackwood, the well-dressed man who had promised him entry into what he believed was an exclusive organization. The dim lighting and quiet atmosphere made their corner table feel private and secretive."So," Jonathan said, adjusting his expensive cufflinks, "you mentioned having valuable information about Yemin Morgan."James nodded eagerly, practically vibrating with excitement. "Yes, absolutely! This guy isn't who everyone thinks he is.""Before we proceed," Jonathan interrupted smoothly, "I should inform you that my organization has been convened at the moment. We're dealing with some urgent internal matters.""Convened?" James asked, not fully understanding but trying to sound knowledgeable."An emergency meeting," Jonathan explained patiently. "However, if the information you provide proves to be accurate and useful, I'll refer it directly to my superiors."James's eyes lit up with greed and ant

Yemin stood in Isabella Torrino-Ricci's empty study, his mind racing with dark possibilities. The revelation that James had contacted the Sphinx organization sent chills down his spine, but what truly worried him was how much James actually knew."How the hell did that pathetic worm even learn about the Sphinx?" Yemin muttered to himself, pacing back and forth. "And what exactly does he think he knows about me?"The questions multiplied in his head like a virus. Had James somehow discovered his true identity as Alexander Ashford? Did he know about the systematic elimination of Sphinx members? Or worse, had he figured out the connection between Yemin Morgan and the Chairman of Group A?What Yemin didn't realize was that James knew absolutely nothing about the Sphinx organization itself. The desperate man had simply seen the business card with its mysterious logo and assumed the well-dressed stranger belonged to some powerful, exclusive circle. In his jealous rage and humiliation, James

Yemin watched Isabella Torrino-Ricci's face carefully as she ended her phone call. Her confident demeanor had completely evaporated, replaced by barely concealed panic and fear. The way her hands trembled slightly, how her eyes darted around nervously, the tension in her jaw - all clear signs that whoever had called her had delivered devastating news."Sphinx," Yemin thought to himself, recognizing the telltale signs of someone who had just received orders from a superior they feared. As Isabella gathered her belongings and hurried toward the exit, Yemin stepped out of the cage and began following her. The crowd was still celebrating and arguing about the shocking turn of events, but he paid them no attention.Sofia Torrino-Ricci noticed him moving through the arena and quickly intercepted his path."Where do you think you're going?" Sofia demanded, her face flushed with anger and indignation. "I just helped you win that fight, and now you're chasing after my sister like some lovesick

The arena erupted in a deafening chorus of boos and angry shouts as Yemin's request echoed through the venue."WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?" someone screamed from the crowd."YOU CHEATING PIECE OF SHIT!" another voice roared. "CAN'T TAKE A REAL BEATING?""COWARD!" a woman shrieked from the stands. "YOU'RE NOTHING BUT A PATHETIC COWARD!"The insults rained down like hail, but Yemin's expression remained deadly serious as he kept his eyes locked on Sofia Torrino-Ricci."CHEATER! CHEATER! CHEATER!" the crowd began chanting in unison, their voices shaking the arena walls."You disgust me!" one man yelled, his face red with rage. "I actually thought you were something special!""What a fraud!" another spectator added. "The moment things get tough, you want weapons!""Pathetic loser!" a third voice chimed in. "You're an embarrassment to fighting!"Sofia sat frozen in her VIP seat, her face pale with shock and disbelief. "Yemin, what are you talking about? Have you completely lost your m

Yemin sat quietly in the fighter preparation area, replaying the events in Isabella's study. The kiss on the cheek, her seductive advances, his rejection - it all seemed routine now. He had dealt with countless women trying to use their charms to manipulate him over the years."Just another desperate attempt at control," he muttered, dismissing the encounter entirely.Hours passed as he mentally prepared for the championship fight. This was it - his chance to finally get into the Sphinx organization and continue his hunt for his mother's killers. But as the afternoon wore on, something felt off. A slight dizziness crept in, barely noticeable at first. Yemin attributed it to pre-fight nerves, something he rarely experienced but assumed was natural given the stakes."Probably just adrenaline," he said to himself, shaking his head to clear the fog.As evening approached and fight time drew near, the dizziness intensified. By the time he was supposed to head to the arena, his head was spi
